Ainsi donc étant partis, et nous étant éloignés d’eux, nous tirâmes droit à Coos, et le jour suivant à Rhodes, et de là à Patara.

Y HABIENDO partido de ellos, navegamos y vinimos camino derecho á Coos, y al día siguiente á Rhodas, y de allí á Pátara.

And it came to pass, that after we were gotten from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:

When we had departed from them and had set sail, we came with a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.

Et ayant trouvé là un navire qui traversait en Phénicie, nous montâmes dessus, et partîmes.

Y hallando un barco que pasaba á Fenicia, nos embarcamos, y partimos.

And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.

Having found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and set sail.

Puis ayant découvert Cypre, nous la laissâmes à main gauche, et tirant vers la Syrie, nous arrivâmes à Tyr : car le navire y devait laisser sa charge.

Y como avistamos á Cipro, dejándola á mano izquierda, navegamos á Siria, y vinimos á Tiro: porque el barco había de descargar allí su carga.

Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

When we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left hand, we sailed to Syria and landed at Tyre, for the ship was there to unload her cargo.

Et ayant trouvé là des disciples, nous y demeurâmes sept jours. Or ils disaient par l’Esprit à Paul qu’il ne montât point à Jérusalem.

Y nos quedamos allí siete días, hallados los discípulos, los cuales decían á Pablo por Espíritu, que no subiese á Jerusalem.

And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

Having found disciples, we stayed there seven days. These said to Paul through the Spirit that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

Mais ces jours-là étant passés, nous partîmes, et nous nous mîmes en chemin, étant conduits de tous avec leurs femmes et leurs enfants, jusque hors de la ville, et ayant mis les genoux en terre sur le rivage, nous fîmes la prière.

Y cumplidos aquellos días, salimos acompañándonos todos, con sus mujeres é hijos, hasta fuera de la ciudad; y puestos de rodillas en la ribera, oramos.

And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

When those days were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.

Et après nous être embrassés les uns les autres, nous montâmes sur le navire, et les autres retournèrent chez eux.

Y abrazándonos los unos á los otros, subimos al barco, y ellos se volvieron á sus casas.

And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.

After saying goodbye to each other, we went on board the ship, and they returned home again.

Et ainsi achevant notre navigation, nous vînmes de Tyr à Ptolémaïs ; et après avoir salué les frères, nous demeurâmes un jour avec eux.

Y nosotros, cumplida la navegación, vinimos de Tiro á Tolemaida; y habiendo saludado á los hermanos, nos quedamos con ellos un día.

And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

When we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais. We greeted the brothers and stayed with them one day.

Et le lendemain Paul et sa compagnie partant de là, nous vînmes à Césarée ; et étant entrés dans la maison de Philippe l’Evangéliste, qui était l’un des sept, nous demeurâmes chez lui.

Y otro día, partidos Pablo y los que con él estábamos, vinimos á Cesarea: y entrando en casa de Felipe el evangelista, el cual era uno de los siete, posamos con él.

And the next day we that were of Paul’s company departed, and came unto Cæsarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

On the next day, we who were Paul’s companions departed and came to Caesarea. We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.

Or il avait quatre filles vierges qui prophétisaient.

Y éste tenía cuatro hijas, doncellas, que profetizaban.

And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied.

Et comme nous fûmes là plusieurs jours, il y arriva de Judée un Prophète, nommé Agabus ;

Y parando nosotros allí por muchos días, descendió de Judea un profeta, llamado Agabo;

And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judæa a certain prophet, named Agabus.

As we stayed there some days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.

Qui nous étant venu voir, prit la ceinture de Paul, et s’en liant les mains et les pieds, il dit : le Saint-Esprit dit ces choses : Les Juifs lieront ainsi à Jérusalem l’homme à qui est cette ceinture, et ils le livreront entre les mains des Gentils.

