2 Samuel 6

Reunió después David nuevamente todos los soldados más escogidos de Israel en número de treinta mil;

Y DAVID tornó á juntar todos los escogidos de Israel, treinta mil.

Y levantóse David, y fué con todo el pueblo que tenía consigo, de Baal de Judá, para hacer pasar de allí el arca de Dios, sobre la cual era invocado el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, que mora en ella entre los querubines.

And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.

Y pusieron el arca de Dios en un carro nuevo sacándola de casa de Abinadab, que habitaba en Gabaa; siendo Oza y Ahío, hijos de Abinadab, los que iban guiando el carro nuevo.

Y pusieron el arca de Dios sobre un carro nuevo, y lleváronla de la casa de Abinadab, que estaba en Gabaa: y Uzza y Ahio, hijos de Abinadab, guiaban el carro nuevo.

And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.

They set God’s ark on a new cart, and brought it out of Abinadab’s house that was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.

Luego que sacaron el arca de Dios de la casa de Abinadab, en cuya custodia estaba en Gabaa, Ahío iba delante del arca .

Y cuando lo llevaban de la casa de Abinadab que estaba en Gabaa, con el arca de Dios, Ahio iba delante del arca.

And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.

They brought it out of Abinadab’s house which was in the hill, with God’s ark; and Ahio went before the ark.

David y todo Israel festejaban al Señor con toda suerte de instrumentos de madera, con cítaras, y liras, y tambores, y sistros, y címbalos.

Y David y toda la casa de Israel danzaban delante de Jehová con toda suerte de instrumentos de madera de haya; con arpas, salterios, adufes, flautas y címbalos.

And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD with all kinds of instruments made of cypress wood, with harps, with stringed instruments, with tambourines, with castanets, and with cymbals.

Mas así que llegaron a la era de Nacón, extendió Oza la mano hacia el arca de Dios, y la sostuvo, porque los bueyes coceaban y la habían hecho inclinar.

Y cuando llegaron á la era de Nachôn, Uzza extendió la mano al arca de Dios, y túvola; porque los bueyes daban sacudidas.

And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached for God’s ark and took hold of it, for the cattle stumbled.

Y el Señor indignado en gran manera contra Oza, lo castigó por su temeridad, y quedó allí muerto junto al arca de Dios.

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uzza, é hiriólo allí Dios por aquella temeridad, y cayó allí muerto junto al arca de Dios.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

The LORD’s anger burned against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by God’s ark.

Se entristeció David por haber castigado Dios a Oza; y llamó aquel lugar Castigo de Oza, nombre que conserva hasta hoy.

Y entristecióse David por haber herido Jehová á Uzza: y fué llamado aquel lugar Pérez-uzza, hasta hoy.

And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perez-uzzah to this day.

David was displeased because the LORD had broken out against Uzzah; and he called that place Perez Uzzah to this day.

Por lo que David concibió en aquel día un gran temor al Señor, y dijo: ¿Cómo ha de ir a mi casa el arca del Señor?

Y temiendo David á Jehová aquel día, dijo: ¿Cómo ha de venir á mí el arca de Jehová?

And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?

David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, “How could the LORD’s ark come to me?”

Y así no quiso que se llevase el arca del Señor a su casa en la Ciudad de David, sino que la trasladó a casa del levita Obededom, geteo.

No quiso pues David traer á sí el arca de Jehová á la ciudad de David; mas llevóla David á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.

So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

So David would not move the LORD’s ark to be with him in David’s city; but David carried it aside into Obed-Edom the Gittite’s house.

Estuvo, pues, el arca en casa de Obededom de Get tres meses y bendijo el Señor a Obededom y toda su casa.

Y estuvo el arca de Jehová en casa de Obed-edom Getheo tres meses: y bendijo Jehová á Obed-edom y á toda su casa.

And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obed-edom, and all his household.

The LORD’s ark remained in Obed-Edom the Gittite’s house three months; and the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and all his house.

Dieron luego aviso al rey David de que el Señor había echado la bendición sobre Obededom y sobre todas sus cosas, por causa del arca de Dios. Fue, pues, David, y trasladó el arca de Dios de la casa de Obededom a la Ciudad de David con gran regocijo; e iban junto a David siete coros de músicos y un becerro para el sacrificio.

