Hechos 17

Er erschloß sie ihnen und legte ihnen dar, daß der Christus mußte leiden und von den Toten auferstehen, und daß Dieser ist eben der Jesus Christus, Den ich euch verkündige.

Declarando y proponiendo, que convenía que el Cristo padeciese, y resucitase de los muertos; y que Jesús, el cual yo os anuncio, decía él, éste era el Cristo.

Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
