Y CINCO días después descendió el sumo sacerdote Ananías, con algunos de los ancianos, y un cierto Tértulo, orador; y parecieron delante del gobernador contra Pablo.
And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
After five days, the high priest, Ananias, came down with certain elders and an orator, one Tertullus. They informed the governor against Paul.
Quando Paulo estava diante do governador, Tértulo começou a acusá-lo dizendo: "Governador, por tua causa temos grande paz, e por tua providência trazes boas reformas para nossa nação;
Y citado que fué, Tértulo comenzó á acusar, diciendo: Como por causa tuya vivamos en grande paz, y muchas cosas sean bien gobernadas en el pueblo por tu prudencia,
And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,

assim, com toda gratidão reconhecemos tudo o que tu fazes, ó excelentíssimo Félix.

Pois verificamos ser este homem uma peste e alguém que leva judeus de todo mundo a se rebelarem. Ele é um líder da seita nazarena,
Porque hemos hallado que este hombre es pestilencial, y levantador de sediciones entre todos los Judíos por todo el mundo, y príncipe de la secta de los Nazarenos:
For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
For we have found this man to be a plague, an instigator of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.
e até tentou profanar o templo; então, nós o prendemos.
El cual también tentó á violar el templo; y prendiéndole, le quisimos juzgar conforme á nuestra ley:
Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him.

Mas interviniendo el tribuno Lisias, con grande violencia le quitó de nuestras manos,
But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,

Quando perguntares a Paulo sobre todas estas questões, tu, também, serás capaz de descobrir aquilo de que o acusamos".
Mandando á sus acusadores que viniesen á ti; del cual tú mismo juzgando, podrás entender todas estas cosas de que le acusamos.
Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him.”
Juntos, os judeus também acusaram Paulo, e disseram que essas coisas eram verdade.
Y contendían también los Judíos, diciendo ser así estas cosas.
And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.

Todavia, quando o governador acenou para Paulo falar, ele respondeu: "Entendo que por muitos anos tu tens sido o juiz desta nação, e estou muito feliz em me explicar para ti.
Entonces Pablo, haciéndole el gobernador señal que hablase, respondió: Porque sé que muchos años ha eres gobernador de esta nación, con buen ánimo satisfaré por mí.
Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,
Tu estás apto a verificar que, não faz mais de doze dias que subi para adorar em Jerusalém;
Porque tú puedes entender que no hace más de doce días que subí á adorar á Jerusalem;
Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
seeing that you can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem.
e quando eles me encontraram no templo, não discuti com ninguém, e não agitei a multidão, nem nas sinagogas e nem nas cidade;
Y ni me hallaron en el templo disputando con ninguno, ni haciendo concurso de multitud, ni en sinagogas, ni en la ciudad;
And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
In the temple they didn’t find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues or in the city.
e eles não podem provar a ti as acusações que agora fazem contra mim.
Ni te pueden probar las cosas de que ahora me acusan.
Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
Nor can they prove to you the things of which they now accuse me.
Mas isso admito a ti, que, de acordo com o caminho que eles chamam de seita, neste mesmo caminho eu sirvo ao Deus de nossos antepassados. Sou fiel a tudo o que está na lei e nos escritos dos profetas.
Esto empero te confieso, que conforme á aquel Camino que llaman herejía, así sirvo al Dios de mis padres, creyendo todas las cosas que en la ley y en los profetas están escritas;
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Tenho a mesma esperança em Deus, como estes homens também esperam por isso, a ressureição vindoura dos mortos, tanto dos justos como dos injustos,
Teniendo esperanza en Dios que ha de haber resurrección de los muertos, así de justos como de injustos, la cual también ellos esperan.
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Quando fiz isso, certos judeus da Ásia me acharam na cerimônia de purificação no templo, não com uma multidão ou um tumulto.
Cuando me hallaron purificado en el templo (no con multitud ni con alboroto) unos Judíos de Asia;
Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.

Esses homens deveriam estar diante de ti neste momento, para dizer o que têm contra mim, caso tivessem algo.

Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
Or else let these men themselves say what injustice they found in me when I stood before the council,
A não ser que seja sobre isso que eu disse quando estava diante deles: 'Por causa da ressureição dos mortos que eu estou sendo julgado hoje por vós'".
Si no sea que, estando entre ellos prorrumpí en alta voz: Acerca de la resurrección de los muertos soy hoy juzgado de vosotros.
Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
unless it is for this one thing that I cried standing among them, ‘Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged before you today!’”
Félix, porém, estava bem informado acerca do Caminho, e assim adiou a audiência. Ele disse: "Quando o comandante Lísias voltar de Jerusalém decidirei o teu caso".
Entonces Félix, oídas estas cosas, estando bien informado de esta secta, les puso dilación, diciendo: Cuando descendiere el tribuno Lisias acabaré de conocer de vuestro negocio.
And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”
Então ele ordenou que o centurião prendesse a Paulo, mas com brandura e que não impedisse seus amigos de ajudá-lo ou visitá-lo.
Y mandó al centurión que Pablo fuese guardado, y aliviado de las prisiones; y que no vedase á ninguno de sus familiares servirle, ó venir á él.
And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.
Após alguns dias, Félix retornou com sua esposa Drusila, judia, e mandou trazer a Paulo e o ouvia acerca da fé em Cristo Jesus.
Y algunos días después, viniendo Félix con Drusila, su mujer, la cual era Judía, llamó á Pablo, y oyó de él la fe que es en Jesucristo.
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
After some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.
Porém quando Paulo argumentou com ele sobre justiça, domínio próprio, e o julgamento vindouro, Félix ficou com medo e respondeu: "Por agora, vai-te. Mas quando eu tiver oportunidade, mais tarde, te chamarei".
Y disertando él de la justicia, y de la continencia, y del juicio venidero, espantado Félix, respondió: Ahora vete; mas en teniendo oportunidad te llamaré:
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, “Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”
Ao mesmo tempo, ele esperava que Paulo lhe desse algum dinheiro, por isso mandava chamá-lo com mais frequência e conversava com ele.
Esperando también con esto, que de parte de Pablo le serían dados dineros, porque le soltase; por lo cual, haciéndole venir muchas veces, hablaba con él.
He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.
Contudo, quando dois anos se passaram, Pórcio Festo, tornou-se o governador depois de Félix, e querendo agradar os judeus, manteve Paulo na prisão.
Mas al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor á Porcio Festo: y queriendo Félix ganar la gracia de los Judíos, dejó preso á Pablo.
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
