Or il arriva qu’étant à Iconie, ils entrèrent ensemble dans la Synagogue des Juifs, et ils parlèrent d’une telle manière, qu’une grande multitude de Juifs et de Grecs crut.

Y ACONTECIÓ en Iconio, que entrados juntamente en la sinagoga de los Judíos, hablaron de tal manera, que creyó una grande multitud de Judíos, y asimismo de Griegos.

And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.

Mais ceux d’entre les Juifs qui furent rebelles, émurent et irritèrent les esprits des Gentils contre les frères.

But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.

Ils demeurèrent donc là assez longtemps, parlant hardiment pour le Seigneur, qui rendait témoignage à la parole de sa grâce, faisant en sorte que des prodiges et des miracles s’opérassent par leur moyen.

Con todo eso se detuvieron allí mucho tiempo, confiados en el Señor, el cual daba testimonio á la palabra de su gracia, dando que señales y milagros fuesen hechos por las manos de ellos.

Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Eux l’ayant su, s’enfuirent aux villes de Lycaonie, savoir à Lystre, et à Derbe, et aux quartiers d’alentour.

Habiéndolo entendido, huyeron á Listra y Derbe, ciudades de Licaonia, y por toda la tierra alrededor.

They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:

they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region.

Et ils y annoncèrent l’Evangile.

Y allí predicaban el evangelio.

And there they preached the gospel.

Or il y avait à Lystre un homme, impotent de ses pieds, perclus dès le ventre de sa mère, qui n’avait jamais marché, et qui se tenait là assis.

And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked:

Cet homme ouït parler Paul, qui ayant arrêté ses yeux sur lui, et voyant qu’il avait la foi pour être guéri,

Este oyó hablar á Pablo; el cual, como puso los ojos en él, y vió que tenía fe para ser sano,

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

He was listening to Paul speaking, who, fastening eyes on him and seeing that he had faith to be made whole,

Lui dit à haute voix : lève-toi droit sur tes pieds. Et il se leva en sautant, et marcha.

Dijo á gran voz: Levántate derecho sobre tus pies. Y saltó, y anduvo.

Et les gens qui étaient là assemblés, ayant vu ce que Paul avait fait, élevèrent leur voix, disant en Langue Lycaonienne : les dieux s’étant faits semblables aux hommes, sont descendus vers nous.

Entonces las gentes, visto lo que Pablo había hecho, alzaron la voz, diciendo en lengua licaónica: Dioses semejantes á hombres han descendido á nosotros.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

Et ils appelaient Barnabas Jupiter, et Paul Mercure, parce que c’était lui qui portait la parole.

Y á Bernabé llamaban Júpiter, y á Pablo, Mercurio, porque era el que llevaba la palabra.

And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

Et même le Sacrificateur de Jupiter, qui était devant leur ville, ayant amené des taureaux couronnés jusqu’à l’entrée de la porte, voulait leur sacrifier avec la foule.

Y el sacerdote de Júpiter, que estaba delante de la ciudad de ellos, trayendo toros y guirnaldas delante de las puertas, quería con el pueblo sacrificar.

Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Mais les Apôtres Barnabas et Paul ayant appris cela, ils déchirèrent leurs vêtements et se jetèrent au milieu de la foule, en s’écriant,

Y como lo oyeron los apóstoles Bernabé y Pablo, rotas sus ropas, se lanzaron al gentío, dando voces,

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

Et disant : hommes ! pourquoi faites-vous ces choses ? nous sommes aussi des hommes, sujets aux mêmes passions que vous, et nous vous annonçons que de ces choses vaines vous vous convertissiez au Dieu vivant, qui a fait le ciel et la terre, la mer, et toutes les choses qui y sont.

Y diciendo: Varones, ¿por qué hacéis esto? Nosotros también somos hombres semejantes á vosotros, que os anunciamos que de estas vanidades os convirtáis al Dios vivo, que hizo el cielo y la tierra, y la mar, y todo lo que está en ellos:

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

Lequel dans les siècles passés, a laissé toutes les nations marcher dans leurs voies ;

El cual en las edades pasadas ha dejado á todas las gentes andar en sus caminos;

Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.

Quoiqu’il ne se soit pas laissé sans témoignage, en faisant du bien, et en nous donnant des pluies du ciel, et des saisons fertiles, et en remplissant nos coeurs de viande et de joie.

Si bien no se dejó á sí mismo sin testimonio, haciendo bien, dándonos lluvias del cielo y tiempos fructíferos, hinchiendo de mantenimiento y de alegría nuestros corazones.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Et en disant ces choses, à peine empêchèrent-ils les troupes de leur sacrifier.

Y diciendo estas cosas, apenas apaciguaron el pueblo, para que no les ofreciesen sacrificio.

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.

Sur quoi quelques Juifs d’Antioche et d’Iconie étant survenus, ils gagnèrent le peuple, de sorte qu’ayant lapidé Paul, ils le traînèrent hors de la ville, croyant qu’il fût mort.

Entonces sobrevinieron unos Judíos de Antioquía y de Iconio, que persuadieron á la multitud, y habiendo apedreado á Pablo, le sacaron fuera de la ciudad, pensando que estaba muerto.

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

Mais les disciples s’étant assemblés autour de lui, il se leva, et entra dans la ville ; et le lendemain il s’en alla avec Barnabas à Derbe.

Mas rodeándole los discípulos, se levantó y entró en la ciudad; y un día después, partió con Bernabé á Derbe.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

Et après qu’ils eurent annoncé l’Evangile en cette ville-là, et instruit plusieurs personnes, ils retournèrent à Lystre, à Iconie, et à Antioche ;

Y como hubieron anunciado el evangelio á aquella ciudad, y enseñado á muchos, volvieron á Listra, y á Iconio, y á Antioquía,

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

When they had preached the Good News to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,

Fortifiant l’esprit des disciples, et les exhortant à persévérer en la foi, et leur faisant sentir que c’est par plusieurs afflictions qu’il nous faut entrer dans le Royaume de Dieu.

Confirmando los ánimos de los discípulos, exhortándoles á que permaneciesen en la fe, y que es menester que por muchas tribulaciones entremos en el reino de Dios.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Et après que par l’avis des assemblées ils eurent établi des Anciens dans chaque Eglise, ayant prié avec jeûnes, ils les recommandèrent au Seigneur, en qui ils avaient cru.

Puis ayant traversé la Pisidie, ils allèrent en Pamphylie.

Et de là ils naviguèrent à Antioche, d’où ils avaient été recommandés à la grâce de Dieu, pour l’oeuvre qu’ils avaient finie.

Y de allí navegaron á Antioquía, donde habían sido encomendados á la gracia de Dios para la obra que habían acabado.

And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

Et quand ils furent arrivés, et qu’ils eurent assemblé l’Eglise, ils racontèrent toutes les choses que Dieu avait faites par eux, et comment il avait ouvert aux Gentils la porte de la foi.

Y habiendo llegado, y reunido la iglesia, relataron cuán grandes cosas había Dios hecho con ellos, y cómo había abierto á los Gentiles la puerta de la fe.

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

When they had arrived and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.

Et ils demeurèrent là longtemps avec les disciples.

Y se quedaron allí mucho tiempo con los discípulos.

And there they abode long time with the disciples.

They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.
