Après cela Paul étant parti d’Athènes, vint à Corinthe.

Et y ayant trouvé un Juif, nommé Aquile, originaire du pays du Pont, qui un peu auparavant était venu d’Italie, avec Priscille sa femme, parce que Claude avait commandé que tous les Juifs sortissent de Rome, il s’adressa à eux.

Y hallando á un Judío llamado Aquila, natural del Ponto, que hacía poco que había venido de Italia, y á Priscila su mujer, (porque Claudio había mandado que todos los Judíos saliesen de Roma) se vino á ellos;

And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

Et chaque Sabbat il disputait dans la Synagogue, et persuadait tant les Juifs que les Grecs.

Y disputaba en la sinagoga todos los sábados, y persuadía á Judíos y á Griegos.

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

Et comme ils le contredisaient, et qu’ils blasphémaient, il secoua ses vêtements, et leur dit : que votre sang soit sur votre tête, j’en suis net ! je m’en vais dès à présent vers les Gentils.

Mas contradiciendo y blasfemando ellos, les dijo, sacudiendo sus vestidos: Vuestra sangre sea sobre vuestra cabeza; yo, limpio; desde ahora me iré á los Gentiles.

And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Et étant sorti de là, il entra dans la maison d’un homme appelé Juste, qui servait Dieu, et duquel la maison tenait à la Synagogue.

Y partiendo de allí, entró en casa de uno llamado Justo, temeroso de Dios, la casa del cual estaba junto á la sinagoga.

And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

Mais Crispe, Principal de la Synagogue, crut au Seigneur avec toute sa maison ; et plusieurs autres aussi des Corinthiens l’ayant ouï, crurent, et ils furent baptisés.

Or le Seigneur dit la nuit à Paul dans une vision : ne crains point, mais parle, et ne te tais point ;

Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

Parce que je suis avec toi, et personne ne mettra les mains sur toi pour te faire du mal ; et j’ai un grand peuple en cette ville.

Porque yo estoy contigo, y ninguno te podrá hacer mal; porque yo tengo mucho pueblo en esta ciudad.

For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.”

Il demeura donc là un an et six mois, enseignant parmi eux la parole de Dieu.

Y se detuvo allí un año y seis meses, enseñándoles la palabra de Dios.

Mais du temps que Gallion était Proconsul d’Achaïe, les Juifs tous d’un commun accord s’élevèrent contre Paul, et l’amenèrent devant le siège judicial,

Y siendo Galión procónsul de Acaya, los Judíos se levantaron de común acuerdo contra Pablo, y le llevaron al tribunal,

And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,

En disant : cet homme persuade les gens de servir Dieu contre la Loi.

Diciendo: Que éste persuade á los hombres á honrar á Dios contra la ley.

Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.

Et comme Paul voulait ouvrir la bouche, Gallion dit aux Juifs : ô Juifs ! s’il était question de quelque injustice, ou de quelque crime, je vous supporterais autant qu’il serait raisonnable ;

Y comenzando Pablo á abrir la boca, Galión dijo á los Judíos: Si fuera algún agravio ó algún crimen enorme, oh Judíos, conforme á derecho yo os tolerara:

And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

Mais s’il est question de paroles et de mots, et de votre Loi, vous y mettrez ordre vous-mêmes : car je ne veux point être juge de ces choses.

Mas si son cuestiones de palabras, y de nombres, y de vuestra ley, vedlo vosotros; porque yo no quiero ser juez de estas cosas.

But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

but if they are questions about words and names and your own law, look to it yourselves. For I don’t want to be a judge of these matters.”

Et il les fit retirer de devant le siège judicial.

Alors tous les Grecs ayant saisi Sosthènes, qui était le Principal de la Synagogue, le battaient devant le siège judicial, sans que Gallion s’en mît en peine.

Entonces todos los Griegos tomando á Sóstenes, prepósito de la sinagoga, le herían delante del tribunal: y á Galión nada se le daba de ello.

Et quand Paul eut demeuré là encore assez longtemps, il prit congé des frères, et navigua en Syrie, et avec lui Priscille et Aquile, après qu’il se fut fait raser la tête à Cenchrée, parce qu’il avait fait un voeu.

Mas Pablo habiéndose detenido aún allí muchos días, después se despidió de los hermanos, y navegó á Siria, y con él Priscila y Aquila, habiéndose trasquilado la cabeza en Cencreas, porque tenía voto.

And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Paul, having stayed after this many more days, took his leave of the brothers, and sailed from there for Syria, together with Priscilla and Aquila. He shaved his head in Cenchreae, for he had a vow.

Puis il arriva à Ephèse, et les y laissa ; mais étant entré dans la Synagogue, il discourut avec les Juifs,

Qui le prièrent de demeurer encore plus longtemps avec eux ; mais il ne voulut point le leur accorder.

Los cuales le rogaban que se quedase con ellos por más tiempo; mas no accedió,

Et il prit congé d’eux, en leur disant : il me faut absolument faire la Fête prochaine à Jérusalem, mais je reviendrai encore vers vous, s’il plaît à Dieu. Ainsi il désancra d’Ephèse.

Sino que se despidió de ellos, diciendo: Es menester que en todo caso tenga la fiesta que viene, en Jerusalem; mas otra vez volveré á vosotros, queriendo Dios. Y partió de Efeso.

But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

but taking his leave of them, he said, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem, but I will return again to you if God wills.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

Et quand il fut descendu à Césarée, il monta à Jérusalem, et après avoir salué l’Eglise, il descendit à Antioche.

Y habiendo arribado á Cesarea subió á Jerusalem; y después de saludar á la iglesia, descendió á Antioquía.

And when he had landed at Cæsarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.

Et y ayant séjourné quelque temps, il s’en alla, et traversa tout de suite la contrée de Galatie et de Phrygie, fortifiant tous les disciples.

Mais il vint à Ephèse un Juif, nommé Apollos, Alexandrin de nation, homme éloquent, et savant dans les Ecritures ;

Llegó entonces á Efeso un Judío, llamado Apolos, natural de Alejandría, varón elocuente, poderoso en las Escrituras.

And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

Qui était en quelque manière instruit dans la voie du Seigneur ; et comme il avait un grand zèle, il expliquait et enseignait fort exactement les choses qui concernent le Seigneur, quoiqu’il ne connût que le Baptême de Jean.

Este era instruído en el camino del Señor; y ferviente de espíritu, hablaba y enseñaba diligentemente las cosas que son del Señor, enseñando solamente en el bautismo de Juan.

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

Il commença donc à parler avec hardiesse dans la Synagogue ; et quand Priscille et Aquile l’eurent entendu, ils le prirent avec eux, et lui expliquèrent plus particulièrement la voie de Dieu.

Y comenzó á hablar confiadamente en la sinagoga: al cual como oyeron Priscila y Aquila, le tomaron, y le declararon más particularmente el camino de Dios.

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Car il convainquait publiquement les Juifs avec une grande véhémence, démontrant par les Ecritures que Jésus était le Christ.

Porque con gran vehemencia convencía públicamente á los Judíos, mostrando por las Escrituras que Jesús era el Cristo.

For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

for he powerfully refuted the Jews, publicly showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.
