2 Samuel 5

Alors toutes les Tribus d’Israël vinrent vers David à Hébron, et lui parlèrent, en disant : Voici, nous sommes tes os et ta chair.

Y VINIERON todas las tribus de Israel á David en Hebrón, y hablaron, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos tus huesos y tu carne.

Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

Et même auparavant, quand Saül était Roi sur nous, tu étais celui qui menais et qui ramenais Israël ; et de plus l’Eternel t’a dit : Tu paîtras mon peuple d’Israël, et tu seras Conducteur d’Israël.

Y aun ayer y antes, cuando Saúl reinaba sobre nosotros, tú sacabas y volvías á Israel. Además Jehová te ha dicho: Tú apacentarás á mi pueblo Israel, y tú serás sobre Israel príncipe.

Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.

In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out and in. The LORD said to you, ‘You will be shepherd of my people Israel, and you will be prince over Israel.’”

Tous les Anciens donc d’Israël vinrent vers le Roi à Hébron ; et le Roi David traita alliance avec eux à Hébron devant l’Eternel ; et ils oignirent David pour Roi sur Israël.

Vinieron pues todos los ancianos de Israel al rey en Hebrón, y el rey David hizo con ellos alianza en Hebrón delante de Jehová; y ungieron á David por rey sobre Israel.

So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.

Or le Roi s’en alla avec ses gens à Jérusalem contre les Jébusiens qui habitaient en ce pays-là, lesquels dirent à David : Tu n’entreras point ici que tu n’aies ôté les aveugles et les boiteux ; voulant dire, David n’entrera point ici.

Entonces el rey y los suyos fueron á Jerusalem al Jebuseo que habitaba en la tierra; el cual habló á David, diciendo: Tú no entrarás acá, si no echares los ciegos y los cojos; diciendo: No entrará acá David.

And the king and his men went to Jerusalem unto the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land: which spake unto David, saying, Except thou take away the blind and the lame, thou shalt not come in hither: thinking, David cannot come in hither.

Néanmoins David prit la forteresse de Sion, qui est la Cité de David.

Empero David tomó la fortaleza de Sión, la cual es la ciudad de David.

Or David avait dit en ce jour-là : Quiconque aura battu les Jébusiens, et aura atteint le canal, et les aveugles et les boiteux qui sont haïs de l’âme de David, sera récompensé. C’est pourquoi on dit : Aucun aveugle ni boiteux n’entrera dans cette maison.

And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David’s soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.

David said on that day, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites, let him go up to the watercourse and strike those lame and blind, who are hated by David’s soul.” Therefore they say, “The blind and the lame can’t come into the house.”

So David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.

Et David connut que l’Eternel l’avait affermi Roi sur Israël, et qu’il avait élevé son Royaume, à cause de son peuple d’Israël.

Or quand les Philistins eurent appris qu’on avait oint David pour Roi sur Israël, ils montèrent tous pour chercher David ; et David l’ayant appris, descendit vers la forteresse.

Y oyendo los Filisteos que habían ungido á David por rey sobre Israel, todos los Filisteos subieron á buscar á David: lo cual como David oyó, vino á la fortaleza.

But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.

Alors David consulta l’Eternel, en disant : Monterai-je contre les Philistins ? les livreras-tu entre mes mains ? et l’Eternel répondit à David : Monte, car certainement je livrerai les Philistins entre tes mains.

Entonces consultó David á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré contra los Filisteos? ¿los entregarás en mis manos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, porque ciertamente entregaré los Filisteos en tus manos.

And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” The LORD said to David, “Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

Alors David vint en Bahal-pératsim, et les battit là, et il dit : L’Eternel a fait écouler mes ennemis devant moi, comme par un débordement d’eaux ; c’est pourquoi il nomma ce lieu-là, Bahal- pératsim.

Y vino David á Baal-perasim, y allí los venció David, y dijo: Rompió Jehová mis enemigos delante de mí, como quien rompe aguas. Y por esto llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Baal-perasim.

And David came to Baal-perazim, and David smote them there, and said, The LORD hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

David came to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there. Then he said, “The LORD has broken my enemies before me, like the breach of waters.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.

Et ils laissèrent là leurs faux dieux, lesquels David et ses gens emportèrent.

Y dejaron allí sus ídolos, los cuales quemó David y los suyos.

And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.

Et les Philistins montèrent encore une autre fois, et se répandirent dans la vallée des Réphaïms.

Et David consulta l’Eternel, qui répondit : Tu ne monteras point ; mais tu tourneras derrière eux, et iras contr’eux vis-à-vis des meuriers.

Y consultando David á Jehová, él le respondió: No subas; mas rodéalos, y vendrás á ellos por delante de los morales:

And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

When David inquired of the LORD, he said, “You shall not go up. Circle around behind them, and attack them in front of the mulberry trees.

Et quand tu entendras sur le sommet des meuriers un bruit comme de gens qui marchent, alors remue-toi ; parce que l’Eternel sera sorti alors devant toi pour battre le camp des Philistins.

Y cuando oyeres un estruendo que irá por las copas de los morales, entonces te moverás; porque Jehová saldrá delante de ti á herir el campo de los Filisteos.

And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.

When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then stir yourself up; for then the LORD has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”

David donc fit ainsi que l’Eternel lui avait commandé ; et battit les Philistins depuis Guébah jusqu’à Guézer.

Y David lo hizo así, como Jehová se lo había mandado; é hirió á los Filisteos desde Gabaa hasta llegar á Gaza.

And David did so, as the LORD had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.
