Hechos 13

In Antiochia wirkten damals in der dortigen Gemeinde folgende Propheten und Lehrer: Barnabas, Symeon mit dem Beinamen Niger, Lucius aus Cyrene, Manaën, der mit dem Vierfürsten Herodes erzogen worden war, und Saulus.

HABÍA entonces en la iglesia que estaba en Antioquía, profetas y doctores: Bernabé, y Simón el que se llamaba Niger, y Lucio Cireneo, y Manahén, que había sido criado con Herodes el tetrarca, y Saulo.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Now in the assembly that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Als sie nun einst dem Herrn Gottesdienst hielten und fasteten, gebot der heilige Geist: »Sondert mir doch Barnabas und Saulus für das Werk aus, zu dem ich sie berufen habe!«

Ministrando pues éstos al Señor, y ayunando, dijo el Espíritu Santo: Apartadme á Bernabé y á Saulo para la obra para la cual los he llamado.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

Da fasteten und beteten sie, legten ihnen die Hände auf und ließen sie ziehen.

und verkündigten nach ihrer Ankunft dort in Salamis das Wort Gottes in den Synagogen der Juden; als Gehilfen hatten sie noch Johannes (Markus) bei sich.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

Nachdem sie nun die ganze Insel bis nach Paphos durchzogen hatten, trafen sie dort einen jüdischen Zauberer und falschen Propheten namens Barjesus,

der zu der Umgebung des (römischen) Statthalters Sergius Paulus, eines verständigen Mannes, gehörte. Dieser ließ Barnabas und Saulus zu sich rufen und wünschte von ihnen das Wort Gottes zu hören.

El cual estaba con el procónsul Sergio Paulo, varón prudente. Este, llamando á Bernabé y á Saulo, deseaba oir la palabra de Dios.

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

Da trat aber Elymas, der Zauberer – so lautet nämlich sein Name übersetzt –, ihnen entgegen und suchte den Statthalter vom Glauben abzuhalten.

Mas les resistía Elimas el encantador (que así se interpreta su nombre), procurando apartar de la fe al procónsul.

Saulus aber, der auch Paulus heißt, blickte ihn fest an und sagte, voll heiligen Geistes:

Dijo: Oh, lleno de todo engaño y de toda maldad, hijo del diablo, enemigo de toda justicia, ¿no cesarás de trastornar los caminos rectos del Señor?

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

and said, “You son of the devil, full of all deceit and all cunning, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Jetzt aber kommt die Hand des Herrn über dich: du sollst blind sein und das Sonnenlicht eine Zeitlang nicht sehen!« Da fiel augenblicklich Dunkel und Finsternis auf ihn: er tappte umher und suchte nach jemandem, der ihn an der Hand führen sollte.

Ahora pues, he aquí la mano del Señor es contra ti, y serás ciego, que no veas el sol por tiempo. Y luego cayeron en él obscuridad y tinieblas; y andando alrededor, buscaba quién le condujese por la mano.

Als der Statthalter den Vorgang sah, kam er zum Glauben und war voll Staunens über die (Kraft der) Lehre des Herrn.

Von Paphos gingen Paulus und seine Gefährten wieder in See und kamen nach Perge in Pamphylien; hier trennte sich Johannes von ihnen und kehrte nach Jerusalem zurück.

Y partidos de Papho, Pablo y sus compañeros arribaron á Perge de Pamphylia: entonces Juan, apartándose de ellos, se volvió á Jerusalem.

Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

Sie aber zogen von Perge aus landeinwärts weiter und gelangten nach dem pisidischen Antiochia, wo sie am Sabbattage in die Synagoge gingen und sich dort (auf den für Fremde bestimmten Plätzen) niedersetzten.

Nach der Schriftverlesung aus dem Gesetz und den Propheten ließen ihnen die Vorsteher der Synagoge sagen: »Werte Brüder, wenn ihr eine erbauliche Ansprache an das Volk zu richten habt, so redet!«

Da stand Paulus auf, gab einen Wink mit der Hand und sagte: »Ihr Männer von Israel und ihr, die ihr Gott fürchtet, hört mich an!

