Es waren aber in Antiochien, in der dortigen Versammlung, Propheten und Lehrer: Barnabas und Simeon, genannt Niger, und Luzius von Kyrene, und Manaen, der mit Herodes, dem Vierfürsten, auferzogen war, und Saulus.

HABÍA entonces en la iglesia que estaba en Antioquía, profetas y doctores: Bernabé, y Simón el que se llamaba Niger, y Lucio Cireneo, y Manahén, que había sido criado con Herodes el tetrarca, y Saulo.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Now in the assembly that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Während sie aber dem Herrn dienten und fasteten, sprach der Heilige Geist: Sondert mir nun Barnabas und Saulus zu dem Werk aus, zu dem ich sie berufen habe.

Ministrando pues éstos al Señor, y ayunando, dijo el Espíritu Santo: Apartadme á Bernabé y á Saulo para la obra para la cual los he llamado.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Und als sie in Salamis waren, verkündigten sie das Wort Gottes in den Synagogen der Juden. Sie hatten aber auch Johannes zum Diener.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

El cual estaba con el procónsul Sergio Paulo, varón prudente. Este, llamando á Bernabé y á Saulo, deseaba oir la palabra de Dios.

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

Elymas aber, der Zauberer, (denn so wird sein Name übersetzt) widerstand ihnen und suchte den Prokonsul von dem Glauben abwendig zu machen.

Saulus aber, der auch Paulus heißt, erfüllt mit Heiligem Geist, blickte unverwandt auf ihn hin

und sprach: O du, voll aller List und aller Bosheit, Sohn des Teufels, Feind aller Gerechtigkeit! Willst du nicht aufhören, die geraden Wege des Herrn zu verkehren?

Dijo: Oh, lleno de todo engaño y de toda maldad, hijo del diablo, enemigo de toda justicia, ¿no cesarás de trastornar los caminos rectos del Señor?

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

and said, “You son of the devil, full of all deceit and all cunning, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Und jetzt siehe, die Hand des Herrn ist auf dir! Und du wirst blind sein und die Sonne eine Zeit lang nicht sehen. Und sogleich fiel Dunkel und Finsternis auf ihn; und er tappte umher und suchte solche, die ihn an der Hand leiteten.

Dann, als der Prokonsul sah, was geschehen war, glaubte er, erstaunt über die Lehre des Herrn.

Als aber Paulus und seine Begleiter von Paphos abgefahren waren, kamen sie nach Perge in Pamphylien. Johannes aber sonderte sich von ihnen ab und kehrte nach Jerusalem zurück.

Sie aber zogen von Perge aus hindurch und kamen nach Antiochien in Pisidien; und sie gingen am Tag des Sabbats in die Synagoge und setzten sich.

Aber nach dem Vorlesen des Gesetzes und der Propheten sandten die Vorsteher der Synagoge zu ihnen und sagten: Brüder, wenn in euch irgendein Wort der Ermahnung an das Volk ist, so redet.

Paulus aber stand auf, winkte mit der Hand und sprach: Männer von Israel und die ihr Gott fürchtet, hört:

Der Gott dieses Volkes Israel erwählte unsere Väter und erhöhte das Volk in der Fremdlingschaft im Land Ägypten, und mit erhobenem Arm führte er sie von dort heraus;

und eine Zeit von etwa 40 Jahren pflegte er sie in der Wüste.

Und nach diesem, etwa 450 Jahren, gab er ihnen Richter bis auf Samuel, den Propheten.

And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

Und nachdem er ihn weggetan hatte, erweckte er ihnen David zum König, dem er auch Zeugnis gab und sprach: „Ich habe David gefunden, den Sohn Isais, einen Mann nach meinem Herzen, der meinen ganzen Willen tun wird“.

Y quitado aquél, levantóles por rey á David, al que dió también testimonio, diciendo: He hallado á David, hijo de Jessé, varón conforme á mi corazón, el cual hará todo lo que yo quiero.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Aus dessen Nachkommen hat Gott nach Verheißung dem Israel als Erretter Jesus gebracht,

Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

nachdem Johannes, angesichts seines Eintritts, zuvor die Taufe der Buße dem ganzen Volk Israel verkündigt hatte.

And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

Brüder, Söhne des Geschlechts Abrahams, und die unter euch Gott fürchten, euch ist das Wort dieses Heils gesandt.

Varones hermanos, hijos del linaje de Abraham, y los que entre vosotros temen á Dios, á vosotros es enviada la palabra de esta salud.

Denn die in Jerusalem wohnen und ihre Obersten, indem sie diesen nicht erkannten, haben auch die Stimmen der Propheten erfüllt, die jeden Sabbat gelesen werden, indem sie über ihn Gericht hielten.

Porque los que habitaban en Jerusalem, y sus príncipes, no conociendo á éste, y las voces de los profetas que se leen todos los sábados, condenándole, las cumplieron.

For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Und obwohl sie keine Ursache des Todes fanden, baten sie den Pilatus, dass er umgebracht würde.

Y sin hallar en él causa de muerte, pidieron á Pilato que le matasen.

And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.

und er ist mehrere Tage hindurch denen erschienen, die mit ihm hinaufgezogen waren von Galiläa nach Jerusalem, die jetzt seine Zeugen an das Volk sind.

