Portanto, irmãos, orai por nós para que a Palavra do Senhor possa se espalhar rapidamente e seja glorificada, do mesmo modo que é convosco,
RESTA, hermanos, que oréis por nosotros, que la palabra del Señor corra y sea glorificada así como entre vosotros:
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,
e para que sejamos livres de pessoas perversas e más, pois nem todos tem fé.
Y que seamos librados de hombres importunos y malos; porque no es de todos la fe.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
Mas o Senhor é fiel e vos fortalecerá e guardará do maligno.

Nós temos confiança no Senhor a respeito de vós, de que fazeis e continuareis a fazer o que vos ordenamos.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

Que o Senhor possa conduzir os vossos corações ao amor de Deus e para a perseverança de Cristo.
Y el Señor enderece vuestros corazones en el amor de Dios, y en la paciencia de Cristo.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.
Portanto irmãos, vos ordenamos em nome do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, que eviteis aqueles irmãos que vivem ociosos e não de acordo com as tradições que recebestes de nós.
Empero os denunciamos, hermanos, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que os apartéis de todo hermano que anduviere fuera de orden, y no conforme á la doctrina que recibieron de nosotros:
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.
Pois vós mesmos sabeis que deveis nos imitar. Nós não nos comportamos de maneira indisciplinada entre vós,
Porque vosotros mismos sabéis de qué manera debéis imitarnos: porque no anduvimos desordenadamente entre vosotros,
For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,
e não comemos a comida de ninguém sem pagar. Pelo contrário, em esforço e dificuldade trabalhamos noite e dia, para que não nos tornássemos pesados para nenhum de vós.
Ni comimos el pan de ninguno de balde; antes, obrando con trabajo y fatiga de noche y de día, por no ser gravosos á ninguno de vosotros;
Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.
Não é porque não temos autoridade, mas porque devemos servir de exemplo para vós, para que, assim, vós possais nos imitar.
No porque no tuviésemos potestad, sino por daros en nosotros un dechado, para que nos imitaseis.
Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
This was not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
Quando estávamos convosco, vos ordenamos isto: "Se alguém não quer trabalhar, este não deve comer".
Porque aun estando con vosotros, os denunciábamos esto: Que si alguno no quisiere trabajar, tampoco coma.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.”
Pois ouvimos que alguns andam desocupados entre vós; eles não trabalham, mas, ao contrário, são intrometidos.
Porque oímos que andan algunos entre vosotros fuera de orden, no trabajando en nada, sino ocupados en curiosear.
For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.
Portanto lhes ordenamos e exortamos em nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo que, com sossego, possam trabalhar e comer sua própria comida.
Y á los tales requerimos y rogamos por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que, trabajando con reposo, coman su pan.
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
Porém vós, irmãos, não desanimeis de fazer o bem.
Y vosotros, hermanos, no os canséis de hacer bien.
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.
Se alguém não obedece nossa palavra nesta carta, marque-o e não vos associeis a ele, a fim de que, dessa maneira, ele possa ser envergonhado.
Y si alguno no obedeciere á nuestra palabra por carta, notad al tal, y no os juntéis con él, para que se avergüence.
And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
Não o considereis como inimigo, mas exortai-o como irmão.
Mas no lo tengáis como á enemigo, sino amonestadle como á hermano.

Que o próprio Senhor da paz vos dê a paz em todo tempo e de todas as formas. Que o Senhor seja com todos vós.