Der Gott unsers Volkes Israel hat unsere Väter sich erwählt und unser Volk während seines Aufenthalts in dem fremden Lande Ägypten emporgebracht und sie dann mit hocherhobenem Arm von dort weggeführt.

El Dios del pueblo de Israel escogió á nuestros padres, y ensalzó al pueblo, siendo ellos extranjeros en la tierra de Egipto, y con brazo levantado los sacó de ella.

The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

Während einer Zeit von ungefähr vierzig Jahren hat er sie dann in der Wüste mit schonender Liebe getragen,

das hat ungefähr vierhundertfünfzig Jahre gedauert. Hierauf gab er ihnen Richter bis auf den Propheten Samuel.

Von da an wollten sie einen König haben, und Gott gab ihnen Saul, den Sohn des Kis, einen Mann aus dem Stamme Benjamin, für vierzig Jahre.

Nach dessen Verwerfung erhob er David zum König über sie; ihm hat er dann auch das Zeugnis erteilt: ›Ich habe David gefunden, den Sohn Isais, einen Mann nach meinem Herzen, der in allem meinen Willen tun wird.‹

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Dieser ist’s, aus dessen Nachkommenschaft Gott jetzt nach seiner Verheißung Jesus als Retter für Israel hat hervorgehen lassen,

De la simiente de éste, Dios, conforme á la promesa, levantó á Jesús por Salvador á Israel;

Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

nachdem vor dessen Auftreten Johannes dem ganzen Volk Israel eine Taufe der Buße verkündigt hatte.

Als aber Johannes am Abschluß seiner Laufbahn stand, erklärte er: ›Das, wofür ihr mich haltet, bin ich nicht; doch wisset wohl, nach mir kommt der, für den ich nicht gut genug bin, ihm die Schuhe von den Füßen loszubinden!‹

Werte Brüder, Söhne von Abrahams Geschlecht, und ihr anderen hier, die ihr Gott fürchtet: an uns ist diese Heilsverkündigung ergangen!

Varones hermanos, hijos del linaje de Abraham, y los que entre vosotros temen á Dios, á vosotros es enviada la palabra de esta salud.

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

“Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

Denn die Bewohner Jerusalems und ihre Oberen haben, obwohl sie diesen Jesus nicht erkannten, doch die Aussprüche der Propheten, die an jedem Sabbat zur Verlesung kommen, durch ihr Verdammungsurteil zur Erfüllung gebracht

Porque los que habitaban en Jerusalem, y sus príncipes, no conociendo á éste, y las voces de los profetas que se leen todos los sábados, condenándole, las cumplieron.

For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

und, obwohl sie keine todeswürdige Schuld an ihm fanden, doch seine Hinrichtung von Pilatus verlangt.

Y sin hallar en él causa de muerte, pidieron á Pilato que le matasen.

And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

Nachdem sie schließlich alles ausgeführt hatten, was über ihn in der Schrift steht, haben sie ihn vom Kreuz herabgenommen und ihn in ein Grab gelegt.

Und wir bringen euch die das Heil verkündende Botschaft, daß Gott die Verheißung, die unsern Vätern einst zuteil geworden ist,

And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

für uns, die Nachkommen jener, durch die Auferweckung Jesu zur Erfüllung gebracht hat, wie ja auch im zweiten Psalm geschrieben steht: ›Du bist mein Sohn, ich habe dich heute gezeugt.‹

La cual Dios ha cumplido á los hijos de ellos, á nosotros, resucitando á Jesús: como también en el salmo segundo está escrito: Mi hijo eres tú, yo te he engendrado hoy.

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Daß er ihn aber von den Toten auferweckt hat, um ihn nicht wieder der Verwesung anheimfallen zu lassen, hat er mit den Worten ausgesprochen: ›Ich will euch die heiligen, dem David verheißenen unverbrüchlichen Güter verleihen.‹

Y que le levantó de los muertos para nunca más volver á corrupción, así lo dijo: Os daré las misericordias fieles de David.

