et nous voulûmes le juger selon notre loi : mais le tribun Lysias étant descendu, l'a enlevé de nos mains avec beaucoup de violence, ordonnant que ses accusateurs vinssent devant toi.

Les Juifs aussi se joignirent à lui, prétendant que les choses étaient ainsi.

Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,
Tu peux savoir qu'il n'y a pas plus de douze jours que je suis monté à Jérusalem pour adorer.
Porque tú puedes entender que no hace más de doce días que subí á adorar á Jerusalem;
Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.

Et ils ne m'ont trouvé ni dans le temple, ni dans les synagogues, ni dans la ville, discutant avec quelqu'un ou provoquant une sédition de la foule.

And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
In the temple they didn’t find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues or in the city.
Et ils ne peuvent prouver les choses dont ils m'accusent maintenant.

Mais Félix, qui connaissait assez exactement ce qui concernait cette voie, les ajourna en disant : Quand le tribun Lysias sera descendu, j'examinerai votre affaire.
Entonces Félix, oídas estas cosas, estando bien informado de esta secta, les puso dilación, diciendo: Cuando descendiere el tribuno Lisias acabaré de conocer de vuestro negocio.
And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”
Il ordonna au centenier de garder Paul, et qu'il eût quelque liberté, et qu'on n'empêchât aucun des siens de le servir.
Y mandó al centurión que Pablo fuese guardado, y aliviado de las prisiones; y que no vedase á ninguno de sus familiares servirle, ó venir á él.
And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.

And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
After some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.
Mais comme il parlait de justice et de tempérance, et du jugement à venir, Félix, effrayé, répondit : Pour le présent, va-t'en, mais quand j'en trouverai l'occasion, je te rappellerai.
Y disertando él de la justicia, y de la continencia, y del juicio venidero, espantado Félix, respondió: Ahora vete; mas en teniendo oportunidad te llamaré:
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, “Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”
En même temps aussi, il espérait que Paul lui donnerait de l'argent ; c'est pourquoi aussi il l'envoyait chercher assez fréquemment, et s'entretenait avec lui.
Esperando también con esto, que de parte de Pablo le serían dados dineros, porque le soltase; por lo cual, haciéndole venir muchas veces, hablaba con él.
He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.
Or, après deux ans accomplis, Félix eut pour successeur Porcius Festus ; et voulant s'assurer la reconnaissance des Juifs, Félix laissa Paul dans les chaînes.
Mas al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor á Porcio Festo: y queriendo Félix ganar la gracia de los Judíos, dejó preso á Pablo.
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
