1Por lo demás, hermanos míos, oren por nosotros para que la palabra del Señor avance con mayor gloria;
2Y para que seamos liberados de los hombres necios y malvados; porque no todos tienen fe.
3Pero el Señor es verdadero, quien les dará fortaleza y los mantendrá a salvo del mal.
4Y tenemos fe en el Señor acerca de ustedes, que están haciendo y harán las cosas que les hemos mandado.
5Y que sus corazones sean guiados por el Señor para que comprendan que profundo es el amor de Dios por ustedes y a la paciencia de Cristo.
6Ahora les damos órdenes, hermanos, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, para mantenernos alejados de todos aquellos cuyo comportamiento no está bien ordenado y en armonía con la enseñanza que recibieron de nosotros.
7Ustedes mismos están acostumbrados a tomarnos como ejemplo, porque nuestra vida entre ustedes fue gobernada por orden,
8Y no tomamos comida de ningún hombre por nada, sino que trabajamos duro noche y día para no ser una carga a ninguno de ustedes:
9No porque no tengamos el derecho, sino para convertirnos en un ejemplo para que ustedes puedan hacer lo mismo.
10Porque aun cuando estábamos con ustedes, les dimos órdenes, diciendo: Si alguno no quisiera trabajar, que tampoco coma.
11Porque ha llegado a nuestros oídos que hay algunos entre ustedes cuyo comportamiento es descontrolado, que no trabajan en absoluto, pero están demasiado interesados en los asuntos de los demás.
12Ahora, a los tales, damos órdenes y exhortamos pedimos en el Señor Jesús que, trabajen tranquilamente , y para ganarse la vida.
13Y ustedes, mis hermanos, no se cansen de hacer el bien.
14Y si alguno no presta atención a lo que hemos dicho en esta carta, toma nota de ese hombre, y aléjate de él, para que se avergüence.
15No lo tengan por enemigo, pero corríjanlo como hermano.
16Ahora el Señor de la paz mismo te dará paz en todo tiempo y en todo sentido. Que el Señor esté con todos ustedes.
17Estas palabras de amor para ustedes al final están en mi puño y letra , así firmo todas mis cartas , y esta es la marca de cada carta mía.
18La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos ustedes.

1RESTA, hermanos, que oréis por nosotros, que la palabra del Señor corra y sea glorificada así como entre vosotros:
2Y que seamos librados de hombres importunos y malos; porque no es de todos la fe.
3Mas fiel es el Señor, que os confirmará y guardará del mal.
4Y tenemos confianza de vosotros en el Señor, que hacéis y haréis lo que os hemos mandado.
5Y el Señor enderece vuestros corazones en el amor de Dios, y en la paciencia de Cristo.
6Empero os denunciamos, hermanos, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que os apartéis de todo hermano que anduviere fuera de orden, y no conforme á la doctrina que recibieron de nosotros:
7Porque vosotros mismos sabéis de qué manera debéis imitarnos: porque no anduvimos desordenadamente entre vosotros,
8Ni comimos el pan de ninguno de balde; antes, obrando con trabajo y fatiga de noche y de día, por no ser gravosos á ninguno de vosotros;
9No porque no tuviésemos potestad, sino por daros en nosotros un dechado, para que nos imitaseis.
10Porque aun estando con vosotros, os denunciábamos esto: Que si alguno no quisiere trabajar, tampoco coma.
11Porque oímos que andan algunos entre vosotros fuera de orden, no trabajando en nada, sino ocupados en curiosear.
12Y á los tales requerimos y rogamos por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que, trabajando con reposo, coman su pan.
13Y vosotros, hermanos, no os canséis de hacer bien.
14Y si alguno no obedeciere á nuestra palabra por carta, notad al tal, y no os juntéis con él, para que se avergüence.
15Mas no lo tengáis como á enemigo, sino amonestadle como á hermano.
16Y el mismo Señor de paz os dé siempre paz en toda manera. El Señor sea con todos vosotros.
17Salud de mi mano, Pablo, que es mi signo en toda carta mía: así escribo.
18La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos vosotros. Amén. La segunda Epístola á los Tesalonicenses fué escrita de Atenas.

1Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
4And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
5And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
6Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
7For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
8Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
9Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
10For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
11For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
12Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
14And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
15Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
17The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

1Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,
2and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
3But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
4We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
5May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.
6Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.
7For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,
8neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.
9This was not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
10For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.”
11For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.
12Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
13But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.
14If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
15Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
17I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter. This is how I write.
