And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

Pero habiendo bajado Pablo, se echó sobre él, y abrazándole, dijo: No os asustéis, pues está vivo.

Porque Pablo se había propuesto no tocar en Efeso, para que no le detuviesen poco o mucho en Asia, por cuanto se daba prisa con el fin de celebrar, sí le fuese posible, el día de Pentecostés en Jerusalén .

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.
Ahora bien, yo sé que ninguno de todos vosotros, por cuyas tierras he discurrido predicando el reino de Dios me volverá a ver.

Por tanto os protesto en este día, que yo no tengo la culpa de la perdición de ninguno.

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

Pues que no he dejado de comunicaros todos los designios de Dios.

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Velad sobre vosotros y sobre toda la grey, en la cual el Espíritu Santo os ha instituido obispos, para apacentar o gobernar la Iglesia de Dios, que ha ganado él con su propia sangre.
Por tanto mirad por vosotros, y por todo el rebaño en que el Espíritu Santo os ha puesto por obispos, para apacentar la iglesia del Señor, la cual ganó por su sangre.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Concluido este razonamiento, se puso de rodillas e hizo oración con todos ellos.
