Als sie ihn baten, länger bei ihnen zu bleiben, lehnte er es ab,

Los cuales le rogaban que se quedase con ellos por más tiempo; mas no accedió,

When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;

When they asked him to stay with them a longer time, he declined;
