Da er sich nicht abbringen ließ, gaben wir uns zufrieden und sprachen: Es geschehe der Wille des Herrn.

Y como no le pudimos persuadir, desistimos, diciendo: Hágase la voluntad del Señor.

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

When he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The Lord’s will be done.”
