Meinen ersten Bericht habe ich, lieber Theophilus, über alles das verfaßt, was Jesus getan und gelehrt hat von Anfang an

EN el primer tratado, oh Teófilo, he hablado de todas las cosas que Jesús comenzó á hacer y á enseñar,

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,

bis zu dem Tage, an dem er den Aposteln, die er erwählt hatte, durch den heiligen Geist seine (letzten) Aufträge erteilte und dann (in den Himmel) aufgenommen wurde.

Hasta el día en que, habiendo dado mandamientos por el Espíritu Santo á los apóstoles que escogió, fué recibido arriba;

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom he had chosen.

Ihnen hatte er sich auch nach seinem Leiden durch viele Beweise als lebendig bezeugt, indem er sich vierzig Tage lang vor ihnen sehen ließ und mit ihnen über das Reich Gottes redete.

A los cuales, después de haber padecido, se presentó vivo con muchas pruebas indubitables, apareciéndoles por cuarenta días, y hablándoles del reino de Dios.

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about God’s Kingdom.

Als er so mit ihnen zusammen war, gebot er ihnen, sich von Jerusalem nicht zu entfernen, sondern (dort) die (Erfüllung der) Verheißung des Vaters abzuwarten, »die ihr« – so lauteten seine Worte – »von mir vernommen habt;

Y estando juntos, les mandó que no se fuesen de Jerusalem, sino que esperasen la promesa del Padre, que oísteis, dijo, de mí.

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, “Don’t depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.

denn Johannes hat (nur) mit Wasser getauft, ihr aber werdet mit heiligem Geist getauft werden, und zwar nicht lange nach diesen Tagen.«

Porque Juan á la verdad bautizó con agua, mas vosotros seréis bautizados con el Espíritu Santo no muchos días después de estos.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

For John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Da fragten ihn die dort Versammelten: »Herr, stellst du in dieser Zeit das Königtum für (das Volk) Israel wieder her?«

Entonces los que se habían juntado le preguntaron, diciendo: Señor, ¿restituirás el reino á Israel en este tiempo?

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israel?”

Er antwortete ihnen: »Euch kommt es nicht zu, Zeiten und Fristen zu wissen, die der Vater vermöge seiner eigenen Machtvollkommenheit festgesetzt hat.

Y les dijo: No toca á vosotros saber los tiempos ó las sazones que el Padre puso en su sola potestad;

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

He said to them, “It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.

Ihr werdet jedoch Kraft empfangen, wenn der heilige Geist auf euch kommt, und ihr werdet Zeugen für mich sein in Jerusalem und in ganz Judäa und Samaria und bis ans Ende der Erde.«

Mas recibiréis la virtud del Espíritu Santo que vendrá sobre vosotros; y me sereís testigos en Jerusalem, y en toda Judea, y Samaria, y hasta lo último de la tierra.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

Nach diesen Worten wurde er vor ihren Augen emporgehoben: eine Wolke nahm ihn auf und entzog ihn ihren Blicken;

Y habiendo dicho estas cosas, viéndolo ellos, fué alzado; y una nube le recibió y le quitó de sus ojos.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

und als sie ihm noch unverwandt nachschauten, während er zum Himmel auffuhr, standen mit einemmal zwei Männer in weißen Gewändern bei ihnen,

Y estando con los ojos puestos en el cielo, entre tanto que él iba, he aquí dos varones se pusieron junto á ellos en vestidos blancos;

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,

die sagten: »Ihr Männer aus Galiläa, was steht ihr da und blickt zum Himmel empor? Dieser Jesus, der aus eurer Mitte in den Himmel emporgehoben worden ist, wird in derselben Weise kommen, wie ihr ihn in den Himmel habt auffahren sehen!«

Los cuales también les dijeron: Varones Galileos, ¿qué estáis mirando al cielo? este mismo Jesús que ha sido tomado desde vosotros arriba en el cielo, así vendrá como le habéis visto ir al cielo.

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

who also said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky, will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.”

Darauf kehrten sie von dem sogenannten Ölberge, der nahe bei Jerusalem liegt und nur einen Sabbatweg entfernt ist, nach Jerusalem zurück.

Entonces se volvieron á Jerusalem del monte que se llama del Olivar, el cual está cerca de Jerusalem camino de un sábado.

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.

Als sie dort angekommen waren, gingen sie in das Obergemach (des Hauses) hinauf, wo sie sich aufzuhalten pflegten, nämlich Petrus und Johannes und Jakobus und Andreas, Philippus und Thomas, Bartholomäus und Matthäus, Jakobus, der Sohn des Alphäus, und Simon der Eiferer und Judas, der Sohn des Jakobus.

Y entrados, subieron al aposento alto, donde moraban Pedro y Jacobo, y Juan y Andrés, Felipe y Tomás, Bartolomé y Mateo, Jacobo hijo de Alfeo, y Simón Zelotes, y Judas hermano de Jacobo.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

When they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were staying, that is Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.

