E ele veio a Derbe e Listra; e eis que estava ali um certo discípulo, de nome Timóteo, filho de uma certa mulher judia crente, mas de pai grego.

DESPUÉS llegó á Derbe, y á Listra: y he aquí, estaba allí un discípulo llamado Timoteo, hijo de una mujer Judía fiel, mas de padre Griego.

Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:

Do qual era bem testemunhado pelos irmãos que estavam em Listra e Icônio.

De éste daban buen testimonio los hermanos que estaban en Listra y en Iconio.

Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.

The brothers who were at Lystra and Iconium gave a good testimony about him.

A este Paulo quis que fosse com ele; e tomando-o, circuncidou-o, por causa dos judeus, que estavam naqueles lugares; porque todos conheciam o pai dele, que era grego.

Este quiso Pablo que fuese con él; y tomándole, le circuncidó por causa de los Judíos que estaban en aquellos lugares; porque todos sabían que su padre era Griego.

Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.

E eles, passando pelas cidades, entregavam-lhes as ordenanças que foram determinadas pelos apóstolos e anciãos em Jerusalém, para que as guardassem.

Y como pasaban por las ciudades, les daban que guardasen los decretos que habían sido determinados por los apóstoles y los ancianos que estaban en Jerusalem.

And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.

As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered the decrees to them to keep which had been ordained by the apostles and elders who were at Jerusalem.

E assim as Igrejas eram firmadas na fé, e cada dia aumentavam em número.

Así que, las iglesias eran confirmadas en fe, y eran aumentadas en número cada día.

And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

So the assemblies were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily.

E passando pela Frígia, e pela região da Galácia, foi-lhes impedido pelo Espírito Santo de falarem a palavra na Ásia.

Y pasando á Phrygia y la provincia de Galacia, les fué prohibido por el Espíritu Santo hablar la palabra en Asia.

Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,

When they had gone through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia.

E quando eles vieram a Mísia, tentaram ir à Bitínia; mas o Espírito não lhes permitiu.

Y como vinieron á Misia, tentaron de ir á Bithynia; mas el Espíritu no les dejó.

After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.

When they had come opposite Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit didn’t allow them.

E tendo passado por Mísia, desceram a Trôade.

Y pasando á Misia, descendieron á Troas.

And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.

E uma visão foi vista por Paulo durante a noite: um homem Macedônio se pôs diante dele ,rogando-lhe, e dizendo: Passa à Macedônia, e ajuda-nos!

Y fué mostrada á Pablo de noche una visión: Un varón Macedonio se puso delante, rogándole, y diciendo: Pasa á Macedonia, y ayúdanos.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

A vision appeared to Paul in the night. There was a man of Macedonia standing, begging him and saying, “Come over into Macedonia and help us.”

E quando ele viu a visão, logo procuramos partir para a Macedônia, concluindo que o Senhor estava nos chamando para anunciarmos o Evangelho a eles.

Y como vió la visión, luego procuramos partir á Macedonia, dando por cierto que Dios nos llamaba para que les anunciásemos el evangelio.

And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

When he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go out to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the Good News to them.

Então, tendo navegado desde Trôade, viemos correndo caminho direto a Samotrácia, e no dia seguinte a Neápolis.

Partidos pues de Troas, vinimos camino derecho á Samotracia, y el día siguiente á Neápolis;

Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;

Setting sail therefore from Troas, we made a straight course to Samothrace, and the day following to Neapolis;

E dali a Filipos, que é a primeira cidade desta parte da Macedônia, e é uma colônia; e estivemos naquela cidade por alguns dias.

Y de allí á Filipos, que es la primera ciudad de la parte de Macedonia, y una colonia; y estuvimos en aquella ciudad algunos días.

And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

and from there to Philippi, which is a city of Macedonia, the foremost of the district, a Roman colony. We were staying some days in this city.

E no dia de sábado saímos para fora da cidade, onde costumava ser feita oração; e tendo nos sentado, falamos às mulheres que tinham se ajuntado ali .

Y un día de sábado salimos de la puerta junto al río, donde solía ser la oración; y sentándonos, hablamos á las mujeres que se habían juntado.

And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

On the Sabbath day we went outside of the city by a riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.

E uma certa mulher, por nome Lídia, vendedora de púrpura, da cidade de Tiatira, que servia a Deus; ela nos ouviu; o coração da qual o Senhor abriu, para que prestasse atenção ao que Paulo dizia.

