24Entonces el comandante ordenó que Pablo fuera enviado a la fortaleza, y que fuera interrogado usando latigazos para descubrir la razón por la cual la gente gritaba tanto en contra de Pablo.

24Mandó el tribuno que le llevasen á la fortaleza, y ordenó que fuese examinado con azotes, para saber por qué causa clamaban así contra él.

24The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so against him.
