Hechos 13

Havia alguns mestres e profetas na igreja em Antioquia. Eram Barnabé, Simeão, chamado Níger, Lúcio de Cirene, Manaém, o irmão adotivo do governante Herodes, e Saulo.

HABÍA entonces en la iglesia que estaba en Antioquía, profetas y doctores: Bernabé, y Simón el que se llamaba Niger, y Lucio Cireneo, y Manahén, que había sido criado con Herodes el tetrarca, y Saulo.

Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Now in the assembly that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Enquanto adoravam ao Senhor e jejuavam, o Espírito Santo disse: "Separai-Me Barnabé e Saulo para a obra que os tenho chamado".

Ministrando pues éstos al Señor, y ayunando, dijo el Espíritu Santo: Apartadme á Bernabé y á Saulo para la obra para la cual los he llamado.

As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”

Após jejuarem, orarem e imporem as suas mãos sobre esses homens, eles os enviaram.

Quando estavam na cidade de Salamina, proclamavam a palavra de Deus nas sinagogas dos judeus. Tinham também João Marcos como seu assistente.

Y llegados á Salamina, anunciaban la palabra de Dios en las sinagogas de los Judíos: y tenían también á Juan en el ministerio.

And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

Após atravessarem toda a ilha de Pafos, encontraram um certo mago, um falso profeta judeu cujo nome era Barjesus.

Y habiendo atravesado toda la isla hasta Papho, hallaron un hombre mago, falso profeta, Judío, llamado Barjesús;

And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus:

O qual estava com o procônsul Sérgio Paulo, que era um homem inteligente. Este mandou chamar Barnabé e Saulo, porque queria ouvir a Palavra de Deus.

El cual estaba con el procónsul Sergio Paulo, varón prudente. Este, llamando á Bernabé y á Saulo, deseaba oir la palabra de Dios.

Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

Porém, Elimas, "o mago" (essa é a tradução do seu nome), opunha-se a eles; ele tentava desviar o procônsul da fé.

Mas Saulo, também chamado Paulo, cheio do Espírito Santo, olhou nos seus olhos,

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,

e disse: "Tu, filho do diabo, estás cheio de todo tipo de engano e maldade. Tu és inimigo de todo tipo de justiça. Será que nunca cessarás de perverter os retos caminhos do Senhor?

Dijo: Oh, lleno de todo engaño y de toda maldad, hijo del diablo, enemigo de toda justicia, ¿no cesarás de trastornar los caminos rectos del Señor?

And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

and said, “You son of the devil, full of all deceit and all cunning, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Agora, a mão do Senhor está contra ti, e ficarás cego. Tu não verás o sol por algum tempo". Imediatamente, névoa e escuridão caíram sobre Elimas; e, andando, pedia às pessoas para guiá-lo pela mão.

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Depois que o procônsul viu o que aconteceu, creu, porque ficou maravilhado com o ensino acerca do Senhor.

Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Então, Paulo e seus amigos navegaram de Pafos e chegaram a Perge, na Panfília. Contudo, João os deixou e retornou para Jerusalém.

Y partidos de Papho, Pablo y sus compañeros arribaron á Perge de Pamphylia: entonces Juan, apartándose de ellos, se volvió á Jerusalem.

Paulo e seus amigos viajaram de Perge, e chegaram a Antioquia da Pisídia. Ali, foram à sinagoga, no dia de sábado, e sentaram-se.

But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

Após a leitura da Lei e dos Profetas, os líderes da sinagoga mandaram-lhes uma mensagem dizendo: "Irmãos, se tendes alguma mensagem de encorajamento para o povo, falai".

Y después de la lectura de la ley y de los profetas, los príncipes de la sinagoga enviaron á ellos, diciendo: Varones hermanos, si tenéis alguna palabra de exhortación para el pueblo, hablad.

And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Assim, Paulo levantou-se e, pedindo silêncio com a mão, disse: "Homens de Israel e vós que honrais a Deus, ouvi.

The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

Por cerca de quarenta anos, Ele os sustentou no deserto.

