Und es kamen alle Ältesten in Israel zum Könige gen Hebron. Und der König David machte mit ihnen einen Bund zu Hebron vor dem HERRN; und sie salbeten David zum Könige über Israel.

Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and spoke, saying, “Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
