And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies;

il dit à Nathan le prophète: "Vois, j'habite un palais de cèdre, et l'arche du Seigneur est logée sous une tente!"
Dijo el rey al profeta Nathán: Mira ahora, yo moro en edificios de cedro, y el arca de Dios está entre cortinas.
That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

Nathan répondit au roi: "Tout ce qui est dans ta pensée, va, exécute-le, car le Seigneur est avec toi."
Y Nathán dijo al rey: Anda, y haz todo lo que está en tu corazón, que Jehová es contigo.
And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.
Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the LORD is with you.”
Cependant, cette nuit même, la parole de l'Eternel s'adressa ainsi à Nathan:
Y aconteció aquella noche, que fué palabra de Jehová á Nathán, diciendo:
And it came to pass that night, that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan, saying,
That same night, the LORD’s word came to Nathan, saying,
"Va dire à mon serviteur, à David: Ainsi a parlé l'Eternel: Quoi! Tu veux m'ériger un temple pour ma résidence?
Ve y di á mi siervo David: Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿Tú me has de edificar casa en que yo more?
Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?
“Go and tell my servant David, ‘The LORD says, “Should you build me a house for me to dwell in?
Pourtant je n'ai point demeuré dans un temple, depuis le jour où je tirai de l'Egypte les enfants d'Israël jusqu'à ce jour, mais j'ai voyagé sous une tente, dans un pavillon.
Ciertamente no he habitado en casas desde el día que saqué á los hijos de Israel de Egipto hasta hoy, sino que anduve en tienda y en tabernáculo.
Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.

Tout le temps que j'ai marché au milieu des enfants d'Israël, ai-je dit à un seul homme entre les tribus d'Israël, à ceux que j'ai donnés pour pasteurs à mon peuple Israël, ai-je dit: "Pourquoi ne me bâtissez-vous pas une maison de cèdre?"
Y en todo cuanto he andado con todos los hijos de Israel, ¿he hablado palabra en alguna de las tribus de Israel, á quien haya mandado que apaciente mi pueblo de Israel, para decir: ¿Por qué no me habéis edificado casa de cedros?
In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar?
In all places in which I have walked with all the children of Israel, did I say a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people Israel, saying, ‘Why have you not built me a house of cedar?’”’
Donc parle de la sorte à mon serviteur David: Ainsi a parlé l'Eternel-Cebaot: Je t'ai tiré du bercail où tu gardais les brebis, pour t'établir chef de mon peuple Israël.
Ahora pues, dirás así á mi siervo David: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Yo te tomé de la majada, de detrás de las ovejas, para que fueses príncipe sobre mi pueblo, sobre Israel;
Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:
Now therefore tell my servant David this: ‘The LORD of Armies says, “I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people, over Israel.
Je t'ai assisté dans toutes tes voies, j'ai détruit devant toi tous tes ennemis, et je t'ai fait un grand nom, égal aux plus grands noms de la terre.
Y he sido contigo en todo cuanto has andado, y delante de ti he talado todos tus enemigos, y te he hecho nombre grande, como el nombre de los grandes que son en la tierra.
And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.
I have been with you wherever you went, and have cut off all your enemies from before you. I will make you a great name, like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.
J'ai assigné à mon peuple Israël une résidence où je l'ai implanté, et où il se maintiendra et ne sera plus inquiété; et des gens pervers ne le molesteront plus comme précédemment.
Además yo fijaré lugar á mi pueblo Israel, yo lo plantaré, para que habite en su lugar, y nunca más sea removido, ni los inicuos le aflijan más, como antes,
Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

Depuis l'époque où j'ai préposé des juges à mon peuple Israël, je n'ai accordé qu'à toi la sécurité à l'égard de tous tes ennemis. L'Eternel t'a annoncé par là que lui-même veut t'ériger une maison.
Desde el día que puse jueces sobre mi pueblo Israel; y yo te daré descanso de todos tus enemigos. Asimismo Jehová te hace saber, que él te quiere hacer casa.
And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.
and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. I will cause you to rest from all your enemies. Moreover the LORD tells you that the LORD will make you a house.
Quand tes jours seront accomplis et que tu reposeras auprès de tes pères, j'établirai à ta place ta progéniture, celui qui doit naître de toi, et j'affermirai son empire.
Y cuando tus días fueren cumplidos, y durmieres con tus padres, yo estableceré tu simiente después de ti, la cual procederá de tus entrañas, y aseguraré su reino.
And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
When your days are fulfilled and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up your offspring after you, who will proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom.
C'est lui qui édifiera un temple en mon honneur, et j'assurerai à jamais le trône de sa royauté.
El edificará casa á mi nombre, y yo afirmaré para siempre el trono de su reino.
He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

Ma grâce ne l'abandonnera point comme elle a abandonné Saül, que j'ai dépossédé pour toi.
Empero mi misericordia no se apartará de él, como la aparté de Saúl, al cual quité de delante de ti.
But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

