Dans mon premier livre, ô Théophile, j'ai raconté toutes les choses que Jésus a commencé de faire et d'enseigner,

EN el primer tratado, oh Teófilo, he hablado de todas las cosas que Jesús comenzó á hacer y á enseñar,

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,

jusqu'au jour où il fut enlevé, après avoir donné des ordres par l'Esprit saint aux apôtres qu'il avait choisis ;

Hasta el día en que, habiendo dado mandamientos por el Espíritu Santo á los apóstoles que escogió, fué recibido arriba;

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.

à qui aussi, après avoir souffert, il se présenta lui-même, vivant, par beaucoup de preuves, se faisant voir à eux pendant quarante jours et parlant de ce qui regarde le royaume de Dieu.

A los cuales, después de haber padecido, se presentó vivo con muchas pruebas indubitables, apareciéndoles por cuarenta días, y hablándoles del reino de Dios.

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about God’s Kingdom.

Et comme il était assemblé avec eux, il leur commanda de ne point s'éloigner de Jérusalem ; mais d'attendre la promesse du Père, que vous avez entendue de moi,

Y estando juntos, les mandó que no se fuesen de Jerusalem, sino que esperasen la promesa del Padre, que oísteis, dijo, de mí.

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.

car Jean a baptisé d'eau, mais vous, vous serez baptisés d'Esprit saint dans peu de jours.

Porque Juan á la verdad bautizó con agua, mas vosotros seréis bautizados con el Espíritu Santo no muchos días después de estos.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Eux donc étant réunis, l'interrogèrent, disant : Seigneur, est-ce en ce temps-ci que tu rétabliras le royaume d'Israël ?

Entonces los que se habían juntado le preguntaron, diciendo: Señor, ¿restituirás el reino á Israel en este tiempo?

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”

Il leur dit : Ce n'est pas à vous de connaître les temps ou les moments que le Père a fixés de sa propre autorité ;

Y les dijo: No toca á vosotros saber los tiempos ó las sazones que el Padre puso en su sola potestad;

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.

mais vous recevrez une puissance, quand le Saint-Esprit sera venu sur vous ; et vous serez mes témoins, à Jérusalem d'abord, et dans toute la Judée et la Samarie, et jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre.

Mas recibiréis la virtud del Espíritu Santo que vendrá sobre vosotros; y me sereís testigos en Jerusalem, y en toda Judea, y Samaria, y hasta lo último de la tierra.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

Et après qu'il eut dit ces choses, il fut élevé pendant qu'ils le regardaient, et une nuée le déroba à leurs yeux.

Y habiendo dicho estas cosas, viéndolo ellos, fué alzado; y una nube le recibió y le quitó de sus ojos.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Et comme ils avaient les yeux fixés au ciel, pendant qu'il s'en allait, voici, deux hommes en vêtements blancs s'étaient placés à côté d'eux,

Y estando con los ojos puestos en el cielo, entre tanto que él iba, he aquí dos varones se pusieron junto á ellos en vestidos blancos;

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,

qui leur dirent : Hommes galiléens, pourquoi vous arrêtez-vous à regarder au ciel ? Ce même Jésus, qui a été enlevé d'avec vous au ciel, reviendra de la même manière que vous l'avez vu allant au ciel.

Los cuales también les dijeron: Varones Galileos, ¿qué estáis mirando al cielo? este mismo Jesús que ha sido tomado desde vosotros arriba en el cielo, así vendrá como le habéis visto ir al cielo.

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”

Alors ils s'en retournèrent à Jérusalem, de la montagne appelée des Oliviers, qui est près de Jérusalem, à la distance d'un chemin de sabbat.

Entonces se volvieron á Jerusalem del monte que se llama del Olivar, el cual está cerca de Jerusalem camino de un sábado.

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.

Et quand ils furent arrivés, ils montèrent dans la chambre haute, où ils se tenaient habituellement : c'était Pierre et Jean et Jacques et André, Philippe et Thomas, Barthélemi et Matthieu, Jacques, fils d'Alphée, et Simon le zélote, et Jude, fils de Jacques.