Diese alle waren dort einmütig und andauernd im Gebet vereinigt samt (einigen) Frauen, besonders auch mit Maria, der Mutter Jesu, und mit seinen Brüdern.

Todos éstos perseveraban unánimes en oración y ruego, con las mujeres, y con María la madre de Jesús, y con sus hermanos.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

In diesen Tagen nun trat Petrus im Kreise der Brüder auf – es war aber eine Schar von ungefähr einhundertundzwanzig Personen versammelt – und sagte:

Y en aquellos días, Pedro, levantándose en medio de los hermanos, dijo (y era la compañía junta como de ciento y veinte en número):

And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

In these days, Peter stood up in the middle of the disciples (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,

»Liebe Brüder, das Schriftwort mußte erfüllt werden, das der heilige Geist durch den Mund Davids im voraus ausgesprochen hat über Judas, der denen, die Jesus gefangen nahmen, als Führer gedient hat;

Varones hermanos, convino que se cumpliese la Escritura, la cual dijo antes el Espíritu Santo por la boca de David, de Judas, que fué guía de los que prendieron á Jesús;

Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

“Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was guide to those who took Jesus.

und er gehörte doch zu unserer Zahl und hatte Anteil an diesem Dienst mit uns empfangen!

El cuál era contado con nosotros, y tenía suerte en este ministerio.

For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry.

Dieser hat sich nun zwar von seinem Sündenlohn einen Acker gekauft, ist aber kopfüber zu Boden gestürzt und mitten auseinander geborsten, so daß alle seine Eingeweide herausgetreten sind.

Este, pues, adquirió un campo del salario de su iniquidad, y colgándose, reventó por medio, y todas sus entrañas se derramaron.

Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness; and falling headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines gushed out.

Dies ist allen Einwohnern Jerusalems bekannt geworden, so daß auch jener Acker in ihrer Sprache den Namen Hakeldamach, das heißt ›Blutacker‹, erhalten hat.

Y fué notorio á todos los moradores de Jerusalem; de tal manera que aquel campo es llamado en su propia lengua, Acéldama, que es, Campo de sangre.

And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

It became known to everyone who lived in Jerusalem that in their language that field was called ‘Akeldama,’ that is, ‘The field of blood.’

Denn im Psalmbuch steht geschrieben: ›Seine Behausung soll öde werden und kein Bewohner darin sein‹, und ferner: ›Sein Aufseheramt soll ein anderer übernehmen.‹

Porque está escrito en el libro de los salmos: Sea hecha desierta su habitación, y no haya quien more en ella; y: Tome otro su obispado.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his habitation be made desolate. Let no one dwell in it;’ and, ‘Let another take his office.’

Es muß also einer von den Männern, die mit uns zusammen gezogen sind während der ganzen Zeit, in welcher der Herr Jesus bei uns ein- und ausgegangen ist,

Conviene, pues, que de estos hombres que han estado juntos con nosotros todo el tiempo que el Señor Jesús entró y salió entre nosotros,

Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

“Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

nämlich von der Taufe des Johannes an bis zu dem Tage, an dem er aus unserer Mitte hinweg (zum Himmel) emporgehoben worden ist – einer von diesen muß ein Zeuge seiner Auferstehung im Verein mit uns werden.«

Comenzando desde el bautismo de Juan, hasta el día que fué recibido arriba de entre nosotros, uno sea hecho testigo con nosotros de su resurrección.

Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

beginning from the baptism of John to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection.”

So stellten sie denn zwei Männer auf: Joseph, genannt Barsabbas, der den Beinamen Justus führte, und Matthias.

Y señalaron á dos: á José, llamado Barsabas, que tenía por sobrenombre Justo, y á Matías.

And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

They put forward two: Joseph called Barsabbas, who was also called Justus, and Matthias.

Dann beteten sie mit den Worten: »Du, o Herr, der du die Herzen aller kennst, zeige du (uns) den einen an, den du von diesen beiden erwählt hast,

Y orando, dijeron: Tú, Señor, que conoces los corazones de todos, muestra cuál escoges de estos dos,

And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

They prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all men, show which one of these two you have chosen

damit er die Stelle in diesem Dienst und Apostelamt übernehme, aus welchem Judas abgetreten ist, um an den ihm gebührenden Platz zu kommen!«

Para que tome el oficio de este ministerio y apostolado, del cual cayó Judas por transgresión, para irse á su lugar.

That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”

Hierauf teilte man ihnen Lose zu, und das Los fiel auf Matthias, der nunmehr den elf Aposteln zugeordnet wurde.

Y les echaron suertes, y cayó la suerte sobre Matías; y fué contado con los once apóstoles.

And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias; and he was counted with the eleven apostles.