And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

Und wir verkündigen euch die gute Botschaft von der zu den Vätern geschehenen Verheißung,

Y nosotros también os anunciamos el evangelio de aquella promesa que fué hecha á los padres,

And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

We bring you good news of the promise made to the fathers,

dass Gott dieselbe uns, ihren Kindern, erfüllt hat, indem er Jesus erweckte; wie auch in dem zweiten Psalm geschrieben steht: „Du bist mein Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeugt“.

La cual Dios ha cumplido á los hijos de ellos, á nosotros, resucitando á Jesús: como también en el salmo segundo está escrito: Mi hijo eres tú, yo te he engendrado hoy.

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

that God has fulfilled this to us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second psalm, ‘You are my Son. Today I have become your father.’

Dass er ihn aber aus den Toten auferweckt hat, um nicht mehr zur Verwesung zurückzukehren, hat er so ausgesprochen: „Ich werde euch die gewissen Gnaden Davids geben“.

Y que le levantó de los muertos para nunca más volver á corrupción, así lo dijo: Os daré las misericordias fieles de David.

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

Deshalb sagt er auch an einer anderen Stelle: „Du wirst nicht zugeben, dass dein Frommer die Verwesung sehe“.

Por eso dice también en otro lugar: No permitirás que tu Santo vea corrupción.

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Therefore he says also in another psalm, ‘You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.’

Denn David freilich, als er zu seiner Zeit dem Willen Gottes gedient hatte, entschlief und wurde zu seinen Vätern beigesetzt und sah die Verwesung.

Porque á la verdad David, habiendo servido en su edad á la voluntad de Dios, durmió, y fué juntado con sus padres, y vió corrupción:

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, was laid with his fathers, and saw decay.

Der aber, den Gott auferweckt hat, sah die Verwesung nicht.

Mas aquel que Dios levantó, no vió corrupción.

But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

But he whom God raised up saw no decay.

So sei es euch nun kund, Brüder, dass durch diesen euch Vergebung der Sünden verkündigt wird;

Séaos pues notorio, varones hermanos, que por éste os es anunciada remisión de pecados;

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

und von allem, wovon ihr im Gesetz Moses nicht gerechtfertigt werden konntet, wird in diesem jeder Glaubende gerechtfertigt.

Y de todo lo que por la ley de Moisés no pudisteis ser justificados, en éste es justificado todo aquel que creyere.

Seht nun zu, dass nicht über †euch komme, was in den Propheten gesagt ist:

Mirad, pues, que no venga sobre vosotros lo que está dicho en los profetas;

Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

„Seht, ihr Verächter, und verwundert euch und verschwindet; denn ich wirke ein Werk in euren Tagen, ein Werk, das ihr nicht glauben werdet, wenn es euch jemand erzählt“.

Mirad, oh menospreciadores, y entonteceos, y desvaneceos; porque yo obro una obra en vuestros días, obra que no creeréis, si alguien os la contare.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

‘Behold, you scoffers! Wonder and perish, for I work a work in your days, a work which you will in no way believe, if one declares it to you.’”

Als sie aber hinausgingen, baten sie, dass auf den folgenden Sabbat diese Worte zu ihnen geredet würden.

Y saliendo ellos de la sinagoga de los Judíos, los Gentiles les rogaron que el sábado siguiente les hablasen estas palabras.

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Als aber die Synagoge aus war, folgten viele der Juden und der anbetenden Proselyten dem Paulus und Barnabas, die zu ihnen sprachen und ihnen zuredeten, in der Gnade Gottes zu verharren.

Y despedida la congregación, muchos de los Judíos y de los religiosos prosélitos siguieron á Pablo y á Bernabé; los cuales hablándoles, les persuadían que permaneciesen en la gracia de Dios.

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

Am nächsten Sabbat aber versammelte sich fast die ganze Stadt, um das Wort Gottes zu hören.

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Als aber die Juden die Volksmengen sahen, wurden sie von Eifersucht erfüllt und widersprachen dem, was von Paulus geredet wurde, †widersprechend und lästernd.

Paulus aber und Barnabas gebrauchten Freimütigkeit und sprachen: Zu euch musste notwendig das Wort Gottes zuerst geredet werden; weil ihr es aber von euch stoßt und euch selbst nicht würdig achtet des ewigen Lebens, siehe, so wenden wir uns zu den Nationen.

Entonces Pablo y Bernabé, usando de libertad, dijeron: A vosotros á la verdad era menester que se os hablase la palabra de Dios; mas pues que la desecháis, y os juzgáis indignos de la vida eterna, he aquí, nos volvemos á los Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, “It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Denn so hat uns der Herr geboten: „Ich habe dich zum Licht der Nationen gesetzt, damit du zum Heil seist bis an das Ende der Erde“.

Porque así nos ha mandado el Señor, diciendo: Te he puesto para luz de los Gentiles, para que seas salud hasta lo postrero de la tierra.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’”

Als aber die aus den Nationen es hörten, freuten sie sich und verherrlichten das Wort des Herrn; und es glaubten, so viele ihrer zum ewigen Leben verordnet waren.

Y los Gentiles oyendo esto, fueron gozosos, y glorificaban la palabra del Señor: y creyeron todos los que estaban ordenados para vida eterna.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Das Wort des Herrn aber wurde ausgebreitet durch die ganze Gegend.

Y la palabra del Señor era sembrada por toda aquella provincia.

Die Juden aber erregten die anbetenden vornehmen Frauen und die Ersten der Stadt und erweckten eine Verfolgung gegen Paulus und Barnabas und vertrieben sie aus ihren Grenzen.
