OR alcuni, discesi di Giudea, insegnavano i fratelli: Se voi non siete circoncisi, secondo il rito di Mosè, voi non potete esser salvati.

ENTONCES algunos que venían de Judea enseñaban á los hermanos: Que si no os circuncidáis conforme al rito de Moisés, no podéis ser salvos.

And certain men which came down from Judæa taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.”

Onde essendo nato turbamento e quistione non piccola di Paolo e di Barnaba contro a loro, fu ordinato che Paolo, e Barnaba, ed alcuni altri di loro, salissero in Gerusalemme agli apostoli, ed anziani, per questa quistione.

Así que, suscitada una disensión y contienda no pequeña á Pablo y á Bernabé contra ellos, determinaron que subiesen Pablo y Bernabé á Jerusalem, y algunos otros de ellos, á los apóstoles y á los ancianos, sobre esta cuestión.

When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.

Essi adunque, accompagnati dalla chiesa fuor della città, traversarono la Fenicia, e la Samaria, raccontando la conversion dei Gentili; e portarono grande allegrezza a tutti i fratelli.

Ellos, pues, habiendo sido acompañados de la iglesia, pasaron por la Fenicia y Samaria, contando la conversión de los Gentiles; y daban gran gozo á todos los hermanos.

And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

Ed essendo giunti in Gerusalemme, furono accolti dalla chiesa, e dagli apostoli, e dagli anziani; e rapportarono quanto gran cose Iddio avea fatte con loro.

Y llegados á Jerusalem, fueron recibidos de la iglesia y de los apóstoles y de los ancianos: y refirieron todas las cosas que Dios había hecho con ellos.

And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

Ma, dicevano, alcuni della setta de' Farisei, i quali hanno creduto, si son levati, dicendo che convien circoncidere i Gentili, e comandar loro d'osservar la legge di Mosè.

Mas algunos de la secta de los Fariseos, que habían creído, se levantaron, diciendo: Que es menester circuncidarlos, y mandarles que guarden la ley de Moisés.

But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

Allora gli apostoli e gli anziani si raunarono, per provvedere a questo fatto.

Y se juntaron los apóstoles y los ancianos para conocer de este negocio.

And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

The apostles and the elders were gathered together to see about this matter.

Ed essendosi mossa una gran disputazione, Pietro si levò in piè, e disse loro: Fratelli, voi sapete che già da' primi tempi Iddio elesse fra noi me, acciocchè per la mia bocca i Gentili udissero la parola dell'evangelo, e credessero.

Y habiendo habido grande contienda, levantándose Pedro, les dijo: Varones hermanos, vosotros sabéis cómo ya hace algún tiempo que Dios escogió que los Gentiles oyesen por mi boca la palabra del evangelio, y creyesen.

And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.

E Iddio, che conosce i cuori, ha reso loro testimonianza, dando loro lo Spirito Santo, come ancora a noi.

Y Dios, que conoce los corazones, les dió testimonio, dándoles el Espíritu Santo también como á nosotros;

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.

E non ha fatta alcuna differenza tra noi e loro; avendo purificati i cuori loro per la fede.

Y ninguna diferencia hizo entre nosotros y ellos, purificando con la fe sus corazones.

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

Ora dunque, perchè tentate Iddio, mettendo un giogo sopra il collo de' discepoli, il qual nè i padri nostri, nè noi, non abbiam potuto portare?

Ahora pues, ¿por qué tentáis á Dios, poniendo sobre la cerviz de los discípulos yugo, que ni nuestros padres ni nosotros hemos podido llevar?

Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Ma crediamo di esser salvati per la grazia del Signor Gesù Cristo, come essi ancora.

Antes por la gracia del Señor Jesús creemos que seremos salvos, como también ellos.

But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they are.”

E tutta la moltitudine si tacque, e stavano ad ascoltar Barnaba, e Paolo, che narravano quanti segni e prodigi Iddio avea fatti per loro fra i Gentili.

Entonces toda la multitud calló, y oyeron á Bernabé y á Pablo, que contaban cuán grandes maravillas y señales Dios había hecho por ellos entre los Gentiles.

Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the nations through them.

E dopo ch'essi si furon taciuti, Giacomo prese a dire:

Y después que hubieron callado, Jacobo respondió, diciendo: Varones hermanos, oidme:

And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:

After they were silent, James answered, “Brothers, listen to me.

Fratelli, ascoltatemi. Simeone ha narrato come Iddio ha primieramente visitati i Gentili, per di quelli prendere un popolo nel suo nome.

Simón ha contado cómo Dios primero visitó á los Gentiles, para tomar de ellos pueblo para su nombre;

Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations to take out of them a people for his name.

Ed a questo si accordano le parole de' profeti, siccome egli è scritto:

Y con esto concuerdan las palabras de los profetas, como está escrito:

And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,

This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,

Dopo queste cose, io edificherò di nuovo il tabernacolo di Davide, che è caduto; e ristorerò le sue ruine, e lo ridirizzerò.

Después de esto volveré y restauraré la habitación de David, que estaba caída; y repararé sus ruinas, y la volveré á levantar;

After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

‘After these things I will return. I will again build the tabernacle of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up

Acciocchè il rimanente degli uomini, e tutte le genti che si chiamano del mio nome, ricerchino il Signore, dice il Signore, che fa tutte queste cose.

Para que el resto de los hombres busque al Señor, y todos los Gentiles, sobre los cuales es llamado mi nombre, dice el Señor, que hace todas estas cosas.

That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

that the rest of men may seek after the Lord: all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who does all these things.’

Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

“All of God’s works are known to him from eternity.

Per la qual cosa io giudico che non si dia molestia a coloro che d'infra i Gentili si convertono a Dio.

Por lo cual yo juzgo, que los que de los Gentiles se convierten á Dios, no han de ser inquietados;

Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

Therefore my judgment is that we don’t trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to God,

Ma, che si mandi loro che si astengano dalle cose contaminate per gl'idoli, dalla fornicazione, dalle cose soffogate, e dal sangue.

Sino escribirles que se aparten de las contaminaciones de los ídolos, y de fornicación, y de ahogado, y de sangre.

But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.

Perciocchè, quant'è a Mosè, già dalle età antiche egli ha persone che lo predicano per ogni città, essendo ogni sabato letto nelle sinagoghe.

Porque Moisés desde los tiempos antiguos tiene en cada ciudad quien le predique en las sinagogas, donde es leído cada sábado.

For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

Allora parve bene agli apostoli, ed agli anziani, con tutta la chiesa, di mandare in Antiochia, con Paolo e Barnaba, certi uomini eletti d'infra loro, cioè: Giuda, soprannominato Barsaba, e Sila, uomini principali tra i fratelli;

Entonces pareció bien á los apóstoles y á los ancianos, con toda la iglesia, elegir varones de ellos, y enviarlos á Antioquía con Pablo y Bernabé: á Judas que tenía por sobrenombre Barsabas, y á Silas, varones principales entre los hermanos;

Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.

scrivendo per lor mani queste cose: Gli apostoli, e gli anziani, e i fratelli, a' fratelli d'infra i Gentili, che sono in Antiochia, in Siria, ed in Cilicia, salute.

Y escribir por mano de ellos: Los apóstoles y los ancianos y los hermanos, á los hermanos de los Gentiles que están en Antioquía, y en Siria, y en Cilicia, salud:

And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:

They wrote these things by their hand: “The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.

Perciocchè abbiamo inteso che alcuni, partiti d'infra noi, vi hanno turbati con parole, sovvertendo le anime vostre, dicendo che conviene che siate circoncisi, ed osserviate la legge; a' quali però non ne avevamo data alcuna commissione;

Por cuanto hemos oído que algunos que han salido de nosotros, os han inquietado con palabras, trastornando vuestras almas, mandando circuncidaros y guardar la ley, á los cuales no mandamos;

Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the law,’ to whom we gave no commandment;

essendoci raunati, siamo di pari consentimento convenuti in questo parere, di mandarvi certi uomini eletti, insieme co' cari nostri Barnaba, e Paolo;

Nos ha parecido, congregados en uno, elegir varones, y enviarlos á vosotros con nuestros amados Bernabé y Pablo,

It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

uomini, che hanno esposte le vite loro per lo nome del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo.