Y entrados, subieron al aposento alto, donde moraban Pedro y Jacobo, y Juan y Andrés, Felipe y Tomás, Bartolomé y Mateo, Jacobo hijo de Alfeo, y Simón Zelotes, y Judas hermano de Jacobo.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

When they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were staying, that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.

Tous ceux-là persévéraient d'un commun accord dans la prière, avec les femmes, et Marie, mère de Jésus, et avec les frères de Jésus.

Todos éstos perseveraban unánimes en oración y ruego, con las mujeres, y con María la madre de Jesús, y con sus hermanos.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

En ces jours-là, Pierre s'étant levé au milieu des frères (or il y avait une réunion d'environ cent vingt personnes assemblées), dit :

Y en aquellos días, Pedro, levantándose en medio de los hermanos, dijo (y era la compañía junta como de ciento y veinte en número):

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

In these days, Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,

Hommes frères, il fallait que fût accomplie la parole de l'Ecriture que l'Esprit saint a prononcée d'avance, par la bouche de David, relativement à Judas, qui a servi de guide à ceux qui ont pris Jésus ;

Varones hermanos, convino que se cumpliese la Escritura, la cual dijo antes el Espíritu Santo por la boca de David, de Judas, que fué guía de los que prendieron á Jesús;

Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

“Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus.

car il était compté parmi nous et il avait eu part à ce ministère.

El cuál era contado con nosotros, y tenía suerte en este ministerio.

For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry.

Cet homme donc a acquis un champ avec le salaire de l'injustice, et s'étant précipité, il s'est rompu par le milieu, et toutes ses entrailles ont été répandues.

Este, pues, adquirió un campo del salario de su iniquidad, y colgándose, reventó por medio, y todas sus entrañas se derramaron.

Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness; and falling headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines gushed out.

Et ceci a été connu de tous les habitants de Jérusalem, en sorte que ce champ-là a été appelé en leur propre langue, Hakeldamach, c'est-à-dire, le champ du sang.

Y fué notorio á todos los moradores de Jerusalem; de tal manera que aquel campo es llamado en su propia lengua, Acéldama, que es, Campo de sangre.

And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Akeldama,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’

Car il est écrit dans le livre des Psaumes : Que sa demeure devienne déserte, et qu'il n'y ait personne qui l'habite ; » et encore : Qu'un autre prenne sa charge.

Porque está escrito en el libro de los salmos: Sea hecha desierta su habitación, y no haya quien more en ella; y: Tome otro su obispado.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation be made desolate. Let no one dwell in it;’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’

Il faut donc que de ceux qui nous ont accompagnés, pendant tout le temps que le Seigneur Jésus a vécu parmi nous,

Conviene, pues, que de estos hombres que han estado juntos con nosotros todo el tiempo que el Señor Jesús entró y salió entre nosotros,

Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

“Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

depuis le baptême de Jean jusqu'au jour où il a été enlevé d'avec nous, il y en ait un qui devienne avec nous un témoin de sa résurrection.

Comenzando desde el bautismo de Juan, hasta el día que fué recibido arriba de entre nosotros, uno sea hecho testigo con nosotros de su resurrección.

Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

beginning from the baptism of John to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”

Et ils en présentèrent deux : Joseph, appelé Barsabas, qui fut surnommé Juste, et Matthias.

Y señalaron á dos: á José, llamado Barsabas, que tenía por sobrenombre Justo, y á Matías.

And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

They put forward two: Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthias.

Et priant, ils dirent : Toi, Seigneur, qui connais les cœurs de tous, montre lequel de ces deux, tu as choisi,

Y orando, dijeron: Tú, Señor, que conoces los corazones de todos, muestra cuál escoges de estos dos,

And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

They prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen

pour prendre la place de ce ministère et de cet apostolat dont Judas s'est retiré pour aller en son propre lieu.

Para que tome el oficio de este ministerio y apostolado, del cual cayó Judas por transgresión, para irse á su lugar.

That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”

Et ils jetèrent le sort sur eux ; et le sort tomba sur Matthias, qui fut compté avec les onze apôtres.

Y les echaron suertes, y cayó la suerte sobre Matías; y fué contado con los once apóstoles.

And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias; and he was counted with the eleven apostles.
