Da aber zwei Jahre urn waren, kam Portius Festus an Felix Statt. Felix aber wollte den Juden eine Wohltat erzeigen und lieli Paulus hinter sich gefangen.

Mas al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor á Porcio Festo: y queriendo Félix ganar la gracia de los Judíos, dejó preso á Pablo.

But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