Hombres que han expuesto sus vidas por el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Abbiamo adunque mandati Giuda, e Sila, i quali ancora a bocca vi faranno intendere le medesime cose.

Así que, enviamos á Judas y á Silas, los cuales también por palabra os harán saber lo mismo.

We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.

Perciocchè è parso allo Spirito Santo, ed a noi, di non imporvi alcuno altro peso, se non quel ch'è necessario; che è di queste cose:

Que ha parecido bien al Espíritu Santo, y á nosotros, no imponeros ninguna carga más que estas cosas necesarias:

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:

Che vi asteniate dalle cose sacrificate agl'idoli, dal sangue, dalle cose soffogate, e dalla fornicazione; dalle quali cose farete ben di guardarvi. State sani.

Que os abstengáis de cosas sacrificadas á ídolos, y de sangre, y de ahogado, y de fornicación; de las cuales cosas si os guardareis, bien haréis. Pasadlo bien.

That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell.”

Essi adunque, essendo stati accommiatati, vennero in Antiochia; e, raunata la moltitudine, renderono la lettera.

Ellos entonces enviados, descendieron á Antioquía; y juntando la multitud, dieron la carta.

So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.

E quando que' di Antiochia l'ebber letta, si rallegrarono della consolazione.

La cual, como leyeron, fueron gozosos de la consolación.

Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.

E Giuda, e Sila, essendo anch'essi profeti, con molte parole confortarono i fratelli, e li confermarono.

Judas también y Silas, como ellos también eran profetas, consolaron y confirmaron á los hermanos con abundancia de palabra.

And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words and strengthened them.

E dopo che furono dimorati quivi alquanto tempo, furono da' fratelli rimandati in pace agli apostoli.

Y pasando allí algún tiempo, fueron enviados de los hermanos á los apóstoles en paz.

And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.

After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brothers to the apostles.

Ma parve bene a Sila di dimorar quivi.

Mas á Silas pareció bien el quedarse allí.

Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.

OR Paolo e Barnaba rimasero qualche tempo in Antiochia, insegnando, ed evangelizzando, con molti altri, la parola del Signore.

Y Pablo y Bernabé se estaban en Antioquía, enseñando la palabra del Señor y anunciando el evangelio con otros muchos.

Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

Ed alcuni giorni appresso, Paolo disse a Barnaba: Torniamo ora, e visitiamo i nostri fratelli in ogni città, dove abbiamo annunziata la parola del Signore, per veder come stanno.

Y después de algunos días, Pablo dijo á Bernabé: Volvamos á visitar á los hermanos por todas las ciudades en las cuales hemos anunciado la palabra del Señor, cómo están.

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

Or Barnaba consigliava di prender con loro Giovanni detto Marco.

Y Bernabé quería que tomasen consigo á Juan, el que tenía por sobrenombre Marcos;

And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.

Ma Paolo giudicava che non dovessero prender con loro colui che si era dipartito da loro da Panfilia e non era andato con loro all'opera.

Mas á Pablo no le parecía bien llevar consigo al que se había apartado de ellos desde Pamphylia, y no había ido con ellos á la obra.

But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.

But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.

Laonde vi fu dell'acerbità, talchè si dipartirono l'un dall'altro; e Barnaba, preso Marco, navigò in Cipri.

Y hubo tal contención entre ellos, que se apartaron el uno del otro; y Bernabé tomando á Marcos, navegó á Cipro.

And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;

Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,

MA Paolo, eletto per suo compagno Sila, se ne andò, raccomandato da' fratelli alla grazia di Dio.

Y Pablo escogiendo á Silas, partió encomendado de los hermanos á la gracia del Señor.

And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

but Paul chose Silas and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.

E andava attorno per la Siria, e Cilicia, confermando le chiese.

Y anduvo la Siria y la Cilicia, confirmando á las iglesias.

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the assemblies.
