Da aber kamen gerade Davids Leute und Joab von einem Streifzug zurück und brachten reiche Beute mit, als Abner sich bereits nicht mehr bei David in Hebron befand, sondern dieser ihn entlassen hatte, so daß er in Frieden heimzog.
