2 Samuel 2

Dopo questo, Davide consultò l’Eterno, dicendo: “Debbo io salire in qualcuna delle città di Giuda?” L’Eterno gli rispose: “Sali”. Davide chiese: “Dove salirò io?” L’Eterno rispose:

DESPUÉS de esto aconteció que David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Subiré á alguna de las ciudades de Judá? Y Jehová le respondió: Sube. Y David tornó á decir: ¿A dónde subiré? Y él le dijo: A Hebrón.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

After this, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” The LORD said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” He said, “To Hebron.”

“A Hebron”. Davide dunque vi salì con le sue due mogli, Abinoam la Izreelita, ed Abigail la Carmelita ch’era stata moglie di Nabal.

Y David subió allá, y con él sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal del Carmelo.

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal’s wife the Carmelite.

So David went up there with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

Davide vi menò pure la gente ch’era con lui, ciascuno con la sua famiglia, e si stabilirono nelle città di Hebron.

Y llevó también David consigo los hombres que con él habían estado, cada uno con su familia; los cuales moraron en las ciudades de Hebrón.

And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

E gli uomini di Giuda vennero e unsero quivi Davide come re della casa di Giuda. Ora fu riferito a Davide ch’erano stati gli uomini di Jabes di Galaad a seppellire Saul.

Y vinieron los varones de Judá, y ungieron allí á David por rey sobre la casa de Judá. Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Los de Jabes de Galaad son los que sepultaron á Saúl.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabesh-gilead were they that buried Saul.

Allora Davide inviò de’ messi agli uomini di Jabes di Galaad, e fece dir loro: “Siate benedetti dall’Eterno, voi che avete mostrato questa benignità verso Saul, vostro signore, dandogli sepoltura!

Y envió David mensajeros á los de Jabes de Galaad, diciéndoles: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis hecho esta misericordia con vuestro señor Saúl en haberle dado sepultura.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “Blessed are you by the LORD, that you have shown this kindness to your lord, even to Saul, and have buried him.

Ed ora l’Eterno mostri a voi la sua benignità e la sua fedeltà! E anch’io vi farò del bene, giacché avete agito così.

Ahora pues, Jehová haga con vosotros misericordia y verdad; y yo también os haré bien por esto que habéis hecho.

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

Now may the LORD show loving kindness and truth to you. I also will reward you for this kindness, because you have done this thing.

Or dunque si rafforzino le vostre mani, e siate valenti; giacché Saul è morto, ma la casa di Giuda mi ha unto come re su di essa”.

Esfuércense pues ahora vuestras manos, y sed valientes; pues que muerto Saúl vuestro señor, los de la casa de Judá me han ungido por rey sobre ellos.

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.

Or Abner, figliuolo di Ner, capo dell’esercito di Saul, prese Jsh-Bosheth, figliuolo di Saul, e lo fece passare a Mahanaim,

Mas Abner hijo de Ner, general de ejército de Saúl, tomó á Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, é hízolo pasar al real:

But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s host, took Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

Now Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s army, had taken Ishbosheth the son of Saul and brought him over to Mahanaim.

e lo costituì re di Galaad, degli Ashuriti, di Izreel, d’Efraim, di Beniamino e di tutto Israele.

Y alzólo por rey sobre Galaad, y sobre Gessuri, y sobre Jezreel, y sobre Ephraim, y sobre Benjamín, y sobre todo Israel.

And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.

Jsh-Bosheth, figliuolo di Saul, avea quarant’anni quando cominciò a regnare sopra Israele, e regnò due anni. Ma la casa di Giuda seguitò Davide.

De cuarenta años era Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, cuando comenzó á reinar sobre Israel; y reinó dos años. Sola la casa de Judá seguía á David.

Ish-bosheth Saul’s son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.

Il tempo che Davide regnò a Hebron sulla casa di Giuda fu di sette anni e sei mesi.

Y fué el número de los días que David reinó en Hebrón sobre la casa de Judá, siete años y seis meses.

