Nach diesem aber schied er von Athen und kam nach Korinth.

Y hallando á un Judío llamado Aquila, natural del Ponto, que hacía poco que había venido de Italia, y á Priscila su mujer, (porque Claudio había mandado que todos los Judíos saliesen de Roma) se vino á ellos;

And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

Er unterredete sich aber in der Synagoge an jedem Sabbat und überzeugte Juden und Griechen.

Als aber sowohl Silas als Timotheus aus Mazedonien herabkamen, wurde Paulus hinsichtlich des Wortes gedrängt und bezeugte den Juden, dass Jesus der Christus sei.

Als sie aber widerstrebten und lästerten, schüttelte er die Kleider aus und sprach zu ihnen: Euer Blut komme auf euren Kopf! Ich bin rein; von jetzt an werde ich zu den Nationen gehen.

Mas contradiciendo y blasfemando ellos, les dijo, sacudiendo sus vestidos: Vuestra sangre sea sobre vuestra cabeza; yo, limpio; desde ahora me iré á los Gentiles.

And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Und er ging von dort fort und kam in das Haus eines Gewissen, mit Namen Justus, der Gott anbetete, dessen Haus an die Synagoge stieß.

Der Herr aber sprach durch ein Gesicht in der Nacht zu Paulus: Fürchte dich nicht, sondern rede und schweige nicht!

denn ich bin mit dir, und niemand soll dich angreifen, dir Übles zu tun; denn ich habe ein großes Volk in dieser Stadt.

Porque yo estoy contigo, y ninguno te podrá hacer mal; porque yo tengo mucho pueblo en esta ciudad.

For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.”

Und er hielt sich 1 Jahr und 6 Monate auf und lehrte unter ihnen das Wort Gottes.

Als aber Gallion Prokonsul von Achaja war, traten die Juden einmütig gegen Paulus auf und führten ihn vor den Richterstuhl

Y siendo Galión procónsul de Acaya, los Judíos se levantaron de común acuerdo contra Pablo, y le llevaron al tribunal,

And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,

und sagten: Dieser überredet die Menschen, Gott anzubeten, dem Gesetz zuwider.

Diciendo: Que éste persuade á los hombres á honrar á Dios contra la ley.

Als aber Paulus den Mund öffnen wollte, sagte Gallion zu den Juden: Wenn es ein Unrecht oder eine böse Handlung wäre, o Juden, so hätte ich euch billigerweise ertragen;

And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O ye Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

wenn es aber Streitfragen sind über Worte und Namen und das Gesetz, das ihr habt, so seht ihr selbst zu, †denn über diese Dinge will ich nicht Richter sein.

Mas si son cuestiones de palabras, y de nombres, y de vuestra ley, vedlo vosotros; porque yo no quiero ser juez de estas cosas.

But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look ye to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

Alle aber ergriffen Sosthenes, den Vorsteher der Synagoge, und schlugen ihn vor dem Richterstuhl; und Gallion kümmerte sich nicht um dies alles.

Nachdem aber Paulus noch viele Tage dageblieben war, nahm er Abschied von den Brüdern und segelte nach Syrien ab, und mit ihm Priszilla und Aquila, nachdem er in Kenchreä das Haupt geschoren hatte, denn er hatte ein Gelübde.

And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Paul, having stayed after this many more days, took his leave of the brothers, and sailed from there for Syria, together with Priscilla and Aquila. He shaved his head in Cenchreae, for he had a vow.

Er kam aber nach Ephesus und ließ jene dort; er selbst aber ging in die Synagoge und unterredete sich mit den Juden.

Als sie ihn aber baten, dass er längere Zeit †bei ihnen bleiben möchte, willigte er nicht ein,

sondern nahm Abschied von ihnen und sagte: †Ich muss durchaus das zukünftige Fest in Jerusalem halten ich werde, wenn Gott will, wieder zu euch zurückkehren. Und er fuhr von Ephesus ab.

Sino que se despidió de ellos, diciendo: Es menester que en todo caso tenga la fiesta que viene, en Jerusalem; mas otra vez volveré á vosotros, queriendo Dios. Y partió de Efeso.

But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

but taking his leave of them, he said, “I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem, but I will return again to you if God wills.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

Und als er in Cäsarea gelandet war, ging er hinauf und begrüßte die Versammlung und zog hinab nach Antiochien.

Dieser war in dem Weg des Herrn unterwiesen, und brennend im Geist redete und lehrte er sorgfältig die Dinge von Jesus, obwohl er nur die Taufe Johannes kannte.

Este era instruído en el camino del Señor; y ferviente de espíritu, hablaba y enseñaba diligentemente las cosas que son del Señor, enseñando solamente en el bautismo de Juan.

This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

Und dieser fing an, freimütig in der Synagoge zu reden. Als aber Aquila und Priszilla ihn hörten, nahmen sie ihn zu sich und legten ihm den Weg Gottes genauer aus.

Y comenzó á hablar confiadamente en la sinagoga: al cual como oyeron Priscila y Aquila, le tomaron, y le declararon más particularmente el camino de Dios.

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

When he had determined to pass over into Achaia, the brothers encouraged him; and wrote to the disciples to receive him. When he had come, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace;

denn kräftig widerlegte er die Juden öffentlich, indem er durch die Schriften bewies, dass Jesus der Christus ist.

Porque con gran vehemencia convencía públicamente á los Judíos, mostrando por las Escrituras que Jesús era el Cristo.

For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

for he powerfully refuted the Jews, publicly showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.
