2 Samuel 2

Nach dieser Geschichte befragte David den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich in eine der Städte Judas hinaufziehen? Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Zieh hinauf! David sprach: Wohin soll ich ziehen? Er sprach: Gen Hebron!

DESPUÉS de esto aconteció que David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Subiré á alguna de las ciudades de Judá? Y Jehová le respondió: Sube. Y David tornó á decir: ¿A dónde subiré? Y él le dijo: A Hebrón.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

After this, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” The LORD said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” He said, “To Hebron.”

Also zog David dort hinauf mit seinen beiden Frauen, Achinoam, der Jesreelitin, und Abigail, Nabals, des Karmeliters, Weib,

Y David subió allá, y con él sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal del Carmelo.

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal’s wife the Carmelite.

So David went up there with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

dazu führte David die Männer, die bei ihm waren, hinauf, einen jeden mit seinem Haushalt, und sie wohnten in den Städten Hebrons.

Y llevó también David consigo los hombres que con él habían estado, cada uno con su familia; los cuales moraron en las ciudades de Hebrón.

And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

Und die Männer von Juda kamen und salbten David daselbst zum König über das Haus Juda.

Y vinieron los varones de Judá, y ungieron allí á David por rey sobre la casa de Judá. Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Los de Jabes de Galaad son los que sepultaron á Saúl.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabesh-gilead were they that buried Saul.

Und als David angesagt ward, daß die Männer von Jabes in Gilead Saul begraben hätten, sandte David Boten zu den Männern von Jabes in Gilead und ließ ihnen sagen: Gesegnet seid ihr vom HERRN, daß ihr solche Barmherzigkeit an Saul, eurem Herrn, getan und ihn begraben habt.

Y envió David mensajeros á los de Jabes de Galaad, diciéndoles: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis hecho esta misericordia con vuestro señor Saúl en haberle dado sepultura.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “Blessed are you by the LORD, that you have shown this kindness to your lord, even to Saul, and have buried him.

So erweise nun der HERR Barmherzigkeit und Treue auch an euch, und auch ich will euch Gutes tun, weil ihr solches getan habt.

Ahora pues, Jehová haga con vosotros misericordia y verdad; y yo también os haré bien por esto que habéis hecho.

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

Now may the LORD show loving kindness and truth to you. I also will reward you for this kindness, because you have done this thing.

So lasset nun eure Hände erstarken und seid tapfer; denn Saul, euer Herr, ist tot, und das Haus Juda hat mich zum König über sich gesalbt!

Esfuércense pues ahora vuestras manos, y sed valientes; pues que muerto Saúl vuestro señor, los de la casa de Judá me han ungido por rey sobre ellos.

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.

Abner aber, der Sohn Ners, welcher Sauls Feldhauptmann war, nahm Ischboset, den Sohn Sauls, und führte ihn gen Mahanaim

Mas Abner hijo de Ner, general de ejército de Saúl, tomó á Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, é hízolo pasar al real:

But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s host, took Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

Now Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s army, had taken Ishbosheth the son of Saul and brought him over to Mahanaim.

und machte ihn zum König über Gilead und über die von Aser, über Jesreel, Ephraim, Benjamin und über ganz Israel.

Y alzólo por rey sobre Galaad, y sobre Gessuri, y sobre Jezreel, y sobre Ephraim, y sobre Benjamín, y sobre todo Israel.

And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.

Ischboset aber, Sauls Sohn, war vierzig Jahre alt, als er König wurde über Israel, und regierte zwei Jahre lang. Nur das Haus Juda hielt es mit David.

De cuarenta años era Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, cuando comenzó á reinar sobre Israel; y reinó dos años. Sola la casa de Judá seguía á David.

Ish-bosheth Saul’s son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.

Die Zeit aber, da David zu Hebron über das Haus Juda regierte, betrug sieben Jahre und sechs Monate.

Und Abner, der Sohn Ners, zog aus samt den Knechten Ischbosets, des Sohnes Sauls, von Mahanaim gen Gibeon.

Y Abner hijo de Ner salió de Mahanaim á Gabaón con los siervos de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl.

And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.