Entonces una mujer llamada Lidia, que vendía púrpura en la ciudad de Tiatira, temerosa de Dios, estaba oyendo; el corazón de la cual abrió el Señor para que estuviese atenta á lo que Pablo decía.

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

A certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one who worshiped God, heard us. The Lord opened her heart to listen to the things which were spoken by Paul.

E quando ela foi batizada, e também sua casa, ela nos rogou, dizendo: Se vós tendes julgado que eu seja fiel ao Senhor, entrai em minha casa e ficai ali.E ela insistiu para conosco.

Y cuando fué bautizada, y su familia, nos rogó, diciendo: Si habéis juzgado que yo sea fiel al Señor, entrad en mi casa, y posad: y constriñónos.

And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

When she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

E aconteceu, que ao estarmos nós indo à oração, saiu ao nosso encontro uma moça que tinha espírito de pitonisa; a qual ao fazer adivinhações trazia grande lucro a seus senhores.

Y aconteció, que yendo nosotros á la oración, una muchacha que tenía espíritu pitónico, nos salió al encuentro, la cual daba grande ganancia á sus amos adivinando.

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

As we were going to prayer, a certain girl having a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much gain by fortune telling.

Esta, seguindo após Paulo e nós, clamava, dizendo: Estes homens são servos do Deus Altíssimo, que nos anunciam o caminho da salvação.

Esta, siguiendo á Pablo y á nosotros, daba voces, diciendo: Estos hombres son siervos del Dios Alto, los cuales os anuncian el camino de salud.

The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Following Paul and us, she cried out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us a way of salvation!”

E ela fazia isto por muitos dias. Mas Paulo, estando descontente com isto, virou-se, e disse ao espírito: Em nome de Jesus Cristo eu te mando que saias dela.E na mesma hora o espírito saiu.

Y esto hacía por muchos días; mas desagradando á Pablo, se volvió y dijo al espíritu: Te mando en el nombre de Jesucristo, que salgas de ella. Y salió en la misma hora.

And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

She was doing this for many days. But Paul, becoming greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” It came out that very hour.

E os senhores dela, vendo que a esperança de lucro deles tinha ido embora, pegaram a Paulo e a Silas, e os levaram à praça, diante dos governantes.

Y viendo sus amos que había salido la esperanza de su ganancia, prendieron á Pablo y á Silas, y los trajeron al foro, al magistrado;

And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

But when her masters saw that the hope of their gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers.

E apresentando-os aos magistrados, disseram: Estes homens perturbam nossa cidade, sendo judeus;

Y presentándolos á los magistrados, dijeron: Estos hombres, siendo Judíos, alborotan nuestra ciudad,

And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

When they had brought them to the magistrates, they said, “These men, being Jews, are agitating our city

E eles anunciam costumes que não nos é lícito receber, nem fazer; pois somos romanos.

Y predican ritos, los cuales no nos es lícito recibir ni hacer, pues somos Romanos.

And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

and advocate customs which it is not lawful for us to accept or to observe, being Romans.”

E a multidão se levantou juntamente contra eles; e os oficiais, rasgando suas roupas, mandaram que fossem açoitados.

Y agolpóse el pueblo contra ellos: y los magistrados rompiéndoles sus ropas, les mandaron azotar con varas.

And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.

The multitude rose up together against them and the magistrates tore their clothes from them, then commanded them to be beaten with rods.

E tendo sido lhes dado muitos açoites, os lançaram na prisão, mandando ao carcereiro que os guardasse em segurança.

Y después que los hubieron herido de muchos azotes, los echaron en la cárcel, mandando al carcelero que los guardase con diligencia:

And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

When they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely.

O qual, tendo recebido tal ordem, lançou-os na cela mais interna, e prendeu-lhes os pés no tronco.

El cual, recibido este mandamiento, los metió en la cárcel de más adentro; y les apretó los pies en el cepo.

Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

Having received such a command, he threw them into the inner prison and secured their feet in the stocks.

E perto da meia-noite, Paulo e Silas estavam orando, e cantando hinos a Deus; e os outros presos os escutavam.

Mas á media noche, orando Pablo y Silas, cantaban himnos á Dios: y los que estaban presos los oían.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

E de repente houve um terremoto tão grande que os alicerces da prisão se moviam; e logo todas as portas se abriram, e todas as correntes que prendiam a todos se soltaram.

Entonces fué hecho de repente un gran terremoto, de tal manera que los cimientos de la cárcel se movían; y luego todas las puertas se abrieron, y las prisiones de todos se soltaron.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

E o carcereiro, tendo acordado e visto abertas todas as portas da prisão; puxou a espada, e estava a ponto de se matar, pensando que os presos tinham fugido.

