Allora Davide consultò l’Eterno, dicendo: “Salirò io contro i Filistei? Me li darai tu nelle mani?” L’Eterno rispose a Davide: “Sali; poiché certamente io darò i Filistei nelle tue mani”.
Entonces consultó David á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré contra los Filisteos? ¿los entregarás en mis manos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, porque ciertamente entregaré los Filisteos en tus manos.
And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” The LORD said to David, “Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into your hand.”