And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.

Joab, figliuolo di Tseruia e la gente di Davide si misero anch’essi in marcia. S’incontrarono presso lo stagno di Gabaon, e si fermarono gli uni da un lato dello stagno, gli altri dall’altro lato.

Y Joab hijo de Sarvia, y los siervos de David, salieron y encontráronlos junto al estanque de Gabaón: y como se juntaron, paráronse los unos de la una parte del estanque, y los otros de la otra.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.

Allora Abner disse a Joab: “Si levino dei giovani, e giochin di spada in nostra presenza!” E Joab rispose: “Si levino pure!”

Y dijo Abner á Joab: Levántense ahora los mancebos, y maniobren delante de nosotros. Y Joab respondió: Levántense.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.

Abner said to Joab, “Please let the young men arise and compete before us!” Joab said, “Let them arise!”

Quelli dunque si levarono, e si fecero avanti in numero uguale: dodici per Beniamino e per Jsh-Bosheth, figliuolo di Saul, e dodici della gente di Davide.

Entonces se levantaron, y en número de doce, pasaron de Benjamín de la parte de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl; y doce de los siervos de David.

Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

E ciascun d’essi, preso l’avversario per la testa, gli piantò la spada nel fianco; cosicché caddero tutt’insieme. Perciò quel luogo, ch’è presso a Gabaon, fu chiamato Helkath-Hatsurim.

Y cada uno echó mano de la cabeza de su compañero, y metióle su espada por el costado, cayendo así á una; por lo que fué llamado aquel lugar, Helcath-assurim, el cual está en Gabaón.

And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

They each caught his opponent by the head and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together. Therefore that place in Gibeon was called Helkath Hazzurim.

In quel giorno vi fu una battaglia aspra assai, nella quale Abner con la gente d’Israele fu sconfitto dalla gente di Davide.

Y hubo aquel día una batalla muy recia, y Abner y los hombres de Israel fueron vencidos de los siervos de David.

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.

The battle was very severe that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before David’s servants.

V’erano quivi i tre figliuoli di Tseruia, Joab, Abishai ed Asael; e Asael era di piè veloce come una gazzella della campagna.

Y estaban allí los tres hijos de Sarvia: Joab, y Abisai, y Asael. Este Asael era suelto de pies como un corzo del campo.

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

Asael si mise ad inseguire Abner; e, dandogli dietro, non si voltava né a destra né a sinistra.

El cual Asael siguió á Abner, yendo tras de él sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

Asahel pursued Abner. He didn’t turn to the right hand or to the left from following Abner.

Abner, guardandosi alle spalle, disse: “Sei tu, Asael?” Quegli rispose: “Son io”.

Y Abner miró atrás, y dijo: ¿No eres tú Asael? Y él respondió: Sí.

Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

Then Abner looked behind him and said, “Is that you, Asahel?” He answered, “It is.”

E Abner gli disse: “Volgiti a destra o a sinistra, afferra uno di que’ giovani, e prenditi le sue spoglie!” Ma Asael non volle cessare dall’inseguirlo.

Entonces Abner le dijo: Apártate á la derecha ó á la izquierda, y agárrate alguno de los mancebos, y toma para ti sus despojos. Pero Asael no quiso apartarse de en pos de él.

And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.

Abner said to him, “Turn away to your right hand or to your left, and grab one of the young men, and take his armor.” But Asahel would not turn away from following him.

E Abner di bel nuovo gli disse: “Cessa dal darmi dietro! Perché obbligarmi a inchiodarti al suolo? Come potrei io poi alzar la fronte dinanzi al tuo fratello Joab?”

Y Abner tornó á decir á Asael: Apártate de en pos de mí, porque te heriré derribándote en tierra, y después ¿cómo levantaré mi rostro á tu hermano Joab?

And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

Abner said again to Asahel, “Turn away from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I look Joab your brother in the face?”

