Es geschah aber in Ikonium, daß sie miteinander in die Synagoge der Juden gingen und derart redeten, daß eine große Menge von Juden und Griechen gläubig wurde.

Y ACONTECIÓ en Iconio, que entrados juntamente en la sinagoga de los Judíos, hablaron de tal manera, que creyó una grande multitud de Judíos, y asimismo de Griegos.

Die ungläubig gebliebenen Juden aber erregten und erbitterten die Gemüter der Heiden gegen die Brüder.

Doch blieben sie längere Zeit daselbst und lehrten freimütig im Vertrauen auf den Herrn, der dem Wort seiner Gnade Zeugnis gab und Zeichen und Wunder durch ihre Hände geschehen ließ.

Con todo eso se detuvieron allí mucho tiempo, confiados en el Señor, el cual daba testimonio á la palabra de su gracia, dando que señales y milagros fuesen hechos por las manos de ellos.

Aber die Menge der Stadt teilte sich, und die einen hielten es mit den Juden, die andern mit den Aposteln.

And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,

und sie dessen inne wurden, entflohen sie in die Städte Lykaoniens, Lystra und Derbe, und in die umliegende Landschaft

Habiéndolo entendido, huyeron á Listra y Derbe, ciudades de Licaonia, y por toda la tierra alrededor.

They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:

und predigten dort das Evangelium.

And there they preached the gospel.

Und zu Lystra saß ein Mann mit gebrechlichen Füßen, lahm von Geburt, der niemals hatte gehen können.

Der hörte Paulus reden; und als dieser ihn anblickte und sah, daß er Glauben hatte, ihm könnte geholfen werden,

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

sprach er mit lauter Stimme: Steh aufrecht auf deine Füße! Und er sprang auf und ging umher.

Als aber die Volksmenge sah, was Paulus getan hatte, erhoben sie ihre Stimme und sprachen auf lykaonisch: Die Götter sind Menschen gleichgeworden und zu uns herabgekommen!

Entonces las gentes, visto lo que Pablo había hecho, alzaron la voz, diciendo en lengua licaónica: Dioses semejantes á hombres han descendido á nosotros.

And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

Und sie nannten den Barnabas Jupiter, den Paulus aber Merkur, weil er das Wort führte.

And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

Der Priester Jupiters aber, dessen Tempel vor ihrer Stadt war, brachte Ochsen und Kränze an die Tore und wollte samt dem Volke opfern.

Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.

Als aber die Apostel Barnabas und Paulus das hörten, zerrissen sie ihre Kleider, sprangen heraus unter das Volk, riefen und sprachen:

Y como lo oyeron los apóstoles Bernabé y Pablo, rotas sus ropas, se lanzaron al gentío, dando voces,

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,

Ihr Männer, was macht ihr da? Auch wir sind Menschen, von gleicher Beschaffenheit wie ihr, und predigen euch das Evangelium, daß ihr euch von diesen eitlen Göttern bekehret zu dem lebendigen Gott, der den Himmel und die Erde, das Meer und alles, was darin ist, gemacht hat;

Y diciendo: Varones, ¿por qué hacéis esto? Nosotros también somos hombres semejantes á vosotros, que os anunciamos que de estas vanidades os convirtáis al Dios vivo, que hizo el cielo y la tierra, y la mar, y todo lo que está en ellos:

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;

der in den vergangenen Zeitaltern alle Heiden ihre eigenen Wege gehen ließ;

El cual en las edades pasadas ha dejado á todas las gentes andar en sus caminos;

Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.

und doch hat er sich selbst nicht unbezeugt gelassen, hat uns viel Gutes getan, uns vom Himmel Regen und fruchtbare Zeiten gegeben und unsre Herzen erfüllt mit Speise und Freude.

Si bien no se dejó á sí mismo sin testimonio, haciendo bien, dándonos lluvias del cielo y tiempos fructíferos, hinchiendo de mantenimiento y de alegría nuestros corazones.

Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Obschon sie solches sagten, konnten sie die Menge kaum beruhigen, daß sie ihnen nicht opferte.

Y diciendo estas cosas, apenas apaciguaron el pueblo, para que no les ofreciesen sacrificio.

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.

Es kamen aber aus Antiochia und Ikonium Juden herbei; die überredeten das Volk und steinigten Paulus und schleiften ihn vor die Stadt hinaus, da sie meinten, er sei gestorben.

Entonces sobrevinieron unos Judíos de Antioquía y de Iconio, que persuadieron á la multitud, y habiendo apedreado á Pablo, le sacaron fuera de la ciudad, pensando que estaba muerto.

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

Als ihn aber die Jünger umringten, stand er auf und ging in die Stadt. Und am folgenden Tage zog er mit Barnabas fort nach Derbe.

Mas rodeándole los discípulos, se levantó y entró en la ciudad; y un día después, partió con Bernabé á Derbe.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

Und nachdem sie in dieser Stadt das Evangelium gepredigt und eine schöne Zahl Jünger gemacht hatten, kehrten sie wieder nach Lystra und Ikonium und Antiochia zurück,

Y como hubieron anunciado el evangelio á aquella ciudad, y enseñado á muchos, volvieron á Listra, y á Iconio, y á Antioquía,

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

When they had preached the Good News to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,

stärkten die Seelen der Jünger und ermahnten sie, im Glauben zu verharren, und †sagten ihnen, daß wir durch viele Trübsale in das Reich Gottes eingehen müssen.

Confirmando los ánimos de los discípulos, exhortándoles á que permaneciesen en la fe, y que es menester que por muchas tribulaciones entremos en el reino de Dios.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Nachdem sie ihnen aber in jeder Gemeinde Älteste erwählt hatten, übergaben sie diese unter Gebet und Fasten dem Herrn, an welchen sie gläubig geworden waren.

Und sie durchzogen Pisidien und kamen nach Pamphylien.

Und von da schifften sie nach Antiochia, von wo aus sie der Gnade Gottes übergeben worden waren zu dem Werke, das sie †nun vollbracht hatten.

Y de allí navegaron á Antioquía, donde habían sido encomendados á la gracia de Dios para la obra que habían acabado.

And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.

Als sie aber angekommen waren, versammelten sie die Gemeinde und erzählten, wie viel Gott mit ihnen getan und daß er den Heiden die Tür des Glaubens aufgetan habe.

Y habiendo llegado, y reunido la iglesia, relataron cuán grandes cosas había Dios hecho con ellos, y cómo había abierto á los Gentiles la puerta de la fe.

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

Sie verbrachten aber nicht geringe Zeit mit den Jüngern.

Y se quedaron allí mucho tiempo con los discípulos.

And there they abode long time with the disciples.

They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.
