OR gli apostoli, ed i fratelli ch'erano per la Giudea, intesero che i Gentili aveano anch'essi ricevuta la parola di Dio.

Y OYERON los apóstoles y los hermanos que estaban en Judea, que también los Gentiles habían recibido la palabra de Dios.

And the apostles and brethren that were in Judæa heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

Now the apostles and the brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

E quando Pietro fu salito in Gerusalemme, que' della circoncisione quistionavano con lui, dicendo:

Y como Pedro subió á Jerusalem, contendían contra él los que eran de la circuncisión,

And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

When Peter had come up to Jerusalem, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,

Tu sei entrato in casa d'uomini incirconcisi, ed hai mangiato con loro.

Diciendo: ¿Por qué has entrado á hombres incircuncisos, y has comido con ellos?

Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

saying, “You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them!”

Ma Pietro, cominciato da capo, dichiarò loro per ordine tutto il fatto, dicendo:

Entonces comenzando Pedro, les declaró por orden lo pasado, diciendo:

But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

But Peter began, and explained to them in order, saying,

Io era nella città di Ioppe, orando; ed in ratto di mente vidi una visione, cioè una certa vela, simile ad un gran lenzuolo, il quale scendeva, essendo per li quattro capi calato giù dal cielo; ed esso venne fino a me.

Estaba yo en la ciudad de Joppe orando, y vi en rapto de entendimiento una visión: un vaso, como un gran lienzo, que descendía, que por los cuatro cabos era abajado del cielo, y venía hasta mí.

I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

“I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain container descending, like it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. It came as far as me.

Ed io, riguardando fiso in esso, scorsi, e vidi degli animali terrestri a quattro piedi, delle fiere, dei rettili, e degli uccelli del cielo.

En el cual como puse los ojos, consideré y vi animales terrestres de cuatro pies, y fieras, y reptiles, y aves del cielo.

Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

When I had looked intently at it, I considered, and saw the four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky.

E udii una voce che mi diceva: Pietro, levati, ammazza e mangia.

Y oí una voz que me decía: Levántate, Pedro, mata y come.

And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

I also heard a voice saying to me, ‘Rise, Peter, kill and eat!’

Ma io dissi: Non già, Signore; poichè nulla d'immondo, o di contaminato, mi è giammai entrato in bocca.

Y dije: Señor, no; porque ninguna cosa común ó inmunda entró jamás en mi boca.

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

But I said, ‘Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.’

E la voce mi rispose la seconda volta dal cielo: Le cose che Iddio ha purificate, tu non farle immonde.

Entonces la voz me respondió del cielo segunda vez: Lo que Dios limpió, no lo llames tú común.

But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

But a voice answered me the second time out of heaven, ‘What God has cleansed, don’t you call unclean.’

E ciò avvenne per tre volte; poi ogni cosa fu di nuovo ritratta in cielo.

Y esto fué hecho por tres veces: y volvió todo á ser tomado arriba en el cielo.

And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

Ed ecco, in quello stante tre uomini furono alla casa ove io era, mandati a me da Cesarea.

Y he aquí, luego sobrevinieron tres hombres á la casa donde yo estaba, enviados á mí de Cesarea.

And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Cæsarea unto me.

Behold, immediately three men stood before the house where I was, having been sent from Caesarea to me.

E lo Spirito mi disse che io andassi con loro, senza farne alcuna difficoltà. Or vennero ancora meco questi sei fratelli, e noi entrammo nella casa di quell'uomo.

Y el Espíritu me dijo que fuese con ellos sin dudar. Y vinieron también conmigo estos seis hermanos, y entramos en casa de un varón,

And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:

The Spirit told me to go with them without discriminating. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house.

Ed egli ci raccontò come egli avea veduto in casa sua un angelo, che si era presentato a lui, e gli avea detto: Manda uomini in Ioppe, e fa' chiamare Simone, che è soprannominato Pietro;

El cual nos contó cómo había visto un ángel en su casa, que se paró, y le dijo: Envía á Joppe, y haz venir á un Simón que tiene por sobrenombre Pedro;

And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying to him, ‘Send to Joppa and get Simon, who is called Peter,

il quale ti ragionerà delle cose, per le quali sarai salvato tu, e tutta la casa tua.

El cual te hablará palabras por las cuales serás salvo tú, y toda tu casa.

Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.’

Ora, come io avea cominciato a parlare, lo Spirito Santo cadde sopra loro, come era caduto ancora sopra noi dal principio.

Y como comencé á hablar, cayó el Espíritu Santo sobre ellos también, como sobre nosotros al principio.

And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Ed io mi ricordai della parola del Signore, come egli diceva: Giovanni ha battezzato con acqua, ma voi sarete battezzati con lo Spirito Santo.