Ma quegli si rifiutò di cambiare strada; allora Abner con la estremità inferiore della lancia lo colpì nell’inguine, sì che la lancia lo passò da parte a parte. Asael cadde e morì in quello stesso luogo; e quanti passavano dal punto dov’egli era caduto morto, si fermavano.

Y no queriendo él irse, hiriólo Abner con el regatón de la lanza por la quinta costilla, y salióle la lanza por las espaldas, y cayó allí, y murió en aquel mismo sitio. Y todos los que venían por aquel lugar donde Asael había caído y estaba muerto, se paraban.

Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

However, he refused to turn away. Therefore Abner with the back end of the spear struck him in the body, so that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there and died in the same place. As many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

Ma Joab e Abishai inseguirono Abner; e il sole tramontava quando giunsero al colle di Amma, ch’è dirimpetto a Ghiah, sulla via del deserto di Gabaon.

Mas Joab y Abisai siguieron á Abner; y púsoseles el sol cuando llegaron al collado de Amma, que está delante de Gía, junto al camino del desierto de Gabaón.

Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

But Joab and Abishai pursued Abner. The sun went down when they had come to the hill of Ammah, that lies before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

E i figliuoli di Beniamino si radunarono dietro ad Abner, formarono un corpo, e si collocarono in vetta a una collina.

Y juntáronse los hijos de Benjamín en un escuadrón con Abner, y paráronse en la cumbre del collado.

And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.

Allora Abner chiamò Joab e disse: “La spada divorerà ella in perpetuo? Non sai tu che alla fine ci sarà dell’amaro? Quando verrà dunque il momento che ordinerai al popolo di non dar più la caccia ai suoi fratelli?”

Y Abner dió voces á Joab, diciendo: ¿Consumirá la espada perpetuamente? ¿no sabes tú que al cabo se sigue amargura? ¿hasta cuándo no has de decir al pueblo que se vuelvan de seguir á sus hermanos?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, “Shall the sword devour forever? Don’t you know that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long will it be then, before you ask the people to return from following their brothers?”

Joab rispose: “Com’è vero che Dio vive, se tu non avessi parlato, il popolo non avrebbe cessato d’inseguire i suoi fratelli prima di domani mattina”.

Y Joab respondió: Vive Dios que si no hubieras hablado, ya desde esta mañana el pueblo hubiera dejado de seguir á sus hermanos.

And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”

Allora Joab suonò la tromba, e tutto il popolo si fermò, senza più inseguire Israele, e cessò di combattere.

Entonces Joab tocó el cuerno, y todo el pueblo se detuvo, y no siguió más á los de Israel, ni peleó más.

So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

Abner e la sua gente camminarono tutta quella notte per la campagna, passarono il Giordano, attraversarono tutto il Bithron e giunsero a Mahanaim.

Y Abner y los suyos caminaron por la campiña toda aquella noche, y pasando el Jordán cruzaron por todo Bitrón, y llegaron á Mahanaim.

And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

Joab tornò anch’egli dall’inseguire Abner; e, radunato tutto il popolo, risultò che della gente di Davide mancavano diciannove uomini ed Asael.

Joab también volvió de seguir á Abner, y juntando todo el pueblo, faltaron de los siervos de David diecinueve hombres, y Asael.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David’s servants nineteen men and Asahel.

Ma la gente di Davide aveva ucciso trecento sessanta uomini de’ Beniaminiti e della gente di Abner.

Mas los siervos de David hirieron de los de Benjamín y de los de Abner, trescientos y sesenta hombres, que murieron. Tomaron luego á Asael, y sepultáronlo en el sepulcro de su padre en Beth-lehem.

But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

But David’s servants had struck Benjamin Abner’s men so that three hundred sixty men died.

Poi portaron via Asael e lo seppellirono nel sepolcro di suo padre, a Bethlehem. Poi Joab e la sua gente camminaron tutta la notte; e il giorno spuntava, quando giunsero a Hebron.

Y caminaron toda aquella noche Joab y los suyos, y amanecióles en Hebrón.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Beth-lehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
