Or nous vous prions, frères, par la venue de notre seigneur Jésus Christ et par notre rassemblement auprès de lui,

EMPERO os rogamos, hermanos, cuanto á la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y nuestro recogimiento á él,

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him, we ask you

de ne pas vous laisser promptement bouleverser dans vos pensées, ni troubler, ni par esprit, ni par parole, ni par lettre, comme †si c’était par nous, comme si le jour du Seigneur était là.

Que no os mováis fácilmente de vuestro sentimiento, ni os conturbéis ni por espíritu, ni por palabra, ni por carta como nuestra, como que el día del Señor esté cerca.

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

not to be quickly shaken in your mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter as if from us, saying that the day of Christ has already come.

Que personne ne vous séduise en aucune manière, car †ce jour-là ne viendra pas que l’apostasie ne soit arrivée auparavant et que l’homme de péché n’ait été révélé, le fils de perdition,

No os engañe nadie en ninguna manera; porque no vendrá sin que venga antes la apostasía, y se manifieste el hombre de pecado, el hijo de perdición,

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction.

qui s’oppose et s’élève contre tout ce qui est appelé Dieu ou qui est un objet de vénération, en sorte que lui-même s’assiéra au temple de Dieu, se présentant lui-même comme étant Dieu.

Oponiéndose, y levantándose contra todo lo que se llama Dios, ó que se adora; tanto que se asiente en el templo de Dios como Dios, haciéndose parecer Dios.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.

Ne vous souvenez-vous pas que, quand j’étais encore auprès de vous, je vous disais ces choses ?

¿No os acordáis que cuando estaba todavía con vosotros, os decía esto?

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Don’t you remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things?

Et maintenant vous savez ce qui retient pour qu’il soit révélé en son propre temps.

Y ahora vosotros sabéis lo que impide, para que á su tiempo se manifieste.

And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

Car le mystère d’iniquité opère déjà ; seulement celui qui retient maintenant, †le fera jusqu’à ce qu’il soit loin.

Porque ya está obrando el misterio de iniquidad: solamente espera hasta que sea quitado de en medio el que ahora impide;

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

Et alors sera révélé l’inique, que le seigneur Jésus consumera par le souffle de sa bouche et qu’il anéantira par l’apparition de sa venue ;

Y entonces será manifestado aquel inicuo, al cual el Señor matará con el espíritu de su boca, y destruirá con el resplandor de su venida;

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;

duquel la venue est selon l’opération de Satan, en toute sorte de miracles et signes et prodiges de mensonge,

A aquel inicuo, cuyo advenimiento es según operación de Satanás, con grande potencia, y señales, y milagros mentirosos,

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

et en toute séduction d’injustice pour ceux qui périssent, parce qu’ils n’ont pas reçu l’amour de la vérité pour être sauvés.

Y con todo engaño de iniquidad en los que perecen; por cuanto no recibieron el amor de la verdad para ser salvos.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Et à cause de cela, Dieu leur envoie une énergie d’erreur pour qu’ils croient au mensonge,

Por tanto, pues, les envía Dios operación de error, para que crean á la mentira;

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Because of this, God sends them a powerful delusion, that they should believe a lie,

afin que tous ceux-là soient jugés qui n’ont pas cru la vérité, mais qui ont pris plaisir à l’injustice.

Para que sean condenados todos los que no creyeron á la verdad, antes consintieron á la iniquidad.

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

that they all might be judged who didn’t believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Mais nous, nous devons toujours rendre grâces à Dieu pour vous, frères aimés du Seigneur, de ce que Dieu vous a choisis dès le commencement pour le salut, dans la sainteté de l’Esprit et la foi de la vérité,

Mas nosotros debemos dar siempre gracias á Dios por vosotros, hermanos amados del Señor, de que Dios os haya escogido desde el principio para salud, por la santificación del Espíritu y fe de la verdad:

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,

à quoi il vous a appelés par notre évangile, pour que vous obteniez la gloire de notre seigneur Jésus Christ.

A lo cual os llamó por nuestro evangelio, para alcanzar la gloria de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ainsi donc, frères, demeurez fermes, et retenez les enseignements que vous avez appris soit par parole, soit par notre lettre.

Así que, hermanos, estad firmes, y retened la doctrina que habéis aprendido, sea por palabra, ó por carta nuestra.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

So then, brothers, stand firm and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word or by letter.

Or notre seigneur Jésus Christ lui-même, et notre Dieu et Père, qui nous a aimés et †nous a donné une consolation éternelle et une bonne espérance par grâce,

Y el mismo Señor nuestro Jesucristo, y Dios y Padre nuestro, el cual nos amó, y nos dió consolación eterna, y buena esperanza por gracia,

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

veuille consoler vos cœurs et †vous affermir en toute bonne œuvre et en toute bonne parole.

Consuele vuestros corazones, y os confirme en toda buena palabra y obra.

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.