Und Joab, der Sohn Zerujas, zog auch aus, samt den Knechten Davids, und sie stießen aufeinander am Teiche zu Gibeon, und die einen setzten sich diesseits, die andern jenseits des Teiches fest.

Y Joab hijo de Sarvia, y los siervos de David, salieron y encontráronlos junto al estanque de Gabaón: y como se juntaron, paráronse los unos de la una parte del estanque, y los otros de la otra.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.

Und Abner sprach zu Joab: Die Knappen sollen sich aufmachen und vor uns ein Kampfspiel aufführen! Joab sprach: Nun wohlan, so sollen sie sich aufmachen!

Y dijo Abner á Joab: Levántense ahora los mancebos, y maniobren delante de nosotros. Y Joab respondió: Levántense.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.

Abner said to Joab, “Please let the young men arise and compete before us!” Joab said, “Let them arise!”

Da machten sie sich auf und gingen abgezählt hin: zwölf aus Benjamin, von den Leuten Ischbosets, des Sohnes Sauls, und zwölf von den Knechten Davids.

Entonces se levantaron, y en número de doce, pasaron de Benjamín de la parte de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl; y doce de los siervos de David.

Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

Then they arose and went over by number: twelve for Benjamin and for Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of David’s servants.

Und einer griff den andern beim Kopf und stieß ihm sein Schwert in die Seite; und sie fielen miteinander. Daher wird der Ort Helkat-Hazurim genannt; er ist bei Gibeon.

Y cada uno echó mano de la cabeza de su compañero, y metióle su espada por el costado, cayendo así á una; por lo que fué llamado aquel lugar, Helcath-assurim, el cual está en Gabaón.

And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

They each caught his opponent by the head and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together. Therefore that place in Gibeon was called Helkath Hazzurim.

Und es entspann sich ein sehr harter Streit an jenem Tag. Abner aber und die Männer von Israel wurden von den Knechten Davids geschlagen.

Y hubo aquel día una batalla muy recia, y Abner y los hombres de Israel fueron vencidos de los siervos de David.

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.

The battle was very severe that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before David’s servants.

Es waren aber drei Söhne Zerujas daselbst: Joab, Abisai und Asahel. Asahel aber war leichtfüßig wie eine Gazelle auf dem Felde.

Y estaban allí los tres hijos de Sarvia: Joab, y Abisai, y Asael. Este Asael era suelto de pies como un corzo del campo.

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

The three sons of Zeruiah were there: Joab, Abishai, and Asahel. Asahel was as light of foot as a wild gazelle.

Und Asahel jagte dem Abner nach und wich nicht von Abner, weder zur Rechten noch zur Linken.

El cual Asael siguió á Abner, yendo tras de él sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

Asahel pursued Abner. He didn’t turn to the right hand or to the left from following Abner.

Da wandte sich Abner um und sprach: Bist du Asahel? Er antwortete: Ja!

Y Abner miró atrás, y dijo: ¿No eres tú Asael? Y él respondió: Sí.

Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

Then Abner looked behind him and said, “Is that you, Asahel?” He answered, “It is.”

Abner sprach zu ihm: Wende dich entweder zur Rechten oder zur Linken und greife einen der Knappen an und nimm dir seine Rüstung! Aber Asahel wollte nicht von ihm ablassen.

Entonces Abner le dijo: Apártate á la derecha ó á la izquierda, y agárrate alguno de los mancebos, y toma para ti sus despojos. Pero Asael no quiso apartarse de en pos de él.

And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.

Abner said to him, “Turn away to your right hand or to your left, and grab one of the young men, and take his armor.” But Asahel would not turn away from following him.

Da sprach Abner abermal zu Asahel: Laß ab von mir! Warum willst du, daß ich dich zu Boden schlage? Wie dürfte ich dann noch deinem Bruder Joab unter die Augen treten?

Y Abner tornó á decir á Asael: Apártate de en pos de mí, porque te heriré derribándote en tierra, y después ¿cómo levantaré mi rostro á tu hermano Joab?

And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

Abner said again to Asahel, “Turn away from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I look Joab your brother in the face?”

