Hechos 17

Expliquant et prouvant qu’il avait fallu que le Christ souffrît, et qu’il ressuscitât des morts, et que ce Jésus, lequel, disait-il, je vous annonce, était le Christ.

Declarando y proponiendo, que convenía que el Cristo padeciese, y resucitase de los muertos; y que Jesús, el cual yo os anuncio, decía él, éste era el Cristo.

Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