Depois de ter destruído as sete nações da terra de Canaã, Ele deu ao nosso povo essa terra por herança.

Tudo isso levou mais de quatrocentos e cinquenta anos. Depois de todas essas coisas, Deus lhes deu juízes até o profeta Samuel.

And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

Então o povo pediu um rei e, por quarenta anos, Deus lhes deu Saul, filho de Quis, homem da tribo de Benjamim.

And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

Com o passar do tempo, Deus o retirou do reinado e deu-lhes Davi como rei. Sobre Davi, Deus disse: 'Achei Davi, filho de Jessé, para ser um homem segundo o meu coração; ele fará tudo o que Eu desejo'.

Y quitado aquél, levantóles por rey á David, al que dió también testimonio, diciendo: He hallado á David, hijo de Jessé, varón conforme á mi corazón, el cual hará todo lo que yo quiero.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Da descendência desse homem, Deus trouxe a Israel o Salvador, Jesus, conforme prometeu.

De la simiente de éste, Dios, conforme á la promesa, levantó á Jesús por Salvador á Israel;

Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

From this man’s offspring, God has brought salvation to Israel according to his promise,

Antes de Sua vinda, João anunciou o batismo de arrependimento para todo o povo de Israel.

Predicando Juan delante de la faz de su venida el bautismo de arrepentimiento á todo el pueblo de Israel.

When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

As John was fulfilling his course, he said, ‘What do you suppose that I am? I am not he. But behold, one comes after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.’

Irmãos, filhos da descendência de Abraão e aqueles dentre vós que adorais a Deus, foi a nós que a mensagem desta salvação foi enviada.

Varones hermanos, hijos del linaje de Abraham, y los que entre vosotros temen á Dios, á vosotros es enviada la palabra de esta salud.

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

“Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

Pois os que vivem em Jerusalém e suas autoridades, não O conheceram de fato, nem compreenderam a mensagem dos profetas que se leem todos os sábados; mas, eles cumpriram as palavras dos profetas condenando Jesus à morte.

Porque los que habitaban en Jerusalem, y sus príncipes, no conociendo á éste, y las voces de los profetas que se leen todos los sábados, condenándole, las cumplieron.

For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Mesmo que não tenham encontrado nenhuma razão para a morte Dele, pediram a Pilatos para matá-Lo.

Y sin hallar en él causa de muerte, pidieron á Pilato que le matasen.

And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

Quando completaram todas as coisas que foram escritas sobre Ele, tiraram-No do madeiro e colocaram-No numa sepultura.

And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.

Todavia, Deus O ressuscitou dentre os mortos.

Então, trazemos para vós boas notícias sobre as promessas feitas aos nossos antepassados.

Y nosotros también os anunciamos el evangelio de aquella promesa que fué hecha á los padres,

And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

We bring you good news of the promise made to the fathers,

Deus fez essas promessas para nós, seus filhos, de que Ele ressuscitou Jesus dentre os mortos. Isso também é o que foi escrito no salmo segundo: 'Tu és o Meu Filho, hoje Te gerei’.

La cual Dios ha cumplido á los hijos de ellos, á nosotros, resucitando á Jesús: como también en el salmo segundo está escrito: Mi hijo eres tú, yo te he engendrado hoy.

God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Também pelo fato de O ter ressuscitado dentre os mortos, para que Seu corpo não se corrompa, Ele falou assim: 'Te darei as santas e fiéis bênçãos de Davi'.

Y que le levantó de los muertos para nunca más volver á corrupción, así lo dijo: Os daré las misericordias fieles de David.

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

“Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.’

Por essa razão, Ele também disse em outro salmo: 'Tu não permitirás que o Teu Santo veja corrupção".

Por eso dice también en otro lugar: No permitirás que tu Santo vea corrupción.

Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Therefore he says also in another psalm, ‘You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.’

Portanto, depois que Davi serviu na sua própria geração aos desígnios de Deus, ele adormeceu, foi sepultado junto a seus pais e viu a corrupção.

