Und es war ein Mann zu Lystra, der mußte sitzen; denn er hatte böse Füße und war lahm von Mutterleibe, der noch nie gewandelt hatte.

Con todo eso se detuvieron allí mucho tiempo, confiados en el Señor, el cual daba testimonio á la palabra de su gracia, dando que señales y milagros fuesen hechos por las manos de ellos.

Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

Der Priester aber Jupiters, der vor ihrer Stadt war, brachte Ochsen und Kränze vor das Tor und wollte opfern samt dem Volk.

Habiéndolo entendido, huyeron á Listra y Derbe, ciudades de Licaonia, y por toda la tierra alrededor.

They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:

Da das die Apostel, Barnabas und Paulus, höreten, zerrissen sie ihre Kleider und sprangen unter das Volk, schrieen

Este oyó hablar á Pablo; el cual, como puso los ojos en él, y vió que tenía fe para ser sano,

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

Und zwar hat er sich selbst nicht unbezeuget gelassen, hat uns viel Gutes getan und vom Himmel Regen und fruchtbare Zeiten gegeben, unsere Herzen erfüllet mit Speise und Freude.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

Es kamen aber dahin Juden von Antiochien und Ikonien und überredeten das Volk und steinigten Paulus und schleiften ihn zur Stadt hinaus, meineten, er wäre gestorben.

Y á Bernabé llamaban Júpiter, y á Pablo, Mercurio, porque era el que llevaba la palabra.

And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

Da ihn aber die Jünger umringeten, stund er auf und ging in die Stadt. Und auf den andern Tag ging er aus mit Barnabas gen Derbe.

Und predigten derselbigen Stadt das Evangelium und unterweiseten ihrer viel und zogen wieder gen Lystra und Ikonien und Antiochien,

Y como lo oyeron los apóstoles Bernabé y Pablo, rotas sus ropas, se lanzaron al gentío, dando voces,

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

stärketen die Seelen der Jünger und ermahneten sie, daß sie im Glauben blieben, und daß wir durch viel Trübsal müssen in das Reich Gottes gehen.

Y diciendo: Varones, ¿por qué hacéis esto? Nosotros también somos hombres semejantes á vosotros, que os anunciamos que de estas vanidades os convirtáis al Dios vivo, que hizo el cielo y la tierra, y la mar, y todo lo que está en ellos:

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

Und sie ordneten ihnen hin und her Älteste in den Gemeinden, beteten und fasteten und befahlen sie dem HERRN, an den sie gläubig worden waren.

El cual en las edades pasadas ha dejado á todas las gentes andar en sus caminos;

Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

Und zogen durch Pisidien und kamen nach Pamphylien.

Si bien no se dejó á sí mismo sin testimonio, haciendo bien, dándonos lluvias del cielo y tiempos fructíferos, hinchiendo de mantenimiento y de alegría nuestros corazones.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Und redeten das Wort zu Perge und zogen hinab gen Attalien.

Y diciendo estas cosas, apenas apaciguaron el pueblo, para que no les ofreciesen sacrificio.

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

Entonces sobrevinieron unos Judíos de Antioquía y de Iconio, que persuadieron á la multitud, y habiendo apedreado á Pablo, le sacaron fuera de la ciudad, pensando que estaba muerto.

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

Da sie aber hinkamen, versammelten sie die Gemeinde und verkündigten, wie viel Gott mit ihnen getan hatte, und wie er den Heiden hätte die Tür des Glaubens aufgetan.

Mas rodeándole los discípulos, se levantó y entró en la ciudad; y un día después, partió con Bernabé á Derbe.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

Sie hatten aber ihr Wesen allda nicht eine kleine Zeit bei den Jüngern.

Y como hubieron anunciado el evangelio á aquella ciudad, y enseñado á muchos, volvieron á Listra, y á Iconio, y á Antioquía,

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

Und etliche kamen herab von Judäa und lehreten die Brüder: Wo ihr euch nicht beschneiden lasset nach der Weise Mose's, so könnet ihr nicht selig werden.

Confirmando los ánimos de los discípulos, exhortándoles á que permaneciesen en la fe, y que es menester que por muchas tribulaciones entremos en el reino de Dios.

Da sich nun ein Aufruhr erhub, und Paulus und Barnabas nicht einen geringen Zank mit ihnen hatten, ordneten sie, daß Paulus und Barnabas und etliche andere aus ihnen hinaufzögen gen Jerusalem zu den Aposteln und Ältesten um dieser Frage willen.

Da sie aber hinkamen gen Jerusalem wurden sie empfangen von der Gemeinde und von den Aposteln und von den Ältesten. Und sie verkündigten, wieviel Gott mit ihnen getan hatte.

Da traten auf etliche von der Pharisäer Sekte, die gläubig waren worden und sprachen: Man muß sie beschneiden und gebieten, zu halten das Gesetz Mose's.

Aber die Apostel und die Ältesten kamen zusammen, diese Rede zu besehen.

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Da man sich aber lange gezanket hatte, stund Petrus auf und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr Männer, liebe Brüder, ihr wisset, daß Gott lang vor dieser Zeit unter uns erwählet hat, daß durch meinen Mund die Heiden das Wort des Evangeliums höreten und glaubeten.

Y se quedaron allí mucho tiempo con los discípulos.

And there they abode long time with the disciples.
