Personne ne m’a assisté dans ma première défense, mais tous m’ont abandonné ; toutefois que cela ne leur soit point imputé !

En mi primera defensa ninguno me ayudó, antes me desampararon todos: no les sea imputado.

At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.
