Au reste, frères, priez pour nous, afin que la Parole du Seigneur poursuive sa course et soit glorifiée, comme elle l'est aussi parmi vous ;

RESTA, hermanos, que oréis por nosotros, que la palabra del Señor corra y sea glorificada así como entre vosotros:

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,

et que nous soyons délivrés des hommes déréglés et méchants ; car tous n'ont pas la foi.

Y que seamos librados de hombres importunos y malos; porque no es de todos la fe.

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.

Mais le Seigneur est fidèle, qui vous affermira et vous préservera du mal.

Mas fiel es el Señor, que os confirmará y guardará del mal.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

Et nous avons cette confiance en vous dans le Seigneur, que vous faites et que vous ferez les choses que nous vous recommandons.

Y tenemos confianza de vosotros en el Señor, que hacéis y haréis lo que os hemos mandado.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.

Mais que le Seigneur dirige vos cœurs vers l'amour de Dieu et vers la patience de Christ !

Y el Señor enderece vuestros corazones en el amor de Dios, y en la paciencia de Cristo.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.

Or, nous vous recommandons, frères, au nom de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, de vous retirer d'avec tout frère qui vit d'une manière déréglée, et non selon l'enseignement qu'ils ont reçu de nous.

Empero os denunciamos, hermanos, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que os apartéis de todo hermano que anduviere fuera de orden, y no conforme á la doctrina que recibieron de nosotros:

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.

Car vous savez vous-mêmes comment vous devez nous imiter, puisque nous ne nous sommes point conduits d'une manière déréglée parmi vous,

Porque vosotros mismos sabéis de qué manera debéis imitarnos: porque no anduvimos desordenadamente entre vosotros,

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,

et que nous n'avons mangé gratuitement le pain de personne ; mais, dans la fatigue et dans la peine, travaillant nuit et jour, pour n'être à charge à aucun de vous.

Ni comimos el pan de ninguno de balde; antes, obrando con trabajo y fatiga de noche y de día, por no ser gravosos á ninguno de vosotros;

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.

Ce n'est pas que nous n'en eussions le droit ; mais c'est pour nous donner nous-mêmes en exemple à vous, afin que vous nous imitiez.

No porque no tuviésemos potestad, sino por daros en nosotros un dechado, para que nos imitaseis.

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

This was not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.

Et en effet, lorsque nous étions auprès de vous, nous vous déclarions ceci, que si quelqu'un ne veut pas travailler, il ne doit pas non plus manger.

Porque aun estando con vosotros, os denunciábamos esto: Que si alguno no quisiere trabajar, tampoco coma.

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.”

Car nous apprenons qu'il y en a quelques-uns parmi vous qui vivent d'une manière déréglée, qui ne travaillent point, mais s'occupent de choses vaines.

Porque oímos que andan algunos entre vosotros fuera de orden, no trabajando en nada, sino ocupados en curiosear.

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.

Or nous recommandons à ceux qui sont tels, et nous les exhortons dans le Seigneur Jésus-Christ, que, travaillant paisiblement, ils mangent leur propre pain.

Y á los tales requerimos y rogamos por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que, trabajando con reposo, coman su pan.

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.

Mais pour vous, frères, ne vous découragez pas en faisant le bien.

Y vosotros, hermanos, no os canséis de hacer bien.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.

Et si quelqu'un n'obéit point à ce que nous vous disons par cette lettre, signalez-le, et n'ayez point de communication avec lui, afin qu'il en ait de la confusion.

Y si alguno no obedeciere á nuestra palabra por carta, notad al tal, y no os juntéis con él, para que se avergüence.

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.

Toutefois ne le regardez pas comme un ennemi, mais avertissez-le comme un frère.

Mas no lo tengáis como á enemigo, sino amonestadle como á hermano.

Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Or, que lui-même, le Seigneur de la paix, vous donne la paix en tout temps, de toute manière ! Le Seigneur soit avec vous tous !

Y el mismo Señor de paz os dé siempre paz en toda manera. El Señor sea con todos vosotros.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

La salutation est de ma propre main, à moi Paul, ce qui est un signe en chaque lettre ; j'écris ainsi.

Salud de mi mano, Pablo, que es mi signo en toda carta mía: así escribo.

The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter. This is how I write.

La grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec vous tous !

La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos vosotros. Amén. La segunda Epístola á los Tesalonicenses fué escrita de Atenas.
