Et je dis : Seigneur, ils savent eux-mêmes que je faisais emprisonner et battre de verges dans les synagogues ceux qui croient en toi ;

Y yo dije: Señor, ellos saben que yo encerraba en cárcel, y hería por las sinagogas á los que creían en ti;

And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:

I said, ‘Lord, they themselves know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue those who believed in you.
