Das aber sollst du wissen, daß in den letzten Tagen schwere Zeiten eintreten werden.

ESTO también sepas, que en los postreros días vendrán tiempos peligrosos:

Que habrá hombres amadores de sí mismos, avaros, vanagloriosos, soberbios, detractores, desobedientes á los padres, ingratos, sin santidad,

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

lieblos, unversöhnlich, verleumderisch, unenthaltsam, zuchtlos, dem Guten feind,

Sin afecto, desleales, calumniadores, destemplados, crueles, aborrecedores de lo bueno,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,

treulos, leichtsinnig, aufgeblasen, das Vergnügen mehr liebend als Gott;

Traidores, arrebatados, hinchados, amadores de los deleites más que de Dios;

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

dabei haben sie den Schein von Gottseligkeit, deren Kraft aber verleugnen sie. Solche meide!

Teniendo apariencia de piedad, mas habiendo negado la eficacia de ella: y á éstos evita.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Denn zu diesen gehören die, welche sich in die Häuser einschleichen und Weiblein gefangennehmen, die mit Sünden beladen sind und von mancherlei Lüsten umgetrieben werden,

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

immerdar lernen und doch nie zur Erkenntnis der Wahrheit kommen können.

Que siempre aprenden, y nunca pueden acabar de llegar al conocimiento de la verdad.

Gleicherweise aber, wie Jannes und Jambres dem Mose widerstanden, so widerstehen auch diese der Wahrheit; es sind Menschen zerrütteten Sinnes, untüchtig zum Glauben.

Y de la manera que Jannes y Jambres resistieron á Moisés, así también éstos resisten á la verdad; hombres corruptos de entendimiento, réprobos acerca de la fe.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Aber sie werden es nicht mehr viel weiter bringen; denn ihre Torheit wird jedermann offenbar werden, wie es auch bei jenen der Fall war.

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

in den Verfolgungen, in den Leiden, wie sie mir in Antiochia, in Ikonium und Lystra widerfahren sind. Solche Verfolgungen habe ich ausgehalten, und aus allen hat mich der Herr errettet!

Persecuciones, aflicciones, cuales me sobrevinieron en Antioquía, en Iconio, en Listra, cuales persecuciones he sufrido; y de todas me ha librado el Señor.

Und alle, die gottselig leben wollen in Christus Jesus, müssen Verfolgung leiden.

Schlechte Menschen aber und Betrüger werden es immer schlimmer treiben, da sie verführen und sich verführen lassen.

Mas los malos hombres y los engañadores, irán de mal en peor, engañando y siendo engañados.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Du aber bleibe in dem, was du gelernt hast und was dir anvertraut ist, da du weißt, von wem du es gelernt hast,

Empero persiste tú en lo que has aprendido y te persuadiste, sabiendo de quién has aprendido;

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

weil du von Kindheit an die heiligen Schriften kennst, welche dich weise machen können zum Heil durch den Glauben in Christus Jesus.

Y que desde la niñez has sabido las Sagradas Escrituras, las cuales te pueden hacer sabio para la salud por la fe que es en Cristo Jesús.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

damit der Mensch Gottes vollkommen sei, zu jedem guten Werke ausgerüstet.

Para que el hombre de Dios sea perfecto, enteramente instruído para toda buena obra.

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