Mas Ele, a quem Deus ressuscitou, não viu a corrupção.

But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Então, seja isto conhecido por vós, irmãos, que através Desse Homem é anunciado a vós o perdão dos pecados.

Séaos pues notorio, varones hermanos, que por éste os es anunciada remisión de pecados;

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins;

Por meio Dele, todo aquele que crê é justificado de todas as coisas das quais não pudestes ser justificados pela lei de Moisés.

Y de todo lo que por la ley de Moisés no pudisteis ser justificados, en éste es justificado todo aquel que creyere.

And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Logo, tende cuidado para que as coisas que os profetas disseram não vos aconteçam.

Mirad, pues, que no venga sobre vosotros lo que está dicho en los profetas;

Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

Beware therefore, lest that come on you which is spoken in the prophets:

'Vede, ó desprezadores, admirai-vos e perecei; porque estou fazendo uma obra em vossos dias na qual vós não crereis, mesmo se alguém vos anunciasse'".

Mirad, oh menospreciadores, y entonteceos, y desvaneceos; porque yo obro una obra en vuestros días, obra que no creeréis, si alguien os la contare.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

‘Behold, you scoffers! Wonder and perish, for I work a work in your days, a work which you will in no way believe, if one declares it to you.’”

Enquanto Paulo e Barnabé estavam saindo, o povo gentiu lhes rogava que no sábado seguinte falassem mais a respeito dessas coisas.

Y saliendo ellos de la sinagoga de los Judíos, los Gentiles les rogaron que el sábado siguiente les hablasen estas palabras.

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Quando a reunião da sinagoga terminou, muitos judeus e devotos prosélitos seguiram Paulo e Barnabé, os quais, falando-lhes, os exortavam a perseverar na graça de Deus.

Y despedida la congregación, muchos de los Judíos y de los religiosos prosélitos siguieron á Pablo y á Bernabé; los cuales hablándoles, les persuadían que permaneciesen en la gracia de Dios.

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

No sábado seguinte, quase toda a cidade estava reunida para ouvir a Palavra do Senhor.

Y el sábado siguiente se juntó casi toda la ciudad á oir la palabra de Dios.

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Quando os judeus viram as multidões, se encheram de inveja e contradiziam as coisas ditas por Paulo e o insultavam.

Mas los Judíos, visto el gentío, llenáronse de celo, y se oponían á lo que Pablo decía, contradiciendo y blasfemando.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Entretanto, Paulo e Barnabé, falando ousadamente, disseram-lhes: "Era necessário que a Palavra de Deus fosse proclamada primeiramente a vós. Visto que a rejeitais e não vos considerais dignos da vida eterna, vede, voltaremo-nos para os gentios.

Entonces Pablo y Bernabé, usando de libertad, dijeron: A vosotros á la verdad era menester que se os hablase la palabra de Dios; mas pues que la desecháis, y os juzgáis indignos de la vida eterna, he aquí, nos volvemos á los Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said, “It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Porque assim o Senhor nos ordenou, dizendo: 'Eu tenho vos colocado como luz para os gentios, a fim de que possais levar salvação até aos confins da terra'".

Porque así nos ha mandado el Señor, diciendo: Te he puesto para luz de los Gentiles, para que seas salud hasta lo postrero de la tierra.

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, ‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’”

Quando ouviram isso, os gentios se alegraram e louvaram a Palavra do Senhor. E creram, todos quanto foram designados para a vida eterna.

Y los Gentiles oyendo esto, fueron gozosos, y glorificaban la palabra del Señor: y creyeron todos los que estaban ordenados para vida eterna.

And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

A Palavra do Senhor foi espalhada por toda aquela região.

Todavia, os judeus exortaram mulheres importantes e devotas, assim como os homens que eram líderes na cidade. Eles instigaram uma perseguição contra Paulo e Barnabé e os lançaram fora das fronteiras de sua cidade.

Mas los Judíos concitaron mujeres pías y honestas, y á los principales de la ciudad, y levantaron persecución contra Pablo y Bernabé, y los echaron de sus términos.

But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
