So wir denn göttliches Geschlechts sind, sollen wir nicht meinen, die Gottheit sei gleich den güldenen, silbernen und steinernen Bildern, durch menschliche Gedanken gemacht.

Estando pues Pablo en medio del Areópago, dijo: Varones Atenienses, en todo os veo como más supersticiosos;

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

Paul stood in the middle of the Areopagus and said, “You men of Athens, I perceive that you are very religious in all things.
