Paulus und Silvanus und Timotheus an die Gemeinde der Thessalonicher in Gott unserem Vater und Herrn Jesus Christus.

PABLO, y Silvano, y Timoteo, á la iglesia de los Tesalonicenses que es en Dios nuestro Padre y en el Señor Jesucristo:

Gnade sei mit euch und Friede von Gott unserem Vater und unserem Herrn Jesus Christus.

Gracia y paz á vosotros de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.

Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Danken müssen wir Gott allezeit um euch, liebe Brüder, wie es sich gebührt, daß euer Glauben immer mehr zunimmt, und die Liebe eines jeglichen unter euch allen gegeneinander wächst,

Debemos siempre dar gracias á Dios de vosotros, hermanos, como es digno, por cuanto vuestra fe va creciendo, y la caridad de cada uno de todos vosotros abunda entre vosotros;

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds,

Also daß wir uns euer rühmen in den Gemeinden Gottes über eurer Beharrlichkeit und eurem Glauben, in allen euren Verfolgungen und Trübsalen, die ihr erduldet;

Tanto, que nosotros mismos nos gloriamos de vosotros en las iglesias de Dios, de vuestra paciencia y fe en todas vuestras persecuciones y tribulaciones que sufrís:

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your perseverance and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.

Was anzeigt, daß Gott gerecht richtet, so daß ihr würdig werdet des Reiches Gottes, über dem ihr auch leidet.

Una demostración del justo juicio de Dios, para que seáis tenidos por dignos del reino de Dios, por el cual asimismo padecéis.

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.

Zumal es gerecht ist vor Gott, daß Er denen, die euch Trübsal bereiten, Trübsal vergelte;

Porque es justo para con Dios pagar con tribulación á los que os atribulan.

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

For it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,

Und euch, die ihr bedrängt werdet, Ruhe mit uns, bei der Offenbarung des Herrn Jesus vom Himmel mit den Engeln Seiner Kraft,

Y á vosotros, que sois atribulados, dar reposo con nosotros, cuando se manifestará el Señor Jesús del cielo con los ángeles de su potencia,

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

In Feuerflammen, Rache nehmend an denen, so Gott nicht erkennen, und die nicht dem Evangelium unseres Herrn Jesus Christus Gehorsam leisten;

En llama de fuego, para dar el pago á los que no conocieron á Dios, ni obedecen al evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo;

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

punishing those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus,

Welche die Strafe erleiden, ewiges Elend von dem Angesichte des Herrn und der Herrlichkeit Seiner Macht,

Los cuales serán castigados de eterna perdición por la presencia del Señor, y por la gloria de su potencia,

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

Wenn Er kommen wird, um in Seinen Heiligen verherrlicht und in allen Gläubigen

Cuando viniere para ser glorificado en sus santos, y á hacerse admirable en aquel día en todos los que creyeron: (por cuanto nuestro testimonio ha sido creído entre vosotros.)

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

when he comes in that day to be glorified in his saints and to be admired among all those who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

Darum beten wir auch allezeit für euch, daß unser Gott euch würdig erachte der Berufung, und jedwedes Wohlgefallen am Guten und das Werk des Glaubens mit Kraft zur Erfüllung bringe;

Por lo cual, asimismo oramos siempre por vosotros, que nuestro Dios os tenga por dignos de su vocación, é hincha de bondad todo buen intento, y toda obra de fe con potencia,

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

To this end we also pray always for you that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power,

Auf daß der Name unseres Herrn Jesus Christus in euch verherrlicht werde, und ihr in Ihm, nach der Gnade unseres Gottes und Herrn Jesus Christus.

Para que el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea glorificado en vosotros, y vosotros en él, por la gracia de nuestro Dios y del Señor Jesucristo.

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
