Es geschah aber zu Ikonien, daß sie zusammenkamen und predigten in der Juden Schule, also daß eine grofte Menge der Juden und der Griechen glaubig ward.

Y ACONTECIÓ en Iconio, que entrados juntamente en la sinagoga de los Judíos, hablaron de tal manera, que creyó una grande multitud de Judíos, y asimismo de Griegos.

Die unglaubigen Juden aber erweckten und entrüsteten die Seelen der Heiden wider die Brüder.

Mas los Judíos que fueron incrédulos, incitaron y corrompieron los ánimos de los Gentiles contra los hermanos.

But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.

So hatten sie nun ihr Wesen daselbst eine lange Zeit und lehreten frei im Herm, welcher bezeugete das Wort seiner Gnade und lieft Zeichen und Wunder geschehen durch ihre Hande.

Con todo eso se detuvieron allí mucho tiempo, confiados en el Señor, el cual daba testimonio á la palabra de su gracia, dando que señales y milagros fuesen hechos por las manos de ellos.

Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Die Menge aber der Stadt spaltete sich; etliche hielten's mit den Juden und etliche mit den Aposteln.

Da sich aber ein Sturm erhub der Heiden und der Juden und ihrer Obersten, sie zu schmahen und zu steinigen,

And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,

wurden sie des inne und entflohen in die Stadte des Landes Lykaonien, gen Lystra und Derbe und in die Gegend umher

Habiéndolo entendido, huyeron á Listra y Derbe, ciudades de Licaonia, y por toda la tierra alrededor.

They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:

und predigten daselbst das Evangelium.

Y allí predicaban el evangelio.

And there they preached the gospel.

Und eswarein Mann zu Lystra, der muftte sitzen; denn er hatte bose Füfte und war lahm von Mutterleibe, der noch nie gewandelt hatte.

And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked:

Der horete Paulus reden. Und als er ihn ansah und merkte, daß er glaubte, ihm mochte geholfen werden,

Este oyó hablar á Pablo; el cual, como puso los ojos en él, y vió que tenía fe para ser sano,

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

sprach er mit lauter Stimme: Stehe aufrichtig aufdeine Fufte! Und er sprang auf und wandelte.

Dijo á gran voz: Levántate derecho sobre tus pies. Y saltó, y anduvo.

Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

Da aber das Volk sah, was Paulus getan hatte, huben sie ihre Stimme auf und sprachen auf lykaonisch: Die Gottersind den Menschen gleich worden und zu uns herniederkommen.

Entonces las gentes, visto lo que Pablo había hecho, alzaron la voz, diciendo en lengua licaónica: Dioses semejantes á hombres han descendido á nosotros.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

When the multitude saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voice, saying in the language of Lycaonia, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!”

Und nenneten Barnabas Jupiter und Paulus Mercurius, dieweil er das Wort fuhrete.

Y á Bernabé llamaban Júpiter, y á Pablo, Mercurio, porque era el que llevaba la palabra.

And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

Der Priester aber Jupiters, der vor ihrer Stadt war, brachte Ochsen und Kranze vor das Tor und wollte opfern samt dem Volk.

Y el sacerdote de Júpiter, que estaba delante de la ciudad de ellos, trayendo toros y guirnaldas delante de las puertas, quería con el pueblo sacrificar.

Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Da das die Apostel, Barnabas und Paulus, horeten, zerrissen sie ihre Kleider und sprangen unter das Volk, schrieen

Y como lo oyeron los apóstoles Bernabé y Pablo, rotas sus ropas, se lanzaron al gentío, dando voces,

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

und sprachen: Ihr Manner, was machetihr da? Wir sind auch sterbliche Menschen gleichwie ihr und predigen euch das Evangelium, daß ihreuch bekehren sollt von diesen falschen zu dem lebendigen Gott, welcher gemacht hat Himmel und Erde und das Meer und alles, was drinnen ist;

Y diciendo: Varones, ¿por qué hacéis esto? Nosotros también somos hombres semejantes á vosotros, que os anunciamos que de estas vanidades os convirtáis al Dios vivo, que hizo el cielo y la tierra, y la mar, y todo lo que está en ellos:

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

der in vergangenen Zeiten hat lassen alle FHeiden wandeln ihre eigenen Wege.

El cual en las edades pasadas ha dejado á todas las gentes andar en sus caminos;

Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.

Und zwar hat er sich selbst nicht unbezeuget gelassen, hat uns viel Gutes getan und vom Himmel Regen und fruchtbare Zeiten gegeben, unsere Herzen erfullet mit Speise und Freude.

Si bien no se dejó á sí mismo sin testimonio, haciendo bien, dándonos lluvias del cielo y tiempos fructíferos, hinchiendo de mantenimiento y de alegría nuestros corazones.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Und da sie das sagten, stilleten sie kaum das Volk, daß sie ihnen nicht opferten.

Y diciendo estas cosas, apenas apaciguaron el pueblo, para que no les ofreciesen sacrificio.

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.

Es kamen aber dahin Juden von Antiochien und Ikonien und uberredeten das Volk und steinigten Paulus und schleiften ihn zur Stadt hinaus, meineten, erware gestorben.

Entonces sobrevinieron unos Judíos de Antioquía y de Iconio, que persuadieron á la multitud, y habiendo apedreado á Pablo, le sacaron fuera de la ciudad, pensando que estaba muerto.

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

Da ihn aber die Junger umringeten, stund er auf und ging in die Stadt. Und auf den andern Tag ging er aus mit Barnabas gen Derbe.

Mas rodeándole los discípulos, se levantó y entró en la ciudad; y un día después, partió con Bernabé á Derbe.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.

Und predigten derselbigen Stadt das Evangelium und unterweiseten ihrer viel und zogen wieder gen Lystra und Ikonien und Antiochien,

Y como hubieron anunciado el evangelio á aquella ciudad, y enseñado á muchos, volvieron á Listra, y á Iconio, y á Antioquía,

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

When they had preached the Good News to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,

starketen die Seelen der Junger und ermahneten sie, daß sie im Glauben blieben, und daß wir durch viel Trubsal mussen in das Reich Gottes gehen.

Confirmando los ánimos de los discípulos, exhortándoles á que permaneciesen en la fe, y que es menester que por muchas tribulaciones entremos en el reino de Dios.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Und sie ordneten ihnen hin und her Alteste in den Gemeinden, beteten und fasteten und befahlen sie dem Herrn, an den sie glaubig worden waren.

And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Und zogen durch Pisidien und kamen nach Pamphylien.

Und von dannen schifften sie gen Antiochien, von dannen sie verordnet waren durch die Gnade Gottes zu dem Werk, das sie hatten ausgerichtet.

Y de allí navegaron á Antioquía, donde habían sido encomendados á la gracia de Dios para la obra que habían acabado.

And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

Da sie aber hinkamen, versammelten sie die Gemeinde und verkundigten, wie viel Gott mit ihnen getan hatte, und wie er den Heiden hatte die Tur des Glaubens aufgetan.

Y habiendo llegado, y reunido la iglesia, relataron cuán grandes cosas había Dios hecho con ellos, y cómo había abierto á los Gentiles la puerta de la fe.

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Sie hatten aber ihr Wesen allda nicht eine kleine Zeit bei den Jungern.

Y se quedaron allí mucho tiempo con los discípulos.

And there they abode long time with the disciples.

They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.
