Er hoffte aber daneben, daß ihm von Paulus sollte Geld gegeben werden, daß er ihn losgabe; darum er ihn auch oft fordern lieli und besprach sich mit ihm.

Esperando también con esto, que de parte de Pablo le serían dados dineros, porque le soltase; por lo cual, haciéndole venir muchas veces, hablaba con él.

He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.
