Irmãos, dar graças a Deus por vocês não é somente o que temos a fazer de correto, mas é nosso dever para com Deus, por causa da maneira verdadeiramente maravilhosa como tem crescido a fé que vocês têm e por causa do crescente amor que vocês revelam uns para com os outros.
Debemos siempre dar gracias á Dios de vosotros, hermanos, como es digno, por cuanto vuestra fe va creciendo, y la caridad de cada uno de todos vosotros abunda entre vosotros;
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds,
Nós temos prazer em contar às outras igrejas a perseverança de vocês e a sua plena fé em Deus, apesar de todas as perseguições e tribulações pelas quais vocês estão passando.
Tanto, que nosotros mismos nos gloriamos de vosotros en las iglesias de Dios, de vuestra paciencia y fe en todas vuestras persecuciones y tribulaciones que sufrís:
So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your perseverance and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.
Isso é apenas um exemplo do modo justo e correto como Deus faz as coisas, pois ele está usando os sofrimentos de vocês a fim de prepará-los para o seu Reino,
Una demostración del justo juicio de Dios, para que seáis tenidos por dignos del reino de Dios, por el cual asimismo padecéis.
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.
enquanto ao mesmo tempo está preparando o julgamento e o castigo para aqueles que estão afligindo vocês.
Porque es justo para con Dios pagar con tribulación á los que os atribulan.
Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
For it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,
E portanto eu quero dizer a vocês que estão sofrendo: Deus lhes dará alívio juntamente conosco quando o Senhor Jesus aparecer subitamente, descendo do céu em fogo ardente, com seus poderosos anjos,
Y á vosotros, que sois atribulados, dar reposo con nosotros, cuando se manifestará el Señor Jesús del cielo con los ángeles de su potencia,
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,
trazendo o julgamento sobre aqueles que não querem conhecer a Deus, e que se recusam a aceitar o seu plano de salvá-los por meio de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.
En llama de fuego, para dar el pago á los que no conocieron á Dios, ni obedecen al evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo;
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,
Eles serão castigados numa destruição eterna, expulsos para sempre da presença do Senhor e da glória do seu poder
Los cuales serán castigados de eterna perdición por la presencia del Señor, y por la gloria de su potencia,
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,
quando ele vier para receber louvor e admiração por causa de tudo aquilo que fez por aqueles que creram. E vocês estarão com ele, porque creram na palavra que anunciamos a vocês.
Cuando viniere para ser glorificado en sus santos, y á hacerse admirable en aquel día en todos los que creyeron: (por cuanto nuestro testimonio ha sido creído entre vosotros.)
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints and to be admired among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.
E assim continuamos a orar por vocês, pedindo que o nosso Deus os torne dignos da sua vocação, e cumpra todo o bom propósito e toda boa obra, recompensando-lhes a fé com o seu poder.
Por lo cual, asimismo oramos siempre por vosotros, que nuestro Dios os tenga por dignos de su vocación, é hincha de bondad todo buen intento, y toda obra de fe con potencia,
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
To this end we also pray always for you that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power,
Então, o nome do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo será glorificado por causa dos resultados de vocês. A terna graça do nosso Deus e do Senhor Jesus Cristo tornou tudo isso possível a vocês.
Para que el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea glorificado en vosotros, y vosotros en él, por la gracia de nuestro Dios y del Señor Jesucristo.