Oui, ta maison et ta royauté sont à jamais assurées devant toi; ton trône sera stable pour toujours."
Y será afirmada tu casa y tu reino para siempre delante de tu rostro; y tu trono será estable eternalmente.
And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you. Your throne will be established forever.”’”
Toutes ces paroles et toute cette vision, Nathan les rapporta fidèlement à David.
Conforme á todas estas palabras, y conforme á toda esta visión, así habló Nathán á David.
According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
Nathan spoke to David all these words, and according to all this vision.
Le roi David alla se mettre en présence du Seigneur et dit: "Qui suis-je, Seigneur Elohim, et qu'est-ce que ma famille, pour que tu m'aies amené jusqu'ici?
Y entró el rey David, y púsose delante de Jehová, y dijo: Señor Jehová, ¿quién soy yo, y qué es mi casa, para que tú me traigas hasta aquí?
Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
Then David the king went in and sat before the LORD; and he said, “Who am I, Lord GOD, and what is my house, that you have brought me this far?
Encore était-ce trop peu à tes yeux, Seigneur Elohim, et tu as même annoncé, dans un lointain avenir, le sort de ma famille: est-ce donc là le lot d'un mortel, Seigneur Dieu?
Y aun te ha parecido poco esto, Señor Jehová, pues que también has hablado de la casa de tu siervo en lo por venir. ¿Es ése el modo de obrar del hombre, Señor Jehová?
And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?
This was yet a small thing in your eyes, Lord GOD, but you have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come; and this among men, Lord GOD!
Que pourrait David te dire encore de plus, à toi, Seigneur Dieu, qui connais bien ton serviteur?
¿Y qué más puede añadir David hablando contigo? Tú pues conoces tu siervo, Señor Jehová.
And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant.
What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Lord GOD.
A cause de ta promesse et selon ta volonté, tu as accompli ces grandes choses et les as révélées à ton serviteur.
Todas estas grandezas has obrado por tu palabra y conforme á tu corazón, haciéndolas saber á tu siervo.
For thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.
For your word’s sake, and according to your own heart, you have worked all this greatness, to make your servant know it.
Par là tu t'es montré grand, Seigneur Dieu! Car nul n'est comme toi, point de Dieu hormis toi, ainsi que nous l'avons entendu de nos oreilles.
Por tanto tú te has engrandecido, Jehová Dios: por cuanto no hay como tú, ni hay Dios fuera de ti, conforme á todo lo que hemos oído con nuestros oídos.
Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Therefore you are great, LORD God. For there is no one like you, neither is there any God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Et y a-t-il, comme ton peuple, comme Israël, une seule nation sur la terre que des dieux soient allés délivrer pour en faire leur peuple, lui assurant ainsi un nom, opérant pour vous des choses grandes et imposantes comme tu as agi envers ton pays, en faveur de ton peuple que tu as arraché pour toi à l'Egypte, à des peuples et à leurs divinités?
¿Y quién como tu pueblo, como Israel, en la tierra? una gente por amor de la cual Dios fuese á redimírsela por pueblo, y le pusiese nombre, é hiciese por vosotros, oh Israel, grandes y espantosas obras en tu tierra, por amor de tu pueblo, oh Dios, que tú redimiste de Egipto, de las gentes y de sus dioses?
And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
What one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, and to make himself a name, and to do great things for you, and awesome things for your land, before your people, whom you redeemed to yourself out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
Tu as institué ton peuple Israël pour qu'il fût ton peuple à jamais, et toi, Seigneur, tu es devenu leur Dieu.
Porque tú te has confirmado á tu pueblo Israel por pueblo tuyo para siempre: y tú, oh Jehová, fuiste á ellos por Dios.
For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.
You established for yourself your people Israel to be your people forever; and you, LORD, became their God.
Et maintenant, Seigneur Dieu, la parole que tu as prononcée sur ton serviteur et sur sa maison, maintiens-la à jamais, et fais comme tu l'as dit.
Ahora pues, Jehová Dios, la palabra que has hablado sobre tu siervo y sobre su casa, despiértala para siempre, y haz conforme á lo que has dicho.
And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.
“Now, LORD God, the word that you have spoken concerning your servant, and concerning his house, confirm it forever, and do as you have spoken.
Que ton nom soit exalté à jamais par cette parole: "L'Eternel-Cebaot est le Dieu d'Israël!" et que la maison de ton serviteur David se maintienne devant toi.
Que sea engrandecido tu nombre para siempre, y dígase: Jehová de los ejércitos es Dios sobre Israel; y que la casa de tu siervo David sea firme delante de ti.
And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee.
Let your name be magnified forever, saying, ‘The LORD of Armies is God over Israel; and the house of your servant David will be established before you.’
Puisque toi-même, Eternel-Cebaot, Dieu d'Israël, tu as révélé à l'oreille de ton serviteur cette parole: "Je veux t'édifier une maison", ton serviteur s'est trouvé enhardi à t'adresser cette prière.
Porque tú, Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, revelaste al oído de tu siervo, diciendo: Yo te edificaré casa. Por esto tu siervo ha hallado en su corazón para hacer delante de ti esta súplica.
For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.
For you, LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
Or, Seigneur Elohim, tu es le vrai Dieu, tes promesses sont vérité, et toi-même as promis ce bien à ton serviteur.
Ahora pues, Jehová Dios, tú eres Dios, y tus palabras serán firmes, ya que has dicho á tu siervo este bien.
And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
“Now, O Lord GOD, you are God, and your words are truth, and you have promised this good thing to your servant.
Veuille donc bénir la maison de ton serviteur, qu'elle subsiste constamment devant toi! Car c'est toi qui as parlé, Seigneur Elohim, et par ta bénédiction sera bénie à jamais la maison de ton serviteur."
Tenlo pues ahora á bien, y bendice la casa de tu siervo, para que perpetuamente permanezca delante de ti: pues que tú, Jehová Dios, lo has dicho, y con tu bendición será bendita la casa de tu siervo para siempre.
Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.
Now therefore, let it please you to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever before you; for you, Lord GOD, have spoken it. Let the house of your servant be blessed forever with your blessing.”