Da er aber nicht von ihm ablassen wollte, stach ihn Abner mit dem Speer rückwärts in den Bauch, so daß der Speer hinten herausdrang. Und er fiel daselbst und starb auf der Stelle; und wer zu dem Ort kam, wo Asahel tot dalag, der stand stille.

Y no queriendo él irse, hiriólo Abner con el regatón de la lanza por la quinta costilla, y salióle la lanza por las espaldas, y cayó allí, y murió en aquel mismo sitio. Y todos los que venían por aquel lugar donde Asael había caído y estaba muerto, se paraban.

Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

However, he refused to turn away. Therefore Abner with the back end of the spear struck him in the body, so that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there and died in the same place. As many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

Aber Joab und Abisai jagten dem Abner nach, bis die Sonne unterging; und als sie zu dem Hügel Amma kamen, der vor Giach liegt, auf dem Wege zur Wüste Gibeon,

Mas Joab y Abisai siguieron á Abner; y púsoseles el sol cuando llegaron al collado de Amma, que está delante de Gía, junto al camino del desierto de Gabaón.

Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

But Joab and Abishai pursued Abner. The sun went down when they had come to the hill of Ammah, that lies before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

da versammelten sich die Kinder Benjamin hinter Abner her und bildeten einen Haufen und traten auf die Höhe des Hügels.

Y juntáronse los hijos de Benjamín en un escuadrón con Abner, y paráronse en la cumbre del collado.

And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.

Da rief Abner Joab zu und sprach: Soll denn das Schwert unaufhörlich fressen? Weißt du nicht, daß zuletzt eine Erbitterung entstehen wird? Und wie lange willst du nicht dem Volke sagen, daß es von seinen Brüdern ablasse?

Y Abner dió voces á Joab, diciendo: ¿Consumirá la espada perpetuamente? ¿no sabes tú que al cabo se sigue amargura? ¿hasta cuándo no has de decir al pueblo que se vuelvan de seguir á sus hermanos?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, “Shall the sword devour forever? Don’t you know that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long will it be then, before you ask the people to return from following their brothers?”

Joab sprach: So wahr Gott lebt, hättest du nicht gesprochen, so hätte sich das Volk nicht vor dem Morgen zurückgezogen und wäre ein jeder von der Verfolgung seines Bruders abgestanden!

Y Joab respondió: Vive Dios que si no hubieras hablado, ya desde esta mañana el pueblo hubiera dejado de seguir á sus hermanos.

And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”

Und Joab blies die Posaune, und alles Volk stand still und jagte Israel nicht mehr nach, und sie stritten auch nicht mehr.

Entonces Joab tocó el cuerno, y todo el pueblo se detuvo, y no siguió más á los de Israel, ni peleó más.

So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

Abner aber und seine Männer marschierten die ganze Nacht nach der Jordanebene und überschritten den Jordan und durchzogen die ganze Schlucht und kamen gen Mahanaim.

Y Abner y los suyos caminaron por la campiña toda aquella noche, y pasando el Jordán cruzaron por todo Bitrón, y llegaron á Mahanaim.

And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

Joab aber wandte sich von Abner und versammelte das ganze Volk. Und es fehlten von den Knechten Davids neunzehn Mann und Asahel.

Joab también volvió de seguir á Abner, y juntando todo el pueblo, faltaron de los siervos de David diecinueve hombres, y Asael.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David’s servants nineteen men and Asahel.

Aber die Knechte Davids hatten aus Benjamin und unter den Männern Abners dreihundertundsechzig Mann, die gefallen waren, erschlagen.

Mas los siervos de David hirieron de los de Benjamín y de los de Abner, trescientos y sesenta hombres, que murieron. Tomaron luego á Asael, y sepultáronlo en el sepulcro de su padre en Beth-lehem.

But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

But David’s servants had struck Benjamin Abner’s men so that three hundred sixty men died.

Und sie hoben Asahel auf und begruben ihn in seines Vaters Grab zu Bethlehem. Joab aber samt seinen Männern marschierte die ganze Nacht, so daß sie mit Tagesanbruch nach Hebron kamen.

Y caminaron toda aquella noche Joab y los suyos, y amanecióles en Hebrón.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Beth-lehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