Y venido á nosotros, tomó el cinto de Pablo, y atándose los pies y las manos, dijo: Esto dice el Espíritu Santo: Así atarán los Judíos en Jerusalem al varón cuyo es este cinto, y le entregarán en manos de los Gentiles.

And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Coming to us and taking Paul’s belt, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, “The Holy Spirit says: ‘So the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”

Quand nous eûmes entendu ces choses, nous, et ceux qui étaient du lieu, nous le priâmes qu’il ne montât point à Jérusalem.

Lo cual como oímos, le rogamos nosotros y los de aquel lugar, que no subiese á Jerusalem.

And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

When we heard these things, both we and the people of that place begged him not to go up to Jerusalem.

Mais Paul répondit : que faites-vous, en pleurant et en affligeant mon coeur ? pour moi, je suis tout prêt, non-seulement d’être lié, mais aussi de mourir à Jérusalem pour le Nom du Seigneur Jésus.

Entonces Pablo respondió: ¿Qué hacéis llorando y afligiéndome el corazón? porque yo no sólo estoy presto á ser atado, mas aun á morir en Jerusalem por el nombre del Señor Jesús.

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Ainsi, parce qu’il ne pouvait être persuadé, nous nous tûmes là- dessus, en disant : la volonté du Seigneur soit faite !

Y como no le pudimos persuadir, desistimos, diciendo: Hágase la voluntad del Señor.

And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

When he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The Lord’s will be done.”

Quelques jours après, ayant chargé nos hardes, nous montâmes à Jérusalem.

Y después de estos días, apercibidos, subimos á Jerusalem.

And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

After these days we took up our baggage and went up to Jerusalem.

Et quelques-uns des disciples vinrent aussi de Césarée avec nous, amenant avec eux un homme appelé Mnason, Cyprien, qui était un ancien disciple, chez qui nous devions loger.

Y vinieron también con nosotros de Cesarea algunos de los discípulos, trayendo consigo á un Mnasón, Cyprio, discípulo antiguo, con el cual posásemos.

There went with us also certain of the disciples of Cæsarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

Some of the disciples from Caesarea also went with us, bringing one Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we would stay.

Et quand nous fûmes arrivés à Jérusalem, les frères nous reçurent avec joie.

Y cuando llegamos á Jerusalem, los hermanos nos recibieron de buena voluntad.

And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.

When we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly.

Et le jour suivant, Paul vint avec nous chez Jacques, et tous les Anciens y vinrent.

Y al día siguiente Pablo entró con nosotros á Jacobo, y todos los ancianos se juntaron;

Et après qu’il les eut embrassés, il raconta en détail les choses que Dieu avait faites parmi les Gentils par son ministère.

A los cuales, como los hubo saludado, contó por menudo lo que Dios había hecho entre los Gentiles por su ministerio.

And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.

When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Gentiles through his ministry.

Ce qu’ayant ouï, ils glorifièrent le Seigneur, et ils dirent à Paul : frère, tu vois combien il y a de milliers de Juifs qui ont cru ; et ils sont tous zélés pour la Loi.

Y ellos como lo oyeron, glorificaron á Dios, y le dijeron: Ya ves, hermano, cuántos millares de Judíos hay que han creído; y todos son celadores de la ley:

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.

Or ils ont ouï dire de toi, que tu enseignes tous les Juifs qui sont parmi les Gentils, de renoncer à Moïse, en leur disant qu’ils ne doivent point circoncire leurs enfants, ni vivre selon les ordonnances de la Loi.

Mas fueron informados acerca de ti, que enseñas á apartarse de Moisés á todos los Judíos que están entre los Gentiles, diciéndoles que no han de circuncidar á los hijos, ni andar según la costumbre.

And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk after the customs.

Que faut-il donc faire ? Il faut absolument assembler la multitude des Fidèles, car ils entendront dire que tu es arrivé.

¿Qué hay pues? La multitud se reunirá de cierto: porque oirán que has venido.

What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.

What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come.