Y fué dado aviso al rey David, diciendo: Jehová ha bendecido la casa de Obed-edom, y todo lo que tiene, á causa del arca de Dios. Entonces David fué, y trajo el arca de Dios de casa de Obed-edom á la ciudad de David con alegría.

And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness.

King David was told, “The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-Edom, and all that belongs to him, because of God’s ark.” So David went and brought up God’s ark from the house of Obed-Edom into David’s city with joy.

Y cada seis pasos que andaban los que llevaban el arca del Señor, inmolaba un buey y un carnero.

Y como los que llevaban el arca de Dios habían andado seis pasos, sacrificaban un buey y un carnero grueso.

And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.

When those who bore the LORD’s ark had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened calf.

Y ceñido David de un efod de lino, danzaba con todas sus fuerzas delante del arca del Señor;

So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.

Mas al entrar el arca del Señor en la Ciudad de David, Micol, hija de Saúl, mirando desde una ventana, vio al rey David bailando y saltando delante del Señor; y lo despreció en su corazón.

Y como el arca de Jehová llegó á la ciudad de David, aconteció que Michâl hija de Saúl miró desde una ventana, y vió al rey David que saltaba con toda su fuerza delante de Jehová: y menosprecióle en su corazón.

And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.

Introdujeron, pues, los levitas el arca del Señor, y la colocaron en su sitio, en medio del Tabernáculo que le había mandado levantar David, el cual ofreció holocaustos y víctimas pacíficas en acción de gracias delante del Señor.

Metieron pues el arca de Jehová, y pusiéronla en su lugar en medio de una tienda que David le había tendido: y sacrificó David holocaustos y pacíficos delante de Jehová.

And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

Así que acabó de ofrecer los holocaustos y las víctimas pacíficas bendijo al pueblo, en el nombre del Señor Dios de los ejércitos.

Y como David hubo acabado de ofrecer los holocaustos y pacíficos, bendijo al pueblo en el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos.

And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.

When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of Armies.

Y distribuyó a toda la muchedumbre de israelitas que le habían acompañado, tanto a hombres como a mujeres, a cada persona una torta de pan, un pedazo de carne de buey asada, y flor de harina frita en aceite. Con esto se retiró toda la gente, cada cual a su casa.

Y repartió á todo el pueblo, y á toda la multitud de Israel, así á hombres como á mujeres, á cada uno una torta de pan, y un pedazo de carne, y un frasco de vino. Y fuése todo el pueblo, cada uno á su casa.

And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.

David también entró en la suya para bendecirla; y Micol, hija de Saúl, saliendo a recibirle, le dijo: ¡Qué bella figura ha hecho hoy el rey de Israel, despojándose de sus insignias delante de las criadas de sus siervos, y desnudándose ni más ni menos de lo que haría si fuese un bufón!

Volvió luego David para bendecir su casa: y saliendo Michâl á recibir á David, dijo: ¡Cuán honrado ha sido hoy el rey de Israel, desnudándose hoy delante de las criadas de sus siervos, como se desnudara un juglar!

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!

Pero David respondió a Micol: Delante del Señor, que me eligió en lugar de tu padre y de toda su descendencia, y que me mandó ser el caudillo del pueblo del Señor en Israel,

Entonces David respondió á Michâl: Delante de Jehová, que me eligió más bien que á tu padre y á toda su casa, mandándome que fuese príncipe sobre el pueblo de Jehová, sobre Israel, danzaré delante de Jehová.

And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.

David said to Michal, “It was before the LORD, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of the LORD, over Israel. Therefore I will celebrate before the LORD.

bailaré yo, y me abatiré todavía más de lo que he hecho, y seré despreciable a los ojos míos; y a los de las criadas, de que has hablado, y pareceré más glorioso.

Y aun me haré más vil que esta vez, y seré bajo á mis propios ojos; y delante de las criadas que dijiste, delante de ellas seré honrado.

And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.

I will be yet more undignified than this, and will be worthless in my own sight. But the maids of whom you have spoken will honor me.”

Por lo que Micol, hija de Saúl, no tuvo hijos todo el tiempo que vivió.

Y Michâl hija de Saúl nunca tuvo hijos hasta el día de su muerte.

Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