Y despertado el carcelero, como vió abiertas las puertas de la cárcel, sacando la espada se quería matar, pensando que los presos se habían huído.

And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

The jailer, being roused out of sleep and seeing the prison doors open, drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped.

Mas Paulo clamou em alta voz, dizendo: Não te faças nenhum mal, porque todos nós estamos aqui.

Mas Pablo clamó á gran voz, diciendo: No te hagas ningún mal; que todos estamos aquí.

But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, “Don’t harm yourself, for we are all here!”

E tendo pedido luzes, saltou para dentro, e termendo muito, ele se prostrou diante de Paulo e Silas.

El entonces pidiendo luz, entró dentro, y temblando, derribóse á los pies de Pablo y de Silas;

Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

E levando-os para fora, disse: Senhores, o que me é necessário fazer para eu me salvar?

Y sacándolos fuera, les dice: Señores, ¿qué es menester que yo haga para ser salvo?

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

E eles lhe disseram: Crê no Senhor Jesus Cristo, e serás salvo, tu e a tua casa.

Y ellos dijeron: Cree en el Señor Jesucristo, y serás salvo tú, y tu casa.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

E lhe falaram da palavra do Senhor, e a todos os que estavam em sua casa.

Y le hablaron la palabra del Señor, y á todos los que estaban en su casa.

And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

They spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all who were in his house.

E ele, tomando-os consigo, naquela mesma hora da noite, lavou -lhes as feridas dos açoites, e logo foi batizado, ele e todos os seus.

Y tomándolos en aquella misma hora de la noche, les lavó los azotes; y se bautizó luego él, y todos los suyos.

And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

E tendo os levado a sua casa, pôs comida diante deles à mesa; e alegrou-se muito, tendo crido em Deus com toda a sua casa.

Y llevándolos á su casa, les puso la mesa: y se gozó de que con toda su casa había creído á Dios.

And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

He brought them up into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly with all his household, having believed in God.

E sendo já de dia, os magistrados mandaram aos guardas, dizendo: Solta aqueles homens.

Y como fué de día, los magistrados enviaron los alguaciles, diciendo: Deja ir á aquellos hombres.

And when it was day, the magistrates sent the serjeants, saying, Let those men go.

But when it was day, the magistrates sent the sergeants, saying, “Let those men go.”

E o carcereiro anunciou estas palavras a Paulo, dizendo : Os magistrados têm mandado vos soltar; portanto agora saí, e ide em paz.

Y el carcelero hizo saber estas palabras á Pablo: Los magistrados han enviado á decir que seáis sueltos: así que ahora salid, é id en paz.

And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.

The jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go; now therefore come out and go in peace.”

Mas Paulo lhes disse: Eles nos açoitaram publicamente, e sem sermos sentenciados, sendo nós homens romanos, lançaram-nos na prisão, e agora nos lançam fora às escondidas? Assim não! Mas que eles mesmos venham e nos tirem.

Entonces Pablo les dijo: Azotados públicamente sin ser condenados, siendo hombres Romanos, nos echaron en la cárcel; y ¿ahora nos echan encubiertamente? No, de cierto, sino vengan ellos y sáquennos.

But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.

But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly without a trial, men who are Romans, and have cast us into prison! Do they now release us secretly? No, most certainly, but let them come themselves and bring us out!”

E os guardas voltaram para dizer aos magistrados estas palavras; e eles temeram ao ouvirem que eram romanos.

Y los alguaciles volvieron á decir á los magistrados estas palabras: y tuvieron miedo, oído que eran Romanos.

And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.

The sergeants reported these words to the magistrates, and they were afraid when they heard that they were Romans,

E tendo vindo, rogaram-lhes; e tirando-os, pediram -lhes que saíssem da cidade.

Y viniendo, les rogaron; y sacándolos, les pidieron que se saliesen de la ciudad.

And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city.

and they came and begged them. When they had brought them out, they asked them to depart from the city.

E eles, tendo saído da prisão, entraram na casa de Lídia; e vendo aos irmãos, consolaram-lhes; e saíram.

Entonces salidos de la cárcel, entraron en casa de Lidia; y habiendo visto á los hermanos, los consolaron, y se salieron.

And they went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.

They went out of the prison and entered into Lydia’s house. When they had seen the brothers, they encouraged them, then departed.
