Cessado o tumulto, Paulo chamou os discípulos, e encorajou-os; então, despediu-se deles e partiu para a Macedônia.

Y DESPUÉS que cesó el alboroto, llamando Pablo á los discípulos habiéndoles exhortado y abrazado, se despidió, y partió para ir á Macedonia.

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.

After the uproar had ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, took leave of them, and departed to go into Macedonia.

Passando ele por aquelas regiões, encorajava bastante os cristãos dessas áreas; e chegou à Grécia.

Y andado que hubo aquellas partes, y exhortádoles con abundancia de palabra, vino á Grecia.

And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,

When he had gone through those parts and had encouraged them with many words, he came into Greece.

Depois de passar três meses ali, alguns judeus conspiraram contra ele no momento em que estava prestes a embarcar para a Síria; então, ele decidiu voltar pela Macedônia.

Y después de haber estado allí tres meses, y habiendo de navegar á Siria, le fueron puestas asechanzas por los Judíos; y así tomó consejo de volverse por Macedonia.

And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

When he had spent three months there, and a plot was made against him by Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he determined to return through Macedonia.

Acompanhando-o até a Ásia estavam: Sópatro, filho de Pirro de Bereia; Aristarco e Secundo, ambos de Tessalônica; Gaio de Derbe; Timóteo; além de Tíquico e Trófimo da Ásia.

Y le acompañaron hasta Asia Sopater Bereense, y los Tesalonicenses, Aristarco y Segundo; y Gayo de Derbe, y Timoteo; y de Asia, Tychîco y Trófimo.

And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

These accompanied him as far as Asia: Sopater of Beroea, Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians, Gaius of Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.

Contudo, esses homens foram antes e nos esperaram em Trôade.

Estos yendo delante, nos esperaron en Troas.

These going before tarried for us at Troas.

Navegamos de Filipos após a Festa dos Pães sem Fermento, e, cinco dias depois, nos reunimos com eles em Trôade. Ali ficamos por sete dias.

And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

No primeiro dia da semana, quando estávamos reunidos para partir o pão, Paulo falou ao povo, ele pretendia partir no dia seguinte, então, continuou pregando até meia noite.

Y el día primero de la semana, juntos los discípulos á partir el pan, Pablo les enseñaba, habiendo de partir al día siguiente: y alargó el discurso hasta la media noche.

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

Havia muitas candeias no aposento superior, onde estávamos reunidos.

Y había muchas lámparas en el aposento alto donde estaban juntos.

And there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.

Assentado numa janela estava um jovem chamado Êutico que caiu num sono profundo. Conforme Paulo estendeu o discurso, esse jovem, ainda dormindo, caiu do terceiro andar, e, quando o levantaram, estava morto.

Y un mancebo llamado Eutichô que estaba sentado en la ventana, tomado de un sueño profundo, como Pablo disputaba largamente, postrado del sueño cayó del tercer piso abajo, y fué alzado muerto.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

A certain young man named Eutychus sat in the window, weighed down with deep sleep. As Paul spoke still longer, being weighed down by his sleep, he fell down from the third floor and was taken up dead.

Entretanto, Paulo desceu, inclinou-se sobre o rapaz, abraçou-o e disse: "Não vos pertubeis, pois ele está vivo".

Entonces descendió Pablo, y derribóse sobre él, y abrazándole, dijo: No os alborotéis, que su alma está en él.

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

Paul went down and fell upon him, and embracing him said, “Don’t be troubled, for his life is in him.”

E, subindo, partindo o pão, comeu e falou-lhes por muito tempo, até o amanhecer e partiu.

Después subiendo, y partiendo el pan, y gustando, habló largamente hasta el alba, y así partió.

When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.

E levaram de volta o rapaz vivo, o que muito os confortou.

Y llevaron al mozo vivo, y fueron consolados no poco.

And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.

Nós mesmos fomos à frente de Paulo, de navio, e navegamos até Assôs, onde receberíamos Paulo à bordo; assim como ele mesmo havia determinado, pois planejara ir por terra.

Y nosotros subiendo en el navío, navegamos á Assón, para recibir de allí á Pablo; pues así había determinado que debía él ir por tierra.

And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.

But we, going ahead to the ship, set sail for Assos, intending to take Paul aboard there; for he had so arranged, intending himself to go by land.

Quando o encontramos em Assôs, recebemos-lo a bordo e fomos para Mitilene.

Y como se juntó con nosotros en Assón, tomándole vinimos á Mitilene.

And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.

When he met us at Assos, we took him aboard and came to Mitylene.

Então, navegamos dali e, no dia seguinte, chegamos ao lado oposto da ilha de Quios. No outro dia, chegamos à ilha de Samos, e um dia depois chegamos a cidade de Mileto.

Y navegando de allí, al día siguiente llegamos delante de Chîo, y al otro día tomamos puerto en Samo: y habiendo reposado en Trogilio, al día siguiente llegamos á Mileto.

And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.

Sailing from there, we came the following day opposite Chios. The next day we touched at Samos and stayed at Trogyllium, and the day after we came to Miletus.

Paulo havia decidido não aportar em Éfeso, a fim de não desperdiçar muito tempo na Ásia, pois estava apressado para chegar em Jerusalém no dia de Pentecostes, se de alguma maneira lhe fosse possível.

Porque Pablo se había propuesto pasar adelante de Efeso; por no detenerse en Asia: porque se apresuraba por hacer el día de Pentecostés, si le fuese posible, en Jerusalem.

For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hastening, if it were possible for him, to be in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.

De Mileto, ele enviou homens a Éfeso, e mandou chamar os presbíteros da igreja.

Y enviando desde Mileto á Efeso, hizo llamar á los ancianos de la iglesia.

