Wir bitten euch aber, Brüder, in betreff der Wiederkunft unseres Herrn Jesus Christus und unserer Hinführung zu Ihm,

EMPERO os rogamos, hermanos, cuanto á la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, y nuestro recogimiento á él,

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him, we ask you

Daß ihr euch nicht sogleich abwenden lasset aus eurer Gesinnung, noch beunruhigen durch einen Geist, noch durch Wort, noch durch Schreiben, als von uns kommend, als ob der Tag des Herrn nahe bevorstehe.

Que no os mováis fácilmente de vuestro sentimiento, ni os conturbéis ni por espíritu, ni por palabra, ni por carta como nuestra, como que el día del Señor esté cerca.

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

not to be quickly shaken in your mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter as if from us, saying that the day of Christ has already come.

Laßt euch von niemand irgendwie verführen; denn erst muß der Abfall kommen, und der Mensch der Sünde, der Sohn des Verderbens, offenbar werden,

No os engañe nadie en ninguna manera; porque no vendrá sin que venga antes la apostasía, y se manifieste el hombre de pecado, el hijo de perdición,

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction.

Welcher sich auflehnt und erhebt über alles, was Gott und Anbetung heißt, und sich als Gott in den Tempel Gottes setzt und sich selbst für Gott erklärt.

Oponiéndose, y levantándose contra todo lo que se llama Dios, ó que se adora; tanto que se asiente en el templo de Dios como Dios, haciéndose parecer Dios.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.

Gedenkt ihr noch, daß ich euch solches sagte, als ich noch bei euch war?

¿No os acordáis que cuando estaba todavía con vosotros, os decía esto?

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Don’t you remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things?

Auch wißt ihr, was es noch aufhält, daß Er in Seiner Zeit Sich offenbart.

Y ahora vosotros sabéis lo que impide, para que á su tiempo se manifieste.

And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

Denn das Geheimnis der Ruchlosigkeit ist schon in Wirksamkeit, bis nur erst der, so es aufhält, aus dem Wege ist,

Porque ya está obrando el misterio de iniquidad: solamente espera hasta que sea quitado de en medio el que ahora impide;

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

Und dann wird der Ruchlose offenbar werden, den der Herr mit dem Hauche Seines Mundes vertilgen und durch die Erscheinung Seiner Gegenwart zunichte machen wird.

Y entonces será manifestado aquel inicuo, al cual el Señor matará con el espíritu de su boca, y destruirá con el resplandor de su venida;

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;

Seine Ankunft aber geschieht nach der Wirksamkeit des Satans in allerlei Lügenkraft, in Zeichen und Wundern,

A aquel inicuo, cuyo advenimiento es según operación de Satanás, con grande potencia, y señales, y milagros mentirosos,

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Und mit allerlei Verführung zur Ungerechtigkeit unter den Verlorenen, dafür, daß sie die Liebe zur Wahrheit nicht aufkommen ließen, auf daß sie gerettet würden.

Y con todo engaño de iniquidad en los que perecen; por cuanto no recibieron el amor de la verdad para ser salvos.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Und darum wird Gott über sie die Kraft der Verführung kommen lassen, so daß sie der Lüge glauben;

Por tanto, pues, les envía Dios operación de error, para que crean á la mentira;

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Because of this, God sends them a powerful delusion, that they should believe a lie,

Auf daß gerichtet werden alle, die nicht an die Wahrheit glaubten, sondern an der Ungerechtigkeit Wohlgefallen hatten.

Para que sean condenados todos los que no creyeron á la verdad, antes consintieron á la iniquidad.

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

that they all might be judged who didn’t believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Wir aber müssen allezeit Gott danken für euch, Brüder, die ihr vom Herrn geliebt seid, daß euch Gott von Anfang an durch die Heiligung des Geistes zur Seligkeit auserwählt hat.

Mas nosotros debemos dar siempre gracias á Dios por vosotros, hermanos amados del Señor, de que Dios os haya escogido desde el principio para salud, por la santificación del Espíritu y fe de la verdad:

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

But we are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,

Wozu Er euch berufen hat durch unser Evangelium, auf daß ihr zur Herrlichkeit unseres Herrn Jesus Christus gelangen könnt.

A lo cual os llamó por nuestro evangelio, para alcanzar la gloria de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So steht nun fest, Brüder, und haltet an den Überlieferungen, die ihr durch unser Wort oder durch Briefe gelehrt worden seid.

Así que, hermanos, estad firmes, y retened la doctrina que habéis aprendido, sea por palabra, ó por carta nuestra.

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

So then, brothers, stand firm and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word or by letter.

Er aber, unser Herr Jesus Christus und Gott und unser Vater, Der uns geliebt und ewigen Beistand und gute Hoffnung nach Seiner Gnade verliehen hat,

Y el mismo Señor nuestro Jesucristo, y Dios y Padre nuestro, el cual nos amó, y nos dió consolación eterna, y buena esperanza por gracia,

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

Der tröste eure Herzen und befestige euch in jeglichem guten Wort und Werk.

Consuele vuestros corazones, y os confirme en toda buena palabra y obra.

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
