Mais pour ne pas te retenir plus longtemps, je te prie de nous écouter brièvement selon ta clémence.

Empero por no molestarte más largamente, ruégote que nos oigas brevemente conforme á tu equidad.

Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.

But that I don’t delay you, I entreat you to bear with us and hear a few words.
