2También venció a los moabitas, a quienes hizo tender en el suelo y los midió con un cordel. A todos los que quedaron dentro de las dos primeras medidas los hizo matar, pero dejó con vida a los que estaban en la tercera medida. Y los moabitas se convirtieron en vasallos y tributarios de David.

2And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David’s servants, and brought gifts.
