Es geschah aber in Ikonium, dass sie zusammen in die Synagoge der Juden gingen und so redeten, dass eine große Menge, sowohl von Juden als auch von Griechen, glaubte.

Die ungläubigen Juden aber reizten und erbitterten die Seelen derer aus den Nationen gegen die Brüder.

Sie blieben nun lange Zeit dort und sprachen freimütig in dem Herrn, der dem Wort seiner Gnade Zeugnis gab, indem er Zeichen und Wunder geschehen ließ durch ihre Hände.

Con todo eso se detuvieron allí mucho tiempo, confiados en el Señor, el cual daba testimonio á la palabra de su gracia, dando que señales y milagros fuesen hechos por las manos de ellos.

entflohen sie, als sie es inne wurden, in die Städte von Lykaonien: Lystra und Derbe, und die Umgegend;

They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:

und dort verkündigten sie das Evangelium.

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

Als die Volksmengen aber sahen, was Paulus tat, erhoben sie ihre Stimme und sagten auf Lykaonisch: Die Götter sind den Menschen gleich geworden und sind zu uns herabgekommen.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

Und sie nannten den Barnabas Zeus, den Paulus aber Hermes, weil er das Wort führte.

Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Als aber die Apostel Barnabas und Paulus es hörten, zerrissen sie ihre Kleider, sprangen hinaus unter die Volksmenge und riefen

und sprachen: Männer, warum tut ihr dieses? Auch wir sind Menschen von gleichen Empfindungen wie ihr und verkündigen euch, dass ihr euch von diesen nichtigen Götzen bekehren sollt zu dem lebendigen Gott, der den Himmel und die Erde und das Meer gemacht hat und alles, was in ihnen ist;

Y diciendo: Varones, ¿por qué hacéis esto? Nosotros también somos hombres semejantes á vosotros, que os anunciamos que de estas vanidades os convirtáis al Dios vivo, que hizo el cielo y la tierra, y la mar, y todo lo que está en ellos:

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

der in den vergangenen Geschlechtern alle Nationen in ihren eigenen Wegen gehen ließ,

El cual en las edades pasadas ha dejado á todas las gentes andar en sus caminos;

Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

obwohl er sich doch nicht unbezeugt gelassen hat, indem er Gutes tat und euch vom Himmel Regen und fruchtbare Zeiten gab und eure Herzen mit Speise und Fröhlichkeit erfüllte.

Si bien no se dejó á sí mismo sin testimonio, haciendo bien, dándonos lluvias del cielo y tiempos fructíferos, hinchiendo de mantenimiento y de alegría nuestros corazones.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Und als sie dies sagten, stillten sie kaum die Volksmengen, dass sie ihnen nicht opferten.

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

Es kamen aber aus Antiochien und Ikonium Juden an, und nachdem sie die Volksmengen überredet und Paulus gesteinigt hatten, schleiften sie ihn zur Stadt hinaus, indem sie meinten, er sei gestorben.

Entonces sobrevinieron unos Judíos de Antioquía y de Iconio, que persuadieron á la multitud, y habiendo apedreado á Pablo, le sacaron fuera de la ciudad, pensando que estaba muerto.

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

Als aber die Jünger ihn umringten, stand er auf und ging in die Stadt hinein; und am folgenden Tag zog er mit Barnabas aus nach Derbe.

Mas rodeándole los discípulos, se levantó y entró en la ciudad; y un día después, partió con Bernabé á Derbe.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

Und als sie jener Stadt das Evangelium verkündigt und viele zu Jüngern gemacht hatten, kehrten sie nach Lystra und Ikonium und Antiochien zurück,

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

indem sie die Seelen der Jünger befestigten, und sie ermahnten, im Glauben zu verharren, und dass wir durch viele Trübsale in das Reich Gottes eingehen müssen.

Confirmando los ánimos de los discípulos, exhortándoles á que permaneciesen en la fe, y que es menester que por muchas tribulaciones entremos en el reino de Dios.

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Sie blieben aber eine nicht geringe Zeit bei den Jüngern.

Y se quedaron allí mucho tiempo con los discípulos.

And there they abode long time with the disciples.
