Denn er widerlegte die Juden öffentlich auf das nachdrücklichste, indem er aus der Schrift bewies, daß Jesus der Christ sei.

Porque con gran vehemencia convencía públicamente á los Judíos, mostrando por las Escrituras que Jesús era el Cristo.

For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

for he powerfully refuted the Jews, publicly showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.
