David situó varias guarniciones en Damasco, y los sirios fueron súbditos de David y le presentaban anualmente sus tributos. El Señor le daba victorias en todas las campañas militares que emprendía.

Puso luego David guarnición en Siria la de Damasco, y fueron los Siros siervos de David sujetos á tributo. Y Jehová guardó á David donde quiera que fué.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