And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called to himself the elders of the assembly.

Quando chegaram, ele lhes disse: "Vós mesmos sabeis, desde o primeiro dia que pisei na Ásia, como sempre passei meu tempo convosco.

Y cuando vinieron á él, les dijo: Vosotros sabéis cómo, desde el primer día que entré en Asia, he estado con vosotros por todo el tiempo,

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

When they had come to him, he said to them, “You yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, how I was with you all the time,

Segui servindo ao Senhor com toda a humildade e com lágrimas, e em sofrimentos que me aconteceram por causa das conspirações dos judeus.

Sirviendo al Señor con toda humildad, y con muchas lágrimas, y tentaciones que me han venido por las asechanzas de los Judíos:

Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears, and with trials which happened to me by the plots of the Jews;

Vós sabeis que não deixei de pregar-vos nada que não fosse proveitoso, como vos ensinei em público e também de casa em casa,

Cómo nada que fuese útil he rehuído de anunciaros y enseñaros, públicamente y por las casas,

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

how I didn’t shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly and from house to house,

testificando tanto a judeus como a gregos sobre o arrependimento diante de Deus e a fé em nosso Senhor Jesus.

Testificando á los Judíos y á los Gentiles arrepentimiento para con Dios, y la fe en nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

E agora, compelido pelo Espírito, vou para Jerusalém, sem saber as coisas que me acontecerão ali,

Y ahora, he aquí, ligado yo en espíritu, voy á Jerusalem, sin saber lo que allá me ha de acontecer:

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

exceto o que o Espírito Santo me testifica que, em toda cidade, prisões e sofrimentos me esperam.

Mas que el Espíritu Santo por todas las ciudades me da testimonio, diciendo que prisiones y tribulaciones me esperan.

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions wait for me.

Contudo, não considero minha vida preciosa para mim mesmo, se eu puder tão somente terminar a corrida e o ministério que recebi do Senhor Jesus, para dar testemunho do Evangelho da graça de Deus.

Mas de ninguna cosa hago caso, ni estimo mi vida preciosa para mí mismo; solamente que acabe mi carrera con gozo, y el ministerio que recibí del Señor Jesús, para dar testimonio del evangelio de la gracia de Dios.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

E agora sei que nenhum de vós, dentre os quais passei pregando o Reino, jamais vereis minha face.

Y ahora, he aquí, yo sé que ninguno de todos vosotros, por quien he pasado predicando el reino de Dios, verá más mi rostro.

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

“Now, behold, I know that you all, among whom I went about preaching God’s Kingdom, will see my face no more.

Portanto, hoje vos testifico que sou inocente do sangue de qualquer homem.

Por tanto, yo os protesto el día de hoy, que yo soy limpio de la sangre de todos:

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

Therefore I testify to you today that I am clean from the blood of all men,

Pois não vos deixei de declarar todo o conselho de Deus.

Porque no he rehuído de anunciaros todo el consejo de Dios.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

for I didn’t shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

Portanto, cuidai de vós mesmos e de todo o rebanho sobre o qual o Espírito Santo vos fez bispos, para pastoreardes a igreja do Senhor, a qual Ele comprou com Seu próprio sangue.

Por tanto mirad por vosotros, y por todo el rebaño en que el Espíritu Santo os ha puesto por obispos, para apacentar la iglesia del Señor, la cual ganó por su sangre.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.

Sei que após a minha partida, lobos ferozes entrarão no meio de vós, e não pouparão o rebanho.

Porque yo sé que después de mi partida entrarán en medio de vosotros lobos rapaces, que no perdonarán al ganado;

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

E sei que mesmo dentre vós, alguns homens se levantarão e perverterão a verdade, a fim de afastar os discípulos e atraí-los para si.

Y de vosotros mismos se levantarán hombres que hablen cosas perversas, para llevar discípulos tras sí.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Men will arise from among your own selves, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

Portanto, vigiai, lembrando-vos que durante três anos não parei de instruir e advertir cada um de vós com lágrimas dia e noite.

Por tanto, velad, acordándoos que por tres años de noche y de día, no he cesado de amonestar con lágrimas á cada uno.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.

Agora, encomendo-vos a Deus e à Palavra da Sua graça, que é capaz de vos edificar e dar-vos heranças entre todos que estão sendo santificados.

Y ahora, hermanos, os encomiendo á Dios, y á la palabra de su gracia: el cual es poderoso para sobreedificar, y daros heredad con todos los santificados.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Não cobicei prata, nem ouro ou roupas de homem algum.

La plata, ó el oro, ó el vestido de nadie he codiciado.

I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.

Vós sabeis que estas mãos serviram às minhas necessidades e às necessidades daqueles que estavam comigo.

Antes vosotros sabéis que para lo que me ha sido necesario, y á los que están conmigo, estas manos me han servido.

Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities, and those who were with me.

Em todas as coisas, dei-vos exemplo de como ajudar os fracos trabalhando, e como deveis lembrar das palavras do Senhor Jesus, palavras que Ele mesmo disse: "Mais bem-aventurado é dar do que receber".

En todo os he enseñado que, trabajando así, es necesario sobrellevar á los enfermos, y tener presente las palabras del Señor Jesús, el cual dijo: Más bienaventurada cosa es dar que recibir.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

Depois de ter falado, ajoelhou-se e orou com todos eles.

Y como hubo dicho estas cosas, se puso de rodillas, y oró con todos ellos.

And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

Todos choraram muito e, abraçando Paulo, o beijaram.

Entonces hubo un gran lloro de todos: y echándose en el cuello de Pablo, le besaban,

And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him,

Eles estavam tristes principalmente por causa do que ele lhes dissera, que nunca mais veriam sua face novamente. Então o acompanharam até ao navio.

Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