Fais donc ce que nous allons te dire : nous avons quatre hommes qui ont fait un voeu ;

Haz pues esto que te decimos: Hay entre nosotros cuatro hombres que tienen voto sobre sí:

Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;

Therefore do what we tell you. We have four men who have taken a vow.

Prends-les avec toi, et te purifie avec eux, et contribue avec eux, afin qu’ils se rasent la tête, et que tous sachent qu’il n’est rien des choses qu’ils ont ouï dire de toi, mais que tu continues aussi de garder la Loi.

Tomando á éstos contigo, purifícate con ellos, y gasta con ellos, para que rasuren sus cabezas, y todos entiendan que no hay nada de lo que fueron informados acerca de ti; sino que tú también andas guardando la ley.

Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

Take them and purify yourself with them, and pay their expenses for them, that they may shave their heads. Then all will know that there is no truth in the things that they have been informed about you, but that you yourself also walk keeping the law.

Mais à l’égard de ceux d’entre les Gentils qui ont cru, nous en avons écrit, ayant ordonné qu’ils n’observent rien de semblable ; mais seulement qu’ils s’abstiennent de ce qui est sacrifié aux idoles, du sang, des bêtes étouffées, et de la fornication.

Empero cuanto á los que de los Gentiles han creído, nosotros hemos escrito haberse acordado que no guarden nada de esto; solamente que se abstengan de lo que fuere sacrificado á los ídolos, y de sangre, y de ahogado, y de fornicación.

As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written our decision that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from food offered to idols, from blood, from strangled things, and from sexual immorality.”

Paul ayant donc pris ces hommes avec lui, et le jour suivant s’étant purifié avec eux, il entra au Temple en dénonçant quel jour leur purification devait s’achever, et continuant ainsi jusqu’à ce que l’oblation fût présentée pour chacun d’eux.

Entonces Pablo tomó consigo aquellos hombres, y al día siguiente, habiéndose purificado con ellos, entró en el templo, para anunciar el cumplimiento de los días de la purificación, hasta ser ofrecida ofrenda por cada uno de ellos.

Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

Then Paul took the men, and the next day purified himself and went with them into the temple, declaring the fulfillment of the days of purification, until the offering was offered for every one of them.

Et comme les sept jours s’accomplissaient, quelques Juifs d’Asie ayant vu Paul dans le Temple, soulevèrent tout le peuple, et mirent les mains sur lui,

Y cuando estaban para acabarse los siete días, unos Judíos de Asia, como le vieron en el templo, alborotaron todo el pueblo y le echaron mano,

And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

When the seven days were almost completed, the Jews from Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the multitude and laid hands on him,

En criant : hommes Israélites, aidez- nous ! voici cet homme qui partout enseigne tout le monde contre le peuple, contre la Loi, et contre ce Lieu ; et qui de plus a aussi amené des Grecs dans le Temple, et a profané ce saint Lieu.

Dando voces: Varones Israelitas, ayudad: Este es el hombre que por todas partes enseña á todos contra el pueblo, y la ley, y este lugar; y además de esto ha metido Gentiles en el templo, y ha contaminado este lugar santo.

Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

crying out, “Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place. Moreover, he also brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place!”

Car avant cela ils avaient vu avec lui dans la ville Trophime Ephésien, et ils croyaient que Paul l’avait amené dans le Temple.

Porque antes habían visto con él en la ciudad á Trófimo, Efesio, al cual pensaban que Pablo había metido en el templo.

(For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)

For they had seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple.

Et toute la ville fut émue, et le peuple y accourut ; et ayant saisi Paul, ils le traînèrent hors du Temple ; et on ferma aussitôt les portes.

Así que, toda la ciudad se alborotó, y agolpóse el pueblo; y tomando á Pablo, hiciéronle salir fuera del templo, y luego las puertas fueron cerradas.

And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

All the city was moved and the people ran together. They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple. Immediately the doors were shut.