Entonces me acordé del dicho del Señor, como dijo: Juan ciertamente bautizó en agua; mas vosotros seréis bautizados en Espíritu Santo.

Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit.’

Dunque, poichè Iddio ha loro dato il dono pari come a noi ancora, che abbiam creduto nel Signore Gesù Cristo, chi era io da potere impedire Iddio?

Así que, si Dios les dió el mismo don también como á nosotros que hemos creído en el Señor Jesucristo, ¿quién era yo que pudiese estorbar á Dios?

Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

If then God gave to them the same gift as us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?”

Allora essi, udite queste cose, si acquetarono, e glorificarono Iddio, dicendo: Iddio adunque ha dato il ravvedimento eziandio a' Gentili, per ottener vita?

Entonces, oídas estas cosas, callaron, y glorificaron á Dios, diciendo: De manera que también á los Gentiles ha dado Dios arrepentimiento para vida.

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

OR coloro ch'erano stati dispersi per la tribolazione avvenuta per Stefano, passarono fino in Fenicia, in Cipri, e in Antiochia, non annunziando ad alcuno la parola, se non a' Giudei soli.

Y los que habían sido esparcidos por causa de la tribulación que sobrevino en tiempo de Esteban, anduvieron hasta Fenicia, y Cipro, y Antioquía, no hablando á nadie la palabra, sino sólo á los Judíos.

Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

They therefore who were scattered abroad by the oppression that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews only.

Or di loro ve n'erano alcuni Ciprioti, e Cirenei, i quali, entrati in Antiochia, parlavano a' Greci, evangelizzando il Signore Gesù.

Y de ellos había unos varones Ciprios y Cirenenses, los cuales como entraron en Antioquía, hablaron á los Griegos, anunciando el evangelio del Señor Jesús.

And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.

E la mano del Signore era con loro; e gran numero di gente, avendo creduto, si convertì al Signore.

Y la mano del Señor era con ellos: y creyendo, gran número se convirtió al Señor.

And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

E la fama di loro venne agli orecchi della chiesa ch' era in Gerusalemme; laonde mandarono Barnaba, acciocchè passasse fino in Antiochia.

Y llegó la fama de estas cosas á oídos de la iglesia que estaba en Jerusalem: y enviaron á Bernabé que fuese hasta Antioquía.

Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

The report concerning them came to the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem. They sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch,

Ed esso, essendovi giunto, e veduta la grazia del Signore, si rallegrò; e confortava tutti di attenersi al Signore, con fermo proponimento di cuore.

El cual, como llegó, y vió la gracia de Dios, regocijóse; y exhortó á todos á que permaneciesen en el propósito del corazón en el Señor.

Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Perciocchè egli era uomo da bene, e pieno di Spirito Santo, e di fede. E gran moltitudine fu aggiunta al Signore.

Porque era varón bueno, y lleno de Espíritu Santo y de fe: y mucha compañía fué agregada al Señor.

For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

Poi Barnaba si partì, per andare in Tarso, a ricercar Saulo; ed avendolo trovato, lo menò in Antiochia.

Después partió Bernabé á Tarso á buscar á Saulo; y hallado, le trajo á Antioquía.

Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

Barnabas went out to Tarsus to look for Saul.

Ed avvenne che per lo spazio di un anno intiero, essi si raunarono nella chiesa, ed ammaestrarono un gran popolo; e i discepoli primieramente in Antiochia furono nominati Cristiani.

Y conversaron todo un año allí con la iglesia, y enseñaron á mucha gente; y los discípulos fueron llamados Cristianos primeramente en Antioquía.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Or in que' giorni certi profeti scesero di Gerusalemme in Antiochia.

Y en aquellos días descendieron de Jerusalem profetas á Antioquía.

And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

Now in these days, prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.

E un di loro, chiamato per nome Agabo, levatosi, significò per lo Spirito che una gran fame sarebbe in tutto il mondo; la quale ancora avvenne sotto Claudio Cesare.

Y levantándose uno de ellos, llamado Agabo, daba á entender por Espíritu, que había de haber una grande hambre en toda la tierra habitada: la cual hubo en tiempo de Claudio.

And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Cæsar.

One of them named Agabus stood up and indicated by the Spirit that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius.

Laonde i discepoli, ciascuno secondo le sue facoltà, determinarono di mandar a fare una sovvenzione a' fratelli che abitavano nella Giudea;

Entonces los discípulos, cada uno conforme á lo que tenía, determinaron enviar subsidio á los hermanos que habitaban en Judea:

Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judæa:

As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Judea;

il che ancora fecero, mandando quella agli anziani per le mani di Barnaba e di Saulo.

Lo cual asimismo hicieron, enviándolo á los ancianos por mano de Bernabé y de Saulo.

Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