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

Darum heißt es auch an einer andern Stelle: ›Du wirst nicht zulassen, daß dein Heiliger die Verwesung sieht.‹

Por eso dice también en otro lugar: No permitirás que tu Santo vea corrupción.

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Therefore he says also in another psalm, ‘You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.’

Denn David selbst ist doch entschlafen, nachdem er zu seiner Zeit dem Willen Gottes gedient hatte: er ist zu seinen Vätern versammelt worden und hat die Verwesung gesehen;

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, was laid with his fathers, and saw decay.

der aber, den Gott auferweckt hat, der hat die Verwesung nicht gesehen.

Mas aquel que Dios levantó, no vió corrupción.

But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

But he whom God raised up saw no decay.

So soll euch denn kundgetan sein, werte Brüder, daß euch durch diesen (Jesus) die Vergebung der Sünden verkündigt wird,

Séaos pues notorio, varones hermanos, que por éste os es anunciada remisión de pecados;

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins;

und von allem, wovon ihr durch das mosaische Gesetz keine Rechtfertigung habt erlangen können, wird in diesem ein jeder gerechtfertigt, der da glaubt.

Y de todo lo que por la ley de Moisés no pudisteis ser justificados, en éste es justificado todo aquel que creyere.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Darum seht wohl zu, daß †bei euch nicht das Prophetenwort zutreffe:

Mirad, pues, que no venga sobre vosotros lo que está dicho en los profetas;

Mirad, oh menospreciadores, y entonteceos, y desvaneceos; porque yo obro una obra en vuestros días, obra que no creeréis, si alguien os la contare.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

‘Behold, you scoffers! Wonder and perish, for I work a work in your days, a work which you will in no way believe, if one declares it to you.’”

Als sie dann die Synagoge verließen, sprach man die Bitte gegen sie aus, sie möchten am nächsten Sabbat von diesen Dingen noch weiter zu ihnen reden.

Y saliendo ellos de la sinagoga de los Judíos, los Gentiles les rogaron que el sábado siguiente les hablasen estas palabras.

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Nachdem nun die Synagogen-Versammlung auseinandergegangen war, folgten viele von den Juden und den gottesfürchtigen Heidenjuden dem Paulus und Barnabas nach; diese redeten ihnen eifrig zu und ermahnten sie, in der Gnade Gottes zu verharren.

Y despedida la congregación, muchos de los Judíos y de los religiosos prosélitos siguieron á Pablo y á Bernabé; los cuales hablándoles, les persuadían que permaneciesen en la gracia de Dios.

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

Am folgenden Sabbat aber fand sich beinahe die ganze Stadt ein, um das Wort Gottes zu hören.

Y el sábado siguiente se juntó casi toda la ciudad á oir la palabra de Dios.

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Als jedoch die Juden die Volksmenge sahen, wurden sie mit Eifersucht erfüllt und widersprachen den Darlegungen des Paulus unter Schmähungen.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Da erklärten ihnen Paulus und Barnabas mit Freimut: »Euch (Juden) mußte das Wort Gottes zuerst verkündigt werden; weil ihr es aber zurückstoßt und euch selbst des ewigen Lebens nicht für würdig erachtet, so wenden wir uns nunmehr zu den Heiden!

Entonces Pablo y Bernabé, usando de libertad, dijeron: A vosotros á la verdad era menester que se os hablase la palabra de Dios; mas pues que la desecháis, y os juzgáis indignos de la vida eterna, he aquí, nos volvemos á los Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, “It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Denn so hat uns der Herr geboten: ›Ich habe dich zum Licht der Heiden gemacht, damit du zum Heil werdest bis ans Ende der Erde.‹«

Porque así nos ha mandado el Señor, diciendo: Te he puesto para luz de los Gentiles, para que seas salud hasta lo postrero de la tierra.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’”

Als die Heiden das hörten, freuten sie sich und priesen das Wort des Herrn; und alle, soweit sie zum ewigen Leben verordnet waren, wurden gläubig.