Mais comme ils tâchaient de le tuer, le bruit vint au capitaine de la compagnie de la garnison que tout Jérusalem était en trouble ;

Y procurando ellos matarle, fué dado aviso al tribuno de la compañía, que toda la ciudad de Jerusalem estaba alborotada;

And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

As they were trying to kill him, news came up to the commanding officer of the regiment that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

Et aussitôt il prit des soldats et des centeniers, et courut vers eux ; mais eux voyant le capitaine et les soldats ils cessèrent de battre Paul.

El cual tomando luego soldados y centuriones, corrió á ellos. Y ellos como vieron al tribuno y á los soldados, cesaron de herir á Pablo.

Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.

Immediately he took soldiers and centurions and ran down to them. They, when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, stopped beating Paul.

Et le capitaine s’étant approché, se saisit de lui, et commanda qu’on le liât de deux chaînes ; puis il demanda qui il était, et ce qu’il avait fait.

Entonces llegando el tribuno, le prendió, y le mandó atar con dos cadenas; y preguntó quién era, y qué había hecho.

Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.

Then the commanding officer came near, arrested him, commanded him to be bound with two chains, and inquired who he was and what he had done.

Mais les uns criaient d’une manière, et les autres d’une autre, dans la foule ; et parce qu’il ne pouvait en apprendre rien de certain à cause du bruit, il commanda que Paul fût mené dans la forteresse.

Y entre la multitud, unos gritaban una cosa, y otros otra: y como no podía entender nada de cierto á causa del alboroto, le mandó llevar á la fortaleza.

And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.

Some shouted one thing and some another, among the crowd. When he couldn’t find out the truth because of the noise, he commanded him to be brought into the barracks.

Et quand il fut venu aux degrés, il arriva qu’il fut porté par les soldats, à cause de la violence de la foule ;

Y como llegó á las gradas, aconteció que fué llevado de los soldados á causa de la violencia del pueblo;

And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.

When he came to the stairs, he was carried by the soldiers because of the violence of the crowd;

Car la multitude du peuple le suivait, en criant : fais-le mourir.

Porque multitud de pueblo venía detrás, gritando: Mátale.

For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.

for the multitude of the people followed after, crying out, “Away with him!”

Et comme on allait faire entrer Paul dans la forteresse, il dit au capitaine : m’est-il permis de te dire quelque chose ? Et le capitaine lui demanda : Sais-tu parler Grec ?

Y como comenzaron á meter á Pablo en la fortaleza, dice al tribuno: ¿Me será lícito hablarte algo? Y él dijo: ¿Sabes griego?

And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto thee? Who said, Canst thou speak Greek?

As Paul was about to be brought into the barracks, he asked the commanding officer, “May I speak to you?” He said, “Do you know Greek?

N’es-tu pas l’Egyptien qui ces jours passés as excité une sédition, et as emmené au désert quatre mille brigands ?

¿No eres tú aquel Egipcio que levantaste una sedición antes de estos días, y sacaste al desierto cuatro mil hombres salteadores?

Art not thou that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

Aren’t you then the Egyptian who before these days stirred up to sedition and led out into the wilderness the four thousand men of the Assassins?”

Et Paul lui dit : certes je suis Juif, citoyen, natif de Tarse, ville renommée de la Cilicie ; mais je te prie, permets-moi de parler au peuple.

Entonces dijo Pablo: Yo de cierto soy hombre Judío, ciudadano de Tarso, ciudad no obscura de Cilicia: empero ruégote que me permitas que hable al pueblo.

But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto the people.

But Paul said, “I am a Jew from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no insignificant city. I beg you, allow me to speak to the people.”

Et quand il le lui eut permis, Paul se tenant sur les degrés fit signe de la main au peuple, et s’étant fait un grand silence, il leur parla en Langue Hébraïque, disant :

Y como él se lo permitió, Pablo, estando en pie en las gradas, hizo señal con la mano al pueblo. Y hecho grande silencio, habló en lengua hebrea, diciendo:

And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,

When he had given him permission, Paul, standing on the stairs, beckoned with his hand to the people. When there was a great silence, he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, saying,
